Fruition Day Spa

This is a nice, small local place, easy to get to. Staff is friendly and helpful. I've tried several different types of massages, including pre-natal, and have always had a good experience. I've referred a couple people who have also returned. I like that you can stay with one massage therapist, instead of having a ton of different people or a big turnaround in employees. You do have to call in advance as they book up quick.

I go there when I need a stress reliever - massage. Been going for the past couple of years. When I get there, I immediately relax because it's warm and smells plesantly nice. Very nice staff. I've already recommended it to my family and friends.

Cons: Parking. Metered in the neighborhood.

My experience at Fuition Day Spa was more than I expected. They are prompt, friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is relaxing. Their hours of operation allow more time to enjoy the benefits of their excellent service.

One Sunday afternoon I had a body wrap and wondered why I hadn't done it before. It was all that I expected and more. It was relaxing, refreshing, rejuvenating and I told all my friends that to relax and relieve the day to day stress, they should go to Fruition Spa. Excellent services and everyone is very attentive. Thanks Fruition!

Fruition Day Spa's atmosphere is lovely, and SOME of the staff members are terrific. I've had both great and awful experiences there. They recently sent an email blast asking clients to post great reviews in return for discounts...strikes me as a bit tacky.

Pros: A couple of the technicians are really skilled and lovely.

Cons: Others are just plain awful.

Bikini waxes don't have to hurt - that should be Fruition's motto. I used to go to Silk for my bikini waxes and one day when they couldn't see me, I found Fruition. I will never again go anywhere else for a wax! I took my friend for her first ever bikini wax and she was amazed at the fact that it didn't hurt. Yes - they are that good! Plus, the staff is super friendly and they never make you feel uncomfortable. I tell all my friends that this is the best place. I love me some Fruition!

When I moved to SF last year it was so difficult to find a place that did a spray on tan, most of the places I found were downtown and parking is too difficult down there or if I found some place close it was way too overpriced. However, a month ago I went on citysearch and tried to find some place close by and Fruition Day Spa came up. I've been going to this spa for a few weeks now to get a spray on tan and it is great! Not orange at all, and the price is pretty reasonble for san francisco, they also have packages which make it even more afforable. It has never streaked and the lady that does my tan is very professional and nice. Even more parking is really easy in west portal and the spray on tan only takes 20 mins. I would recommned this spa for a spray on tan to any of my friends, or anyone who else is looking to get some color in this (most of the time) sunless city!

Pros: Parking/Nice Staff/Tan wasn't orange or streaky/No sales pressure.

Love this place! The best wax for brazilians in town! Would go there again. However, stay away from the wraps.. everything else, facials, massages are great.

I finally found a place to get a massage without having to drive downtown and deal with traffic/parking. This cute and small boutique spa is wonderful. I had a 50 minute swedish massage and have to say it was one of the best I have ever had (and, I have had a ton!). It was fairly easy to park. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles (shower/sauna) of what a hotel spa does but the massage therapist was amazing. I loved how when she started she put a hot towel on my shoulders. When she rubbed my arms that was the best!!! I highly recommend this place for a massage. The prices are o.k. Wish they were a little cheaper.

Kim gives amazing facials, but what I regularly visit her for is waxing. She does such a wonderful job, and it's as painless as possible! She's super friendly and makes me feel completely comfortable.

As a spa junkie, I wanted to try out Fruition since it was one of the top ten spa of Citysearch.

I had a Fruition Signature Facial. I heard fancy words like "rose cleanser" and "organic products". My facialist and everyone I came in contact with were extremely friendly. I think thats why a lot of people liked this place, it's not a snooty uptown spa. Its a tiny, cute little spa... but nothing special to come back to.

Why don't I give this place the same props as everyone else who is in love with it?

I know other places that can give a similar facial, at half the price. Many places, actually, can give you a facial like this.. because its very basic. In fact, other places offer things like a special mask, extractions, oxygen, etc.. that this facial was lacking.

If I'm going to pay the price similar to an uptown spa, I expect uptown spa quality. And thats what this place was missing..

