The Best Bar in St. Louis

by Lindsey F.

I am not a drinker but St. Louis Sport Zone is my favorite bar. The food and service is excellent. In the three plus years I have gone there to eat, I have NEVER had a bad experience. Their Trashed Wings are phenomenal. For those of you that watch their pennies Zone's happy hour and late night specials are Fabulous. I have been at Zone for numerous sporting events and the service never falters.

Place is a joke

by John M.

This place leaves a lot to be desired. I went in there to watch football this past Sunday. There were 8 early games and 8 tv's, so I thought it made sense to have 1 game on each tv. When I mentioned this to the staff I was told "relax." Maybe you diasgree, but as a paying customer I thought I had the right to voice my opinion about which game I wanted to watch. When I went to leave the doorman told me that I was no longer welcome as my request wasn't appreciated and that I didnt spend enough money while I was there (which was about $10). I'm not sure about you but I know this isn't the type of place i would EVER want to frequent again. To say this experience was poor is an understatement, and the fact the mangement team did little to correct this issue based on my complaint was even more revealing. I would not recommend this place to anyone-unless this is what you consider quality service.

Now THIS is a sports bar

by David G. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 4,771

By far one of the very best. During football season, this place rocks fior both college and pro games. No matter where you sit, the view is excellent. Fantastic sports atmosphere and everyone is so friendly. The staff are wonderful and go out of their way to make any special event great. Most sports bars only have average food available, but The Sports Zone food is great also. This place is by far my favorite hangout when I'm in town!

TVs Everywhere!

by Tammy J. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 12,101

No matter where you sit at the St. Louis Sports Zone, you'll be able to catch the game one or more of the many TVs. And they have great food as well. I really don't know of a better place to go to watch a game.

The prices are reasonable as well, the food is really good, the staff is friendly... It's a great place.

OH MY GOD!!!

by dj6deuce

This place is so radical!! I mean I can't believe that one bar could have that many TV's no to mention the beautiful and bright servers that work there. I mean this bar is every man's dream and possibly every womans dream! Just think men we have over 60 TV's to look at and women just think you have 60 men to look at not to mention my charming self!! But damn this place is great! Great sports, great women, great management, and a great DJ! Shot out to WCH! Keeep up the good work daddy!

Pros: Food, Girls, DJ

Cons: I suck at Buck Hunter, nothing, nothing

Finally #1

by rt123

Its about time the Zone got voted #1! Where else can you comfortably watch sports in this town? They have awesome prices, a TV in every possible spot, and the friendliest staff Ive ever dealt with. Our alumni group meets there every Saturday during college football and they give us special food and beer prices and even had an authentic beef brisket flown in from Texas for our championship banquet! Tell me where else you will get service like that! In closing they are the best. They go above and beyond in every aspect. I will never go anywhere else again. Oh and by the way, when its "packed" it makes it that much better. Its rare to have a sports bar that is full of diehards around here and I love it!

Pros: cheap beer, great fans, great food

Cons: too loud for my wife, boo-hoo!

Meet me at the Zone!

by LeaMishell

WHEN they expand (because this place STAYS packed everytime I've been there), they should definitely add some couches and of course more walls of TVs as well as a few more pool tables and dart machines. But it's cool the way it is now cuz the patrons don't sweat you to get off the tables/machines. They may even ask if they can play a game or two with you! And to catch more than one game at a time is this girl's dream of sports heaven! I almost gave myself whiplash trying to catch all those games at one time. Thank heaven for commercials! The Zone is a definite spot to go to for any sporting event!

Pros: reasonably priced, friendly staff

Cons: stays packed

Don't Worry

by master1

First of all the people at The St. Louis Sports Zone were the first to bring the wall of TV's to The St. Louis area. And don't be worried about a place to sit anymore or making sure to show up three hours early because they have expanded!!! They've added 2000 sq ft. to the existing seating, pool tables, dart boards, and yes another wall of televisions,(wide screen w/plasma and LCD projection units) and enough 27 and 36' TV's to make your head spin. There is no doubt the Zone is the place to chill. Have you seen there waitstaff????(WoW!!!)

Pros: more seating, games, most viewing in Stl, Friendly crew

Cons: ya right

let's get a cigar, chip!

by horsepills

This place needs to go ahead an expand already. If you're not there 3 hours before a big game then there is no chance you're getting a seat. A wall of tvs is great for sports fans, but that's becoming pretty commonplace now.

Great Place

by andrewahr

The St. Louis Sports Zone is a great place whether it's just a single person going to watch a game, or a group of friends or a large group or sports team. They have a great newer menu, with nothing that takes too long to prepare. Standard bar fare with additional specialities like Wraps and Cheese Stakes. Beer prices are really good and the Servers and Bartenders are the friendliest in town. They could use some sports memorbilia on the walls and cut down on all of the Beer and Liquor signs hanging on the walls.

Pros: Great Staff, Inexpensive, Great Menu

Cons: No Sports Memorabilia, All Beer Signs
