Checked a business colleague in on Oct. 2nd and presented my company credit card for ""incidentals"". Reception staff stepped away and came back and entered the credit card information manually as they said they were having trouble swiping the card. Within two hours my card was fraudulently charged over $1,000 in merchandise from an APPLE, Nike and sporting goods store. I've had to cancel my card and contest the charges. A great hassle. \r\nWill never book any of my colleagues there again. \r\nPlease be forewarned.

The entire staff went out of their way to accommodate our every request - paper bag snacks, yummy breakfasts with Andy and his crew, full access to the meeting room, providing towels for the boys to go swimming, collecting emails/faxes and passing them on to us - the list is endless and every day we were greeted with big cheery smiles from all Ramada Staff! Andy provided us with such delicious food to start our days ? what fun the kids had. After 4 years visiting, for me to walk into the Ramada is like coming home.

Christian at the Front Desk was friendly and very welcoming upon check-in. I was impressed that he recalled my earlier (and very first) stay in May 2010. Having worked in the Hospitality industry for many years, it is my professional opinion that he is an asset to this hotel. I wish they would upgrade their ""high speed"" internet service. Much. Too. Slow. Otherwise, a very enjoyable stay.

On the positive side, the front desk staff was incredibly helpful. One of the clerks typed up some notes for me because I didn't have a computer and couldn't fax my illegible, handwritten notes. That favor was way above any service I'd ever received in any hotel in the world. If I remember correctly, her name was Christina. For her and the entire front desk staff alone, I would definitely come back to this hotel. They were all helpful, friendly and super kind. Their professionalism was beyond any I've ever experienced. I was dissatisfied with the parking arrangements. There was no entrance directly from the garage into the hotel. I had to seek out stairways, wind my way down step stairs and exit into the first floor parking area in order to get into the hotel. In addition to this inconvenience, I paid $27/day which was over 25% of my daily rate for my room. That's outgrageous. The other negative was that my room had a bad smell in it. Not sure what it was, staleness or muskiness, but noticably bad.

Very prompt with my request for extra pillows. Very good job by the housekeeping staff! Christina at front desk was very helpful and provide excellent customer service. She is a STAR!

We travel to L.A. each year and stay at Ramada Plaza, West Hollywood and have watched the renovations progress. It looks great now and is good value for money. We will continue to stay and recommend the hotel to friends and associates. I only wish they would provide a guest services directory in each room. There was not one in either of the rooms I booked this trip. The guest laundry requires 28 quarters to wash and dry a load of laundry, so make sure you have plenty of quarters if you plan to do any laundry.

The hotel was great and the staff at check-in were helpful and friendly. However, the cleaners were often very noisy in the morning, making sleep difficult. In addition check-out was slow and the concierge was not very helpful. Overall though, this hotel was one of the best encountered during my 3 week vacation.

All of the Front Desk Staff was extremely helpful and nice. The only reason I didn't give a perfect rating to the overall experience was the parking charge. I think it is way too high. I know that is prime parking, however, hotel guests should get a break...or at least offer it at a lower cost.

Jose was excellent, very friendly and extremely informative. Worth his weight in gold. Only thing I would recommend is stocking Tap cards for public transport etc and or bus maps. As alot of tourists most likely stay in this hotel their ability to get information about public transport is important.

What a fantastic location, on the strip too! I couldn't think of anywhere cooler and more convenient to stay in Hollywood then WeHo Ramada. It made taking meetings easy and professional and being social a lot of fun. I very much look forward to visiting again on a regular basis

I have enjoyed staying at this hotel for the last 15 years and found it to be convenient, enjoyable, and good value for the money. My only complaint is the cost of parking which is extremely high in comparison with the value of the room rates.

From the sidewalk, after being dropped off by the shuttle service in front of the hotel, I found it very confusing as to\nwhere the office was. I walked around, lugging all my luggage until I finally found the lobby entrance, which was located in the parking garage. All of this would have been avoided though, had the shuttle service dropped me off in front of the office rather than on the street. I highly recommend signage out front, as to where the lobby is located, because it would definitely be helpful to others that may be dropped off street-side. The concierge and front desk staff were EXTREMELY helpful and pleasant!! They took care of our every want and need and deserve praise for a job well done!! I was very pleased with my Ramada West Hollywood experience and truly enjoyed my stay, wishing it could have been longer!!!

The two concierges we dealt with at the Ramada Plaza West Hollywood were excellent. Their names are Hugo and Jose. Both were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and made it possible for us to locate shops and best routes (and transport) to different destinations, in addition to the assistance they provided with limo and taxi hire. The service we received from them was outstanding, five-star. My wife and I hope that hotel management will acknowledge and reward both Hugo and Jose for their excellent work.

The hotel is in great location and the staff is very attentive - it is evident that all aspects of the facility are well maintained and managed. One suggestion - all guest room lights are very low voltage and as a result, the room is quite dark - could stand to mix this lighting with some brighter lights. Overall - I'd stay here again.

I don't know his name, I think it's middle eastern or Russian,
but the guy at the front desk was extremely helpful.
When I got back home and realized I left my expensive
prescription glasses there I called him. He made several
calls to housekeeping and tracked them down and then had
housekeeping send them to me. If you can figure out
who he is, give him a raise or promotion or both.

...the location!!!\n\nthe hotel itself is pretty standard. it has art deco style interior and the rooms are furnished accordingly. personally i don't like it, to me it made the room seem like there was too much space and not enough stuff in it.\n\nthe staff was pleasant enough, although one of the guys was new and from out of town so he wasn't very helpful with directions or infomation about the city. housekeeping also was sometimes unresponsive to calls or just forgot when we actually talked to someone about getting more sheets.\n\non the plus side, through expedia it was a great deal compared to most of the hotels in the area.
