Flatotel Deluxe Rooms & Suites

The Flatotel is one of the best hotels that I have stayed at. The reception area is beautifully decorated and the style is unique. It is hard to describe, but it is definitely not your standard hotel chain. The rooms are extremely well equipped. Each room has a work area and the great thing is that there is also an Aeron chair so you can work comfortably. The hotel staff is extremely service-oriented. I've had some problems with various things like no hot water one time and they were extremely accommodating and fixed the problem very quickly. The hotel is in a great location, no far from Times Square, subway lines, and many great restaurants including China Grill and several steakhouses.

I had friends who stayed here during the blackout and they were given the most classy service - food, drinks, and they were quite hospitable even to guests that were not actually staying in the hotel. Top notch!

Flatotel may have a kind of quirky name, but do not let that turn you off from this place, because it really is a gem of a place. They have great packages available for corporate people looking for a hotel in midtown. The location is great for sightseeing as well, because it close to fifth avenue and radio city music hall.
