Stow Lake Boat and Bike Rentals is a prefect location to rent a paddle boat for your family member, pets or significant other. This location is known as a romantic place to take your date. Guests can enjoy Stow Lake by car, by foot, by bike, paddle boat or row boat.
I am a fan of Stow Lake I've grew up going there every weekend with my family. Now! I bring my family there to experience what my dad has given to me as a little girl. Highly recommend taking your family there.

Me and my kids love Stow Lake. We love to rent a boat and just ride around and relax and inhale the scenery. It's beautiful and serene. Great place to just relax and enjoy. Highly recommend.

Stow Lake is such a nice place to spend the day. When I go I like to rent a boat, and just spend as much time as I can on the lake. I am so glad that we have a rental place too enable me to relaxe on the lake.

I LOVE Stow Lake. It definitely is a great way to relax and escape the city feel. It is located inside Golden Gate Park. They offer various rentals. I really like the pedal boats but there are also motor ones. The stuff is kind of on the old side but its a relatively cheap activity. I recommend getting picnic type food and eating it out on the lake in the boat. It makes for a great day! The bikes are also very cool because they have 6 person bikes.

Your bicycle is a target for thieves but they don't tell you that until you're charged $150 for a junky old bicycle. Very rude and said the lock (cheap) was never protection from thieves and bikes are stolen all the time by the homeless. My advice : Rent from a bike shop nearby for quality and enjoyment!!
Cons: Unfriendly Untrained Staff

I've rented bikes here twice. Nice people, mellow. Just make sure to get there before 4:45 PM. They're sticklers about renting out bikes to an hour before their closing -- 6 PM. I prefer these guys to the Blazing Saddles place at Pier 41. You can read about my negative Pier 41 rental experience under their listing.
Pros: Nice people.
Cons: Don't rent out bikes after 4:45 pm.
