Nestled in the midst of the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, BOA Steakhouse brings you traditional steakhouse dishes. Our menu includes traditional cuts prepared with the Boa's signature sauces, plus an expanded selection of seafood and wines by the glass. BOA Steakhouse transforms the conventional steakhouse concept from a stodgy culinary antique to a dynamic expression of traditional and contemporary American cuisine. We cater to a hip crowd with a vibrant decor and sexy lighting and also to the serious steak lover.

Editorial by Citysearch

In Short
Trendy shoppers, well-to-do couples in designer fashions and the likes of George Clooney and Charlize Theron dine at this upscale steakhouse. Dim lighting permeates the amber dining room which features Strip views, leather booths and couches, centuries-old driftwood and stainless-steel decor. Maine lobster, Kobe beef, the signature 40-day dry-aged New York strip and other prime cuts are prepared on an 1,800-degree grill and dressed in homemade sauces like a smoky cabernet reduction.

Key Points

  • Great views of the Strip
  • Private parties

BOA Steakhouse is okay if you're looking for ambiance or quality.

by Elizabeth T. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 805

The ambience is totally worth walking in and looking around. It looked like a burnout petrified forest and very creppie sheik. You also have to walk into the bathroom it's also gothic and interesting. The food is not worth the price. The steaks we had were the same we would have gotten anywhere for much less. It's cool if you are looking for ambiance but don't expect to food to wow you. The serve was fine.

Elegant dining

by Melissa C. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 5,031

We had a very good experience dining here. I had salmon, a salad and side of vegetable. My partner had a steak which had a special rub, which he said was cooked perfectly, and a side of potatoes. We shared the sides. The service was excellent and the restaurant is beautiful

WoW, This place is good!

by SpaceBug

My husband had a $12 Burger that was delish with a fresh spring salad that he surprising enjoyed. I was a little more adventurous, I had the $45 stimulus special (no joke) The yummiest flaky rolls, Saut?ed French onion soup, Filet minion medallions, mashed potatoes, Cinnamon sugar donut holes with dunking sauces. It was the best meal I had all year, and the extra perks, I dropped my fork and the bus boy ran over with a new fork instantly, when we were finished, the second we set our napkins on the table the bus boy brought our bill. This was big for me, I hate sitting and waiting for the bill, I want to leave as soon as I?m done eating. Constant refills on tea, the second I had my last sip of beer I was offered another. They were very attentive, and are plates were clean as bone when left. A+++

Pros: We cleaned our plates

Cons: high priced wines and beers

LOVE BOA!

by cdenny53179

We went to BOA during our honeymoon. We started out the evening by talking to one of the chef's of the evening who made some excellent recommendations. Followed by a visit from Sherman who recommended some things from Sushi Roku's menu since we told our waiter we were big sushi fans. Sherman was extremely helpful and personable, as was everyone we dealt with. Next Brian, the manager of the evening, came over to recommend a Scotch for my husband and let him try a couple to help him make a decision. The food was beyond our expectations on all fronts from the sushi starters to the delightful dessert. We had the Cesaer salad, John Dory, the bone-in filet, chipotle dusted corn, lobster mashed potatoes, and banana cake for dessert.

Pros: the food, the service

Cons: the location

Walked out before even dining

by yar444

Too many other great restaurants in Vegas to be bothered with this pompous and condescending place no matter how their food is. Reservations mean nothing at BOA even if you make them a month in advance and confirm. The staff and manager there seem to forget the premise that you are the customer and paying for this experience, rather they give you the impression they are doing you a favor to allow you to dine with them. If you want to go to BOA to be seen and are willing to accept attitude and substandard service this may be your place but I walked out even before entering after the rudeness we experienced from the hostess and manager. What a waste of prime space in the Forum Shops area !!

Favorite Steakhouse!

by vegasmartini15

BOA Steakhouse is my favorite restaurant, that and Delmonico Steakhouse, and is absolutely wonderful! If you want a $5.99 all-you-can-eat buffet, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for an upscale, classy, elegant dining experience, head here. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. Some may consider it pricy, but I consider it money well sent. We enjoyed it so much, we plan on returning everytime we visit Vegas. We had soup and salad, steak, lobster, and every sides (shared),. and dessert. We also had martinis and a bottle of wine. Plan to stay a few hours to really enjoy the whole experience!

