Panchita's is a hole in the wall restaurant away from all the mission commotion! Service is always great; the two ladies there are very friendly and efficient. Food is good as well as the atmosphere. Definitely try their Yuca frita plate with extra curtido or/and their Crab Enchilada's! you won't regret it.

This is salvadorenian restaurant specializing in papusas. It is a tortilla (flour) hand made with stuffing inside. Usually with cheese, cheese and beans or chicken & beans. My favorite is cheese. It is served with a cabbage (like coleslaw) on the side and it is absolutely delicious. The price is very inexpensive and the atmosphere is family oriented and kid friendly.

This is one of my favorite nouveau Salvadorean restaurants. Come to think of it, probably the only one. But don't let that dissuade you from trying the restaurant out. I first came to this restaruant in 1999, so it's been around awhile.

This has to be my favorite resturant in San Francisco. It has great ambiance with candles, wine glasses, and beautiful black and white photos on the walls. The bar is a great place to sit and have a glass of wine and share a tasty treat
