Aardvark Moving

My first experience using movers was very bad w/Aardvark but was saved by A Better Move. I set my appt with Aardvark several weeks in advance after reading many great reviews and receiving there low quote. When my moving day arrived, I waited for an hour and a half before I called the office to question why no one had showed up. When I called the person who answered my call couldn't find my quote in their system at all and had to call me back. When she called me back she was very appologetic and said that if I had time they could be out later that day and said she would discount my quote. However, the discount she was willing to give me was for the same amount my quote was originally for! When the movers showed up they were from another moving company-A Better Move- and they were GREAT. However, when it came time to pay at the end of the move, they were never given the fixed quote that I had been given and were to charge whatever they would have quoted the move to be--and this is after I had been told that I would get a discount off my 'fixed' quote for the unprofessionalism! Luckily, the guys from A Better Move were great and said they would stick to what I had been quoted and eat the difference. Advice to the wise:If you're going to hire local movers go with A Better Move-the name says it all. They saved my move!!

after my movers that i initially hired didn't show up, i called aardvark at the last minute and they came through.....they took great care with my breakables in moving them out and into a storage facility; i'll def be using them again to move into my new place; i'd recommend them to anyone based on the combination of quality service, low cost, and being on time.....also, for anyone using a uhaul, by the time you get done buying your friends/relatives dinner for helping you move, you might as well have used aardvark and get it done faster and spend about the same amount.

Just want to say thanks for the easiest move I've ever experienced - and I've had more than my fair share. I only wish I would've found Aardvark sooner. Andre and his partner were friendly and professional. They worked hard and moved quickly, even though it was HOT. They took great care with all of my belongings and were able to fit everything into my small storage unit. I chose Aardvark for their competitive price, but would return for the great service. I recently had a bit of a panicked situation in which I needed a large piece of furniture moved within one day. Aardvark worked me into their schedule, and Andre and another mover were at my apartment within two hours. I highly recommend using Aardvark for your next move!

My husband and I struggled with the idea of hiring movers for our move from Austin to Lago Vista. At first we chose to use Aardvark because of their reasonable price and excellent customer service. Now, we are lifers. When our movers, Andre and Cleo, showed up we were pleased to meet two fine young men; they were both very professional and courteous throughout the entire process. By the time they were done they had worked a full day moving us into our new home, endured over 100 degree heat and were successful in preventing any damage to ALL of our belongings. These two young men never once stopped to take anything more than a quick water break. I am pleased to say that my experience with them has convinced me to never use another moving company again. Thanks Andre and Cleo, we are forever grateful!