Pros: Truly fine dining

Cons: none

please dont go here

by htowncharly

We had the worst experience here. This place is an imposter. Trying so hard to be hip, and falling flat on it's face. The food is mediocre at best, and the service staff is unorganized and sans ettiquette. They all huddled around the service stations and talked too loudly right by our table. The wore no smiles, and were not graceful in the dining room. It was like watching monkeys try to wait tables. The food is the biggest culprit in this subterfuge of a restaurant. The plates looked sloppy, and the sides were just plain not good. Ive never had such poorly cooked asparagus, it was burnt and limp. The cocktails are a big scam too. They were like 14 bucks and they all were way too sweet and unbalanced in flavor. Their signature cocktail; BOA fusion, tasted like brown sugar and too much rum. It was actually kinda gross. About the service: Our waiter was high faluting, and pushy. He tried the hard sell on us for the wine, and got snobby when we declined. Once he took our order we didnt see him again until he brought the check. His assistant did all the work, and the assistant was very unpersonable. He said nothing to us. Save your money and go to another place. Save yourself the hassle. This place is bad.

Excellent customer service

by victoriaqqq

Having dinner at Boa steakhouse was an excellent experience. I had the petite filet mignon and my husband had the rib eye. Both were very very good and cooked exactly to order. You can get steaks with a rub or sauce or your choice. What we liked was that even though they were some fancy dishes on the menu, they also had the simple steakhouse items like fries, mashed potatoes, grilled veggies, etc. which suited our tastes better. The waiter provided excellent service and once he found out that we had just gotten married that day, he offered to take a picture and the restaurant even gave us free dessert. The manager Eric was also especially pleasant and attentive making sure we were enjoying ourselves. On top of the great food and service, they really made us feel special on our special day.

stop! it's no good!

by owellesw

Came here once in March of '05. It was really good. My most recent visit was like going to a totally different restaurant. Our waiter "Grant" was completely unfriendly and regarded us as if he had sized us up as a table not worth his complete attention. The food was nothing even resembling what we had the first time. They must have changed chefs or maybe downgraded the quality of ingredients or something. The steaks were prepared fine, but the prices were higher. The Caesar salad was horrible. Truly an affront to good taste. Unbalanced in flavor and kinda gritty. Prepared tableside by our waiter who might as well have been a wet mop, he barely said anything to us as he rushed through the salad preparation. The side dishes were all out of whack. Asparagus: Overcooked. Mushrooms: Undercooked Mashed Potatoes: Flavorless.
The cocktails were good, and the wine list is impressive but, big deal. There are a lot of great bars in Las Vegas. Dessert was way below average. I heard so much about the donut holes, and they come out burnt. Literally burnt. They tried to hide it with the cinammon sugar they toss them in. Deplorable. The creme brulee was average at best. Ours even had a soggy patch on top. This is not cool. When we told our server about it, he said with a completely insincere smile "I'm so sorry about that." Of course nothing was done about it. It was really a disappointing experience. I will never go back, or reccomend this place to my friends, or accept an invitation to this place. In fact I will try to talk anyone out of going there if I get the chance.

Best Steak!!

by ACMilan21

The decor is amazing and the service was exceptional! We asked our waiter questions about the new development on the strip and he was attentive to get them all answered. This place is extremely expensive but well worth it if you want to splurge. The Boa Infusion martini is the best martini I've ever had! The only negative thing I would say is I did find a couple shells in my crab salad.

Pros: Exceptional Service, Amazing Food, Ambience

This BOA will Squeeze every penny out of your wallet! Do Not Go Here!

by damiencaz666

We are from Boston and love to eat at great places. We do not mind spending high prices on food, the martinis are $15 each, not a big deal... The place has a cool hip atmosphere, very nice.

Here is the problem. I ordered a Filet ($44) and a lobster tail with that (on the menu it said market price) When the bill came, my meal ALONE cost $119!

