I purchased a new vehicle here in 2008. I was asked if I'd like to purchase the extended warranty which I did. In my opinion, they implied it was an extension of the Toyota bumper to bumper warranty.

My initial factory warranty just ran out. I had an issue and took the car in for service. I was told by their service department that they had sold me a third party warranty and that it wouldn't cover the car.

This was not made clear; they implied the extended warranty to be an extension of the Toyota factory warranty. Not a third party warranty I could've bought later directly most probably for less.

I paid $1400 for this third party extended warranty three years ahead of time that doesn't even cover the car. It has now covered the car for 6 weeks since the factory warranty expired. I inquired about cancelling it and they informed I would receive a refund of only $500.

Learn from my mistake. Don't do business here. If you must, make sure to read the fine print and don't take them at their word.

We bought our 2007 RAV-4 at Atlanta Toyota and things went smoothly. We had a good saleslady who wasn't too pushy and was personable and considerate.

We've had to take the vehicle in twice over the last six months for things to be done: oil changes, tire rotations (free), a glovebox replacement because the original one was faulty, and replacement of the radio console because its display started flashing nonsensical garbage on the screen--or wouldn't work at all.

We've had problems with the service department, although they weren't that major. For one thing, they slightly marred the dash when they replaced the glovebox. Also, on another trip they overfilled the oil and it had to be returned to be drained (possible engine damage if it hadn't been done). The wait times can be very long at times on a Saturday, even early in the day. And last but not least, the service person didn't bother calling us when the car was ready this last time, which is annoying when you realize you've spent over $21,000 there within the past year. My wife and I are pretty easygoing, but we called and complained to the manager because we were promised the work wouldn't take nearly as long as it did.

As I said, these aren't major problems, but rather indicate a rather impersonal relationship this dealership evidently has with some of its customers. You just don't get that pampered feeling you deserve, which I've heard in the past is typical with Toyota and Honda dealerships. Instead of resting on their laurels because their cars are built so well, they should be spending time being more appreciative of their customers.

I have gotten 3 cars serviced at Atlanta Toyota over the past 10 yrs. I used to drive from Smyrna to get my car serviced here. Each time the service we agreed on has been completed as promised in a reasonable amt of time. They do suggest other service needs but are not too pushy or "guilt" me into something if I tell them I don't want that done to my car. EVERY trip to the service department has been followed up the next day with a personal phone call & letter from the service department manager. No matter where I buy my car, I will always get it serviced at Atlanta Toyota.

This place is as corrupt as it gets. They sold me a car that the car salesman said got 30+ mpg, but I found out later, got 17 mpg according to the websites. When I tried to stop the purchase of it because the loan had not gone through, the Pre-Own Director pushed the loan through Toyota Finance while I was waiting to sign the papers to release myself from the car. Then when I pointed out his corrupt activities, he said "Of course I did it! I wasn't going to let you walk out of here without that car!" I threatened an arbitration hearing to which I was told "go ahead and do it. We will win in court because you signed the papers. It doesn't matter if the loan went through 10 minutes ago." Then he said, "I know that some shady things went down here, and I want you to come to me directly so we can work out a deal with a new car when you trade this one back in" Now I am stuck with a 17 mpg car, and it cost me $50.00 in gas after 3 days of driving to school and back. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE OR YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF BY THEIR SALES PEOPLE AND THEIR CORRUPT MANAGERS WILL NOT HELP YOU I am staging a protest every Saturday from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm for me and anyone else who has been taken at this place.

This dealer has some excellent offers on almost the entire range of Toyota vehicles. these discount offers really stood out, and were very competitive. Moreover, this dealer is very conveniently located near my house. So, making up my mind was never difficult!
