The Pro Sports Club is a great place to be a member of. This location in particular is a little bit small. Good for those quick workouts. If you were to be a member I would use the Bellevue location. That location is the biggest Sports Club in North America. Its amazing, it has everything you can imagine and everything you can't.

Enjoy a great Seattle view as you work out using top-notch equipment. This fitness facilitiy has a large array of cardio equipment, and a free weight center. Other services include massage and skin care, luxurious locker rooms, a sauna, physical therapy clinic, childcare, and more. This is a great health club and parking is free!

While I was conducting a tour at this facility, I witnessed some pretty ridiculous behavior by some of the staff. One employee (Vanessa, I believe) was rather obnoxious and fully convinced me that I would 1. Not ever become a member of this gym and 2. If I did become a member, I would NOT have any training with her....
As I've read in some of the other reviews, the pricing for this club is way beyond what it should be and the manager there doesn't seem to care at all if people question the price..He seems to think that the club sells itself..What a joke...

PROS: NONE
CONS: Too many to list here...

This is a local gym that is not a part of a big chain, but it tries to be nicer and more luxurios than anything else in town. For the most part, it succeeds. They have very impressive and clean facilities. The towel service is excellent. The locker rooms could be improved though. They are pretty croweded and it is hard to get to your lockers most of the time. They do have built-in combination locks, which is very nice - you don't have to carry a lock around. Showers can also be hard to get to, especially during the peak times. Also, during the peak times, the locker rooms smells very-very bad.

They have three different cardio rooms, one of which is mostly dark room with several TV screens (this way self-concious people don't have to be emberassed of working out). They also have a nice and large weight room with vaulted ceiling. There are lots of machines, bench press stations, free weights, etc. Most of the time, you don't have to wait for a machine.

One of the main complaints (besides the locker rooms) is that there are very few TVs, and most of them are on the sports programs most of them time. That's pretty silly. Not everyone that works out likes watching football.

They have fitness classes, large bascketball/volleyball courts, a swimming pool, saunas, and some other amenities that I don't use a whole lot.

Overall it's not a bad gym, although it could've been better for the money they charge.

PROS: Lots of equipment, three cardio rooms, mostly nice and clean
CONS: Cramped locker rooms, few TVs, pretty expensive

With the expansion, they are just a bit too much. Since Microsoft feeds the Bellevue Location, it seems to just add more and more, while still costing alot for additional services, childcare etc. The facilities are great. The SPA is nice, but they have had a lot of turnover in staff. Overall, if you need a basic workout facility, then this is probably not the place for you. But if you like some glam, and if you work at Microsoft, then you will be right at home!

this is a very good place to sweat. They have jetted tub, sona, tan room, and several swimming pools. They also have a medical center inside, which is helpful if you get an emergency during your workout. The restaturant inside the club offer healthy food. The racket ball exercise room is free for members but you have to pay for booking a tennis court.

This gym has a lot of exercise choices to offer but many classes require additional fees even after you pay for the hefty membership. The tennis initiation fee is especially appalling. I am a frequent swimmer and I find the locker room to be quite stinky. Also, the lap pool is often crowded until after 10pm. Your other choice is to use the family pool if you don't mind mingling with kids when you train. I have no idea why they don't open the other 2 pools during busy time.

If you're serious about working out, and want a one-stop shop for all your fitness needs, the Pro Club is the right gym for you. It has the usual cardio and weight workout facilities, multiple pools, tennis, squash, and racquetball courts, aerobics, yoga, and Pilates classes, along with a restaurant, cafe, and full service hair salon and spa. And did I mention the auto detail service?

They have a specialized weight loss program called 20/20 that has been very successful as well. Nelson is an excellent personal trainer, and Sarah was very helpful as my dietitian, and they introduced me to the 20/20 program without me having to actually enroll in it (which is really expensive unless your insurance pays for it.).

The Pro Club is conveniently located on the Eastside for Microsoft employees, and the hours are good as well (open until 11pm on weekdays). The club recently was remodeled so everything is brand new. It's also very clean and doesn't have that stinky "gym" smell a lot of places have.

Membership is *very* expensive if you don't work for Microsoft (I guess that's how they keep out the riffraff), and it's appalling that you have to pay for any classes given the high cost of membership. But it's an amazing benefit if your company pays for it.

PROS: great facilities, tons of classes, great staff
CONS: expensive, must pay for classes, too many kids around on weekends

Lots of equipment, basketball courts, racquetball courts, a couple of pools, sauna, whirlpool, steam room. The bathrooms are stocked with shaving cream, body/face lotion and mouthwash. Everything is very classy looking. The food at the restaurant and the cafe is pretty reasonable and tasty. I'm not sure how much it costs, because I had a free membership, but it's probably worth it.

I belonged to the Pro Sports Club for several years, and recently cancelled my membership due to the exhorbitant childcare costs. The gym itself is beautiful and clean, with a wonderful, friendly staff. However, the childcare is very pricey, and I just couldn't afford it anymore after I had two kids.

But if you don't then this place might not be your slice of pie. It is loaded with computer types who have very low self esteem. Most of the services are geared towards Microsoft employees. It should be called the Microsoft Gym but the Supersonics train here and Bill Gates does not own them. Good gear, good staff and good services.

We shopped all clubs in Seattle before joining Pro Sports on Eastlake.

The staff is friendly, the equipment and facility is kept in excellent condition, and is CLEAN. Did I mention it is clean? I have no idea about the review that says this place is pretentious, condescending and stuffy - we have found it to be exactly the opposite!

You get what you pay for. Other less expensive places were cheaper, but were just that - cheap. Sorry, I don't want to workout in a stinky place with run down equipment and have to deal with mildew and dirt in the locker rooms.

Finally, the personal trainers are top notch. I was really a mess when I started, with a torn tendon in my foot, and really bad knee and hip pain. I've been working out with Andy Gundel for three months; he is absolutely the best! He has extensive knowledge and a gentle, encouraging style Andy taught me how to stabilize and strengthen muscle groups so I am now practically pain free, while loosing weight and inches.

At 54, I'm in the best shape of my life. Thank you Andy and Pro Sports.

Man, this place is pretentious, condescending, and stuffy. Microsoft PAYS for my membership there, and I still choose to go else where. I like a comfortable, "real" environment. This place does NOT have that. Fine, it's fancy shmancy, but I feel like I have to drive a Benz to be able to make eye contact with anyone. The staff is rude and not helpful.

Don't go to this gym!

I am new in town and have been gym shopping. The facility for ProSports on Eastlake is clean and nice enough. The sales person was friendly and stayed late to accommodate my schedule. My challenge with this option is that they charge extra for each class (spinning, yoga, etc). The monthly fee is reasonable, but I couldn't help but feel that charging me $2.50 per class as a member is nickeling and diming their members. The sales person did not follow up with me after my visit.