The lobster tails (just the lobster tail, not the entire lobster) are $75 each, but on the menu it says Market. I asked the waiter when we got the bill why my meal was so high and he told me they charge a flat rate of $75 per lobster tail, he also admitted that it was very high.

My point. If they have a flat fee on something, it should be stated in the menu. They lie to their customers by omission - I would never go here again and will do anything I can so they stop doing this to other people.

Pros: Cool hip place

Cons: $75 per lb for lobster. You better have done good at the tables before you go here!

Can't Wait To Go Back

by bocablonde

I was here in Nov 2007 for my "wedding reception". I had a small wedding, so 6 of us went to dinner here to celebrate. It was the perfect choice. I absolutely loved it. The decor was very nice, the yellow label champagne was delicious. We had an attentive waiter with a sense of humor. The portions were nice and large. The sides definitely feed 3 people. I wish there were more places in Florida like this steak house. Meat eaters rejoice!

Pros: Delicious food, great service, good location

Cons: It's a bit noisy

Potatoes, Petite Filet, Donuts

by julianerulz

Ok. i know its a steakhouse, and the steaks are absolutley wonderful. However, short of selling my first born child, i would do anything for the bacon cheddar mashed (they might call them smashed) potatoes. I was there Monday night and I cant stop thinking about them. I also loved loved loved my petite filet. It was perfectly sized so i could devour my potatoes and dessert. My husband had theporterhouse and it was huge. If you go, you must try (did i mention the potatoes) the donut holes. i know everyone has them it seems but these were heavenly and the light brown sauce was divine! Plus our waiter was really nice to us! I am really trying to talk my husband into going to the one in LA but i heard that they dont have the donuts. Darn. :)

Pros: Food is delicious, staff, view

Cons: pricey but not for vegas

I have to say...I had the best Filet that I have ever had at BOA!! AMAZING...the appetizers were great, the bread and butter were evern delicious. The steak was so flavorful and tender. The ambiance is very nice, and they have an excellent outside dining area overlooking the strip. I will definitely come back to BOA.

Almost didn't go.

by andrewlv

I almost didn't go to Boa based on two of the reviews I read. But we decided we wanted to try it so we went. The atmosphere was nice, as were the staff. The Captain (like an advanced waiter) was very knowledgeable about every dish on the menu, and the waiter never let our drinks get empty. This is one of those restaurants where you can spend a decent amount of money, or A LOT of money. All depends on what you drink. I went there with my fiance, I got the NY Strip, she got the chicken breast. We started with a salad which we split because it was big enough, and ordered a side of mashed potatoes which we also split. We drank soft drinks instead of alcohol, and were completely full by the end of the meal. Our bill was $95, which was right around what I'd expected. The food was excellent, perfectly cooked, and very well portioned. I would go again.

Pros: Excellent food, knowledgeable staff, prompt service.

Cons: Expensive drinks, most bar drinks were $14.

by alligoodfam

My wife and I went to Boa after reading a few reviews on this restaurant. Sadly dissappointing. The atmosphere and the service was adequate. Management was very pompous. Our bill was a whoppoing $380, for the two of us. We both had steak, both of which were not cooked properly and served with french fries. The meals were accompanied with burnt asparagus. All in all a very unappetizing meal. We chose to eat dessert elsewhere.

Pros: Waiter knowledgeable

Cons: Food poor

I was very disappoined with Boa. We started our 4 night stay in Vegas at Boa. The service was terrible, the food was terrible and the waitresses were snobs. The next mornig we were sick that we spent that much money for all of that. Save the money you might spend there for the slots. You can thow it away without indigestion! We were with a friend who tipped the hostess as we arrived to "take care of us." I mean, no special treatment but a little attention. I don't think she ever came back to our table. I, and my husband had to put in into our napkin someting we ate. ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Things got better the next 3 nights but the first one , at Boa,was a waste of time, money and anticipattion.

