Love the V Bar
The bartenders can make a mean drink! But at the end of the day, it is a Hotel Bar... Ideal for hanging out and having a visit.
There is no boom-chicka-boom madness happening here. If you want to grind that out, go down to the Asian restaurant... you can't miss it.

I stayed here first time. This hotel is gorgeous and the room was very nicely decorated with a comfortable bed. It has a great location and you can easily walk to the nice shops and restaurants. I love this hip hotel bar and courtyard for drinks. A bit noisy at night, but overall I enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to stay with them again in the future.

I found out about this place when my cousin had his engagement party with close friends and family. They provided private area on the top side section of the hotel just for our party. The location was great due to the outdoor and indoor facility for the event. They also had catering provided along with drinks.
PROS: Upscale and great location for formal gatherings
CONS: Rooms are very pricey and parking is limited unless you use the valet service.

Night #1- room way too narrow(less than 24" walkway in front of beds), double mattress on a queen size bed frame(bumped shins On frame corners often), shower head 7'6" tall, shower curtain did reach wall to wall, tub overflow completely missing from tub( got to see into drain system), bathroom door system very loud late at night(wakes partner), and hvac equipment on roof breaking down(loud noise directly overhead................. ...................... .................
Night #2(same visit)- switched rooms, same shower issues, front desk did not allow a roll away bed in room(daughter slept in chair),bathroom door..., and room air conditioner would not cool below 76......................... .............
Night #3(different visit)same shower issues, bathroom door..., cordless bedside phone only worked by speakerphone, tv remote malfunction, and MOST IMPORTANT- A VERY LOUD PARTY ACROSS THE HALL WAS ALLOWED TO CONTINUE FROM
12:30 AM - TILL 1:30AM WHEN I CALLED FRONT DESK AND COMPLAINED.

Pros: location and got free night stay after two nights
Cons: that free night
The staff were very rude and snobby. The location is great though because the hotel is close to numerous shops and restaurants. I thought the hotel was way too overpriced for the mediocre service. The bed was pretty comfortable. I liked the TV in the room. The drinks in the bar are way too overpriced for the quality.

This is one of the newest, hippest hotels around. Very chic, but equally very pricy--expect to pay at least $180 a night.
Staff is distant, especially check in staff.
Rooms are GORGEOUS, and room service is prompt. Great location right on Santana Row, and it's literally next to the best sushi joint you'll ever eat at, Blowfish Sushi to Die For. There's also shopping galore.
You'll have fun here and in the area, just be prepared to spend a bit.

This hotel was very cool! The rooms are impecable with a leather lounge chair, wonderfully soft bed, awesome pool and the amenities were terrific. The free breakfast in the morning topped off a great stay.
