The rooms here are very nice and the employees are customer service oriented. For the price, this is the best hotel in Petaluma hands down. The restaurant has changed over a few times but I have never had a bad meal there.

My wife and I spent our "first night" here after our wedding. We got a suite that overlooked the marina, and the accomodations were wonderful. The view of the 101 freeway was our only criticism. I called the hotel in advance and had them fill the room with champagne and chocolate strawberries before we arrived, and my wife loved it. I would highly suggest you do the same for your first night after geting married, it was a wonderful experience. We had breakfast in the restaruant downstairs here, and the eggs benedict were unreal. So Good!

Falsely Charged Me a $200 Smoking Cleaning Fee

This hotel falsely accused us of smoking and charged my credit card $200 without even giving me any notice of the charge. Luckily I reviewed my credit card statement and caught it. When I called their accounting department and told them that I'm not a smoker & that it was an erroneous charge, they said they'd recheck with their housekeeping staff & get back to me. They got back to me & said it was a valid charge & refused to remove it. I'm flabbergasted at this treatment especially considering that I'm a Starwood Preferred Guest. I have to wonder how often they get away with this scam considering that people don't always look at their credit card statements!
Pros: Wine Tasting set up in the Lobby
Cons: They Falsely Charged me $200 for Smoking in my room...I'm not a smoker!!!

I had a great time for the two nights I spend here. The location is good. Easy to get to mutiply Sonoma County towns. The beds were the best... almost better than mine at home. The price was a little high but everything is pricey in Sonoma.