Impeccable service, great steaks and chic ambience!

by kalinka

We went to BOA on a thursday nite before out 10:30pm show. It wasn't very crowded. Food was fantastic, I had petite filet and boyfriend bone-in filet. Both were delicious. Crab cake appetizer was yummy too. OUr waitress was amazing. The service was fabulous. Chic decor with dark wood, cozy booths. This place had it all, will definitely go back! Oh, PS - the brownie sundae was nothing special...if you want chocolate I'd suggest try something else.

Pros: Flawless service, great steaks & food. Good for couples or a group of guys

Cons: we went in the front door and had to hike all thru the Forum to get to it. not really a con.

Spectacular View, Excellent Food and Service

by garrettlawson

From the moment I walked in the door, I loved this place. The view from the patio is spectacular and the atmosphere is upscale and fun. The meal can not be beat. My steak was perfect, the table-side Caesar is the best salad I have ever had, and the sides are so rich. The staff is very friendly and professional. One of the best experiences I have ever had, I felt like royalty and will absolutely return on my next trip.

Friendliest, guest orientated steakhouse in town. Not intimidating or uptight, Staff catering to your every need. The decor is ultra hip in a "Dining with Nature" sort of way, which entails intriguing drift wood trees over 800 yrs. old, red lanterns that hang above creating a red moonlight effect, hip sounds to boot. The service and impeccible food can't be matched. Indulging every sense imaginable when you opt to dine on one of their outdoor verandas, with a Las Vegas Strip View that can only be described as surreal! Loved it and look forward to many return visits. Try the "Boa 405" best drink ever.

OK FOOD, GREAT SERVICE

by talldiner

We ate here April Fools Day 2006, nice place, it looks better on the web site than it does live, If you are eating indoors, there is no view, just a peak out the window. however, great service, very friendly, not snooty, great shrimp kabobs, nice drinks. We had tix to Elton John at 7-30 pm, waiter(s) helped us get there by serving quick, and actually walking us out the door with directions, NICE!

by lenan4fun

It was late, we had no reservations anywhere, and I wanted a nice sit down dinner. We were promptly sat when we arrived at a table with a beatuiful view. The restaraunt had a wonderful decor. I felt the service was great even being as late as it was, the menu had wonderful choices and I highly recocomend their steaks. The only advice that I can give is that their salads could be a little better for the prices. The view of the strip from the balcony is beautiful so when the weather is warm, try to request a table out there.

We had a reservation for a Saturday night for 2 people and even when we arrived we had to wait 25 minutes. It took 10 minutes just for them to ask us if we wanted water. Then it took awhile to take our order. The Caeser salad and the BOA Chop Salad were awful. They wery soggy and had no taste! The steaks were pretty good, but i have had better and at a cheaper price!

Pleasure seekers Utopia

by thefrankg

This place is crazy good. My waiter said, "Best steaks in town." It was all I could do to stop from laughing in his face. When dinner was over, he had the last laugh. These steaks were LITERALLY melting in my mouth. Chef Aleman does exactly what a steakhouse chef should do: Have a kick-ass appetizer menu. The "Goat cheese begneit" is the most delightful thing to eat. Ever. "Prime beef two ways" is excellent and a perfect way to sample the high quality beef at BOA. To talk about the wine list would be smug. Just check it out, as well as the exceptional cocktail list. These will blow your mind. I guarantee you have never tried anything like them. GO TO BOA.

A Great Dining Experience

by 1shotnlife

I live in Las Vegas and like most locals am the benefactor of an extremely competitive steakhouse environment. Last night was my first time eating at BOA and was impressed by the attention to detail put into everything from the service to the excellent food. Tucked away on the new level in the Forum shops at Caesars, it was an extremely enjoyable dining experience as I ate the best steak of my life. I was also impressed that Tony Fisher, the General Manager of BOA's, came out to personally ask how our dining experience had been. No conversation about Las Vegas's best steakhouses can be complete without mentioning BOA's.

great dinner as well as ambience

by margie2265

we just had dinner here this last weekend while we were in Vegas. the decor is really beautiful, from the wine rack to the stripped tree trunks throughout the place. the servers were really nice and attentive, always refilling our drinks and cleaning out empty plates. i had the surf and turf: kobe steak and lobster. while the steak came out a little more cooked than i had requested, it was nonetheless really tender and flavorful. the horseradish potatoes were a bit on the cheesy side for my taste. for dessert we had the apple turnover and the chessecake, not bad.