Its probably hard to notice in such a busy street and many shops across West Portal. But this boutique spa is wonderful. The front desk service is EXCELLENT! Starts on-time, clean, and very relaxing massages. Jennifer gave me a swedish massage and is very gentle, hands were always warm, and very oriented to the customer's needs.

This is a good place to go for massages. I will definitely recommend it and come back.

I got the Aromatherapy Massage and the Sugar Delight Body Scrub, and they were both great! Fruition offered these two special services during Spa Week...such a great deal! Everyone was really friendly.

I can't even describe how great this massage was. Well worth the money. Talking to my friend shortly after, she said, "You have never sounded so euphoric!" I've never felt so euphoric. I can't wait to get another!

The staff are personable and professional and very accomodating. They are open 7 days a week and until 8:00 p.m. during the week. This makes booking an appointment very easy. They offer a very relaxing atmosphere and can compete with any of the downtown spas.

I have been getting massages at Fruitition for about 6 months now, and love the pampering! I have searched for someone who could give a good deep massage in a clean, relaxing atmosphere and was so happy to find Deborah at Fruititon. It is time and money well spent to ensure great physical and mental health. The location and parking availability is also a really nice plus!

I love this spa, I've been going to it for years and tell all my friends about it. No attitude, just atmosphere. The staff is there for you to make your time special and worth while. I always leave there wishing I could stay a little bit longer!

I have had several massages at Fruition Day Spa, and the skill level is awesome. It ranks up there with Sonoma Mission Inn and Canyon Ranch based upon their professionalism, ability, and comfort level. I was totally spoiled for those 80 minutes!

As soon as I walk in there I begin to relax. The atmosphere is very soothing and the staff is great. I get waxes and massages there regularly and love it. I also love that I don't have to drive downtown to pamper myself. After a 90 minute massage, I can be home in 5 minutes.

I found Fruition shortly after it opened last year and have been a loyal convert ever since. It has a lovely atmosphere that immediately puts me in "spa mode" as soon as I walk in the door. All of the staff are pleasant, friendly, and most importantly good at what they do. I get regular waxing and splurge for massages and facials and have enjoyed all of my treatments. My favorite has been the hot stone massage. I have also recommended Fruition to many of my friends who have been equally pleased with their experiences. It is truly a West Portal gem - you will not be disappointed!

I really needed a vacation from my vacation so I booked a facial/massage combo package and was it ever worth it! Kim gives a fantastic facial and Sarah a relaxing massage. It has great ambiance, the staff makes you feel welcome and the prices are not crazy. I most definitely will return.

This was one of the best massages I have ever gotten in my life. I was so relaxed, I almost fell asleep. I was greeted right went I walked in the spa. They were very warm, calm, and very inviting. Everything seemed so peaceful. I came out of there feeling so relaxed and ready to start the day over. Keep in mind, I went there at 6 pm after work. It was GREAT. I will definitely go back there.

It's been a stressful year and I made a commitment to de-stress by treating myself to Fruition's Perfect Combination (a Facial and Massage) every other week. These ladies make a huge difference in my outlook. Melisa and Sarah are the BEST! And the prices are totally reasonable for the service you receive. I personally refer my friends to them all the time.

From the moment I walked into Fruition I was greeted with warm smiles and attentive service. The facial was great and I learned so much about my skin from the esthetician. I next received a fabulous massage and the therapist was really able to focus on my trouble spots. I highly reccommend this great spa.

I got the Green Coffee wrap and it did nothing! First of all, they don't even put it all over your body and second of all it didn't feel like anything. Save your money and your time!

Bettina provided the service for my rose pedicure and helpful suggestions. I don't know if it really does anything for dry skin (or any of these treatments really) but it was relaxing. You are taken into the back to change into a robe/slippers; then taken to another place for your soaking/scrub. After, you go back to the room; lie on treatment table w/an aromatic pillow over your eyes and get clipped, cuticles trimmed, rough spots filed, massaged and a masque before your color. It was about an hour or so. It's not cheap.

The owner is friendly, and the staff is warm and helpful. I was greeted with smiles before I was finished opening the door! Hours of research leave me tense--but a massage and a tan help me dream of far-away beaches. Check it out!
