Knockout did a complete redesign/renovation of our 2 bedroom apartment (approach 1,000 sq-ft). Amazing attention to detail and incredibly responsive. Aside for a couple of minor hiccups (all projects of this scale 'll have 'em), they far exceeded all of our expectations and would immediately turn to them if we were to have any additional renovation needs. These guys are full service -- from creating the design/blueprints to following through in making it exactly as it was planned. Everyone at this company, from the person answering the phone to the owner care and work hard to make one's renovations go smoothly.

The plumbers were the weak link in the service chain. They had to come back and fix everything they did.

Knockout Renovation especially Keith Steier and Michael Palladino is an excellent company that strives to fully satisfy. This was the only company that truly listened to my desires and made sure to explain all possible options and limitations that could lie ahead. They have a trustworthy, courteous and hardworking group of craftsman.
The end was everything and more than I was hoping for. While they were on the higher end pricewise, the cost is worth it in the end.

Please be aware that under Citysearch guidelines one negative review remains, however, we believe the one derogatory review to be from a competitor and not a client. Certainly not from any client in the last two years. We go to great lengths to be an ultra convenient way for our Manhattan and Brooklyn clientel to remodel. We handle design, products and remodeling. Residential interiors are ALL WE DO.

As a former customer of Knockout Renovation I can only agree with the post who suspected the reviews to be fake. I am aware that most customers have a story to tell about their contractors but our stories usually take the prize in every category: completely unreasonable delays, unclear billing, flawed advice as to material selection, unresponsiveness and sloppy implementation. Aside from the fact that the project took more than three times the amount of time scheduled. We are still paying to fix the many mistakes. We have since found a contractor that is all of what Knockout claims to be based on their ads posted above.

Knockout Renovation redid my Kitchen as well as some work in the hallway of my Manhattan Apt. The quality of work was outstanding a little pricy but well worth it. They did a great job , possibly could have been completed in less time but the outcome was worth the wait. Would recommend to a friend.

Sal & Jen were the renovation dream team. Jen's style sense and dedication to our happiness was fantastic. She understood our style sensibility and made adjustments along the process to help us stay on budget and on task. We would highly recommend her counsel.
Sal was an excellent project manager. He recognized that we would be the kind of clients who wanted to be involved in the process. He kept us informed daily and made miracles happen (like our custom granite in 3 days instead of 2 weeks.) Sal adeptly handled any bumps in the road and made the process very cooperative.
Keith, we appreciate your attention to detail and commitment to making us happy. We love every inch of our new kitchen and owe it to you and your team.