Great Dining Experience

by vegasbh

I lived in Las Vegas for almost a year now, and Boa is by far the best dining experience I've had while here. I had family in town for the weekend and wanted to take them somewhere special. Not only is the food excellant, but the view really made our dinner an experience that was uniquely Vegas. Often times you must compromise food quality for a great view, but not at Boa. All employees were extremely accomidating and made sure we enjoyed our experience from the time I made the reservation until the time we left. I highly reccommend sitting outside on the balcony. They have heaters during cooler months, so you can still enjoy sitting outside.

Good food, poor service

by zareta

We went to Boa first weekend of October. It was supposed to be special family reunion dinner. The first disappointment was they lost our reservation. The steaks were served without the side dishes. Some of them arrived twenty minutes after when we were done with steaks. And Im not even talking about bread, which has never been served. We havent seen our waiter since he took the order and only the bus boy was trying to make us happy. After all of this the manager apologized and served complimentary dessert and coffee. We got the check and the side dishes were waived but 20% tip was included. When we were leaving the restaurant I had a feeling that everybody is hiding from us in the kitchen. Our special family event turned to very casual dinner for $400 + 20% tip. Ive got to say Ive had better experience at Dennys.

Pros: Great food

Cons: Customer Service

What a view! Service so so

by highmarked

The view from the patio is amazing! There are just a few tables out on the patio and they face south towards the Bellagio. The steaks we had were excellent, but the side dishes left some room for improvement. We tried the fries, mac 'n' cheese, mashed potatoes, and the mushrooms...all were average. Our service was not all that good compared to some other experiences, but our water glasses always stayed full. Overall a good experience but definitely for special occasions.

Fabulous dining!!

by tdahlin

My famiily was in LV for my father's 60th birthday and we choose BOA Steakhouse for the big dinner. We had twelve people at dinner and an excellent wait staff. The wait staff was very attentive from keeping our water glasses full, removing our empty dishes and dinner plates to making sure everyone had a fresh drink in front of them. The restaurant itself was cozy and comfortable with great decor and a wonderful ambience. The food...I don't even know where to begin. Everything on the table was delicious from the filet mignon to the lobster to the garlic mashed potatoes. I am from Chicago where we are plentiful with steakhouses, but BOA Steakhouse definitely ranks at the top. Next time we are in LV, we will definitley be dining here again.

I was here recently as part of a group of 20 and found the whole experience amazing.
The food was fantastic and service impecable. The staff were incredibly courteous. The views from the balcony were second to none. Coming from the L.A. area I am a regular, but when I am Vegas I put Boa on my must do list. I love this place. The food, service and ambience are the best of any steakhouse I have ever been too, (and Im a carnivore). The Vegas location is the best by far, you have to check out the view for yourself, its almost as good as the steak.

I have frequented several of the finer restaurants in Las Vegas and Boa Steakhouse is the best. The food, service and atmosphere were absolutely perfect. I can't wait to go again.

Pros: service, atmosphere, food

not your grandmother's steakhouse

by lexilew

My husband and I entertained guests from out of town last week. We were recommended to Boa Steakhouse from our neighbors. We had an incredible time. The atmosphere was very hip yet professional. The service was impecable without being stuffy. The wine list is fun and extremely approachable. The steaks were out of this world, tender, flavorful and well worth the ticket price. Thank you Boa for making our experienca a memorable one. Keep up the good work and we'll see you soon.

Pros: ambience, value, fun factor

Best New Steak in Town

by stevegoldeneye

We are from NYC and frequent most steakhouses both at home and in Las Vegas. Enjoyed Boa last night at the recommendation of the Belagio Concierge. Wow. Had to be one of the best NY Steaks I've ever had. Perfectly seasoned and not smothered in an unnecessary sauce or butter. The Caesar salad was great as were the side dishes. The wine list had a lot to offer and we sampled many different labels by the glass. Boa needs to open up in New York.

We'll be back.

Pros: Steak, View of Strip, Outdoor Patio
