This is one of my favorite resturants. I have been there several times and never been disappointed. The food and service is great and I can't wait to go back. Their private rooms make it a great place for large parties also.

So far, the most dissapointing high end Steak House in Charlotte (compared to Palm, the other Mortons, Capital Grill, Sullivans etc). After two visits, we won't be returning. The staff was not very attentative, one of the managers seemed to be having their own private party with the guests seated next to us (he hovered over us the entire meal), both of our entree's were just plain dissapointing. My filet, both trips, was severely under-cooked. Yes, I know under-cooked is better than over-cooked, but medium-rare should not be refrigerator-cold in the middle. If this was an isolated case, I would let it slide, but when it happens 100% of my visits, can't forgive. Also, my wife's tuna was riddled with a beef like "grissle". We sent it back, and the second piece was only slightly better. She eats a LOT of premium fish, but this was so tough you could not cut through the "grissle" with a knife, let alone chew it. Very dissapointing they do not have better control over their cooking temps, and the quality of their fish cuts. Go to the Palm or Sullivans if you want a good meal!

Pros: Ritzy, expensive atmosphere

Cons: poor quality all around for the cost
