My fiance and I ordered food from LaBite 1-2 times a week. Its level of quality went downhill with every order. We order Wokano and get 2-3 orders of sushi + apps. When the food would arrive the fried wontons were open, there would be 2 pieces of one roll missing and 1 piece od another missing. The previous time we ordered Johnny Rockets and half the onion rings were missing, and they forgot the thousand island with the salad, since we had ordered ranch for the onion rings the driver looks at me and says,"theres no thousand island, but ranch is better anyways." When paying $12 for 6 pieces of sushi and only 4 arrive its aggrivating but the final straw was when the delivery man intimidated my fiance into giving him a tip by saying he wouldnt leave til he recieved a tip. It being late sunday night, and i was still on my way home from work, the situation was not one she felt safe in. oh, and the last two times we ordered it took 1 1/2- 2 hours for delivery. The driver must have stopped to snack with his friends on the way.

However my biggest problem now is not only with the delivery drivers but the management. I called and told them about this and was told that they wouild offer me a comped order on my next call. but the next time i call im told that they only offerd to give me a "free delivery charge" (valued at 5.95)not order. This delivery charge doesnt even cover one of the rolls of sushi THAT THE DRIVER ATE!!!! i was a good customer and due to the incompetence of management and lazy hiring conditions of delivery men i say STAY AWAY!

We order from labite all the time !!! Even if it cracks us (and our friends) up.... um, we're French and try looking up the transaltion of "La Bite".... lol, not something you want to see on your bank statement!!!
But anyways, we love that we can order food from so many restaurants. The food always come in time. Only once, the guy was like 30 minutes late and they refunded us almost 50%. The drivers are always friendly... I don't understand the previous review... how can you think that the fee is their tip? Do you think Labite is a non-profit organization?!....
To sum it up, we have been ordering A LOT from them for quite a while and we have only good things to say!
We've tried so many great restaurants this way!

We just had some food delivered by your company by a very rude driver! We are staying in a hotel & assumed the delivery charge + the convenience fee paid the driver. He stated that it did not include a tip but when asked then what were both fees for he stated they went to the company. Then rolled his eyes and said with a attitude, "that is how we get paid! If you don't want to tip then whatever!"

We gave him a tip but after getting our bag & looking at our food we wish we had not!!!! We ordered plates & silverware for 2 and he did not bring anything! I can state that we will never order through your company again when we are here for business or pleasure! We are both professionals and if this young man wants to deliver food for a living while he tries to act or whatever that is his choice! Gratuity is given by choice and should not be demanded!!!! It is for good service and is not required for bad service!

+ tip for a very rude driver & bad service!

How difficult is it to look at the driver copy & the first thing states 2 plates, 2 napkins, & utensils!

I didn't even know most of these restaurants delivered!! Most restaurants are high quality and I love them! Louises being my favorite. ...There is a delivery fee but it's worth it after a long day at work. Most of the time it's about an hour delivery which is great considering it's delivery not Di Giorno. But if they are busy they will tell you ahead of time the current delivery time. Even if delivery is running longer the food has always been delivered fresh and hot. I Love It, actually im thinking of placing an order now.....

sure delivery in l.a. isn't as great as the east coast but labite is the best!!! they deliver for over 500 restaurants in long beach, downtown, the west side, the valley, all over beverly hills and its rumored to have some growth in the o.c.! they might take a while if your at home, but i work at corporate company and they have all my huge catering orders on time, hot, labeled, with plenty napkins and paper plates!! the drinks don't have such variety, but the restaurant choices are amazing!! they'll go to subway n pollo loco to the cheesecake factory and cpk!! awesome! i love labite! thanks for making my life sooooooo much easier!!! by the way the fee is only like $6 or $7.... that's nothing! the operators are soooo nice and helpful! they will do anything to make sure your order is on time and hot!!!

LA BITE is a great company to deal with, the only complaint I have as a manager of a restaurant is the dispatcher Ivo, he seems to have a rude behavior and language and understanding problems.

They claimed they could deliver in 45 minutes to an hour. Good luck ! I called after an hour and 10 minute wait and was promised that my food was 5 to 10 minutes away. I called 20 minutes later, and the food was still another 5 to 10 minutes away. Asked to cancel order since their credibility was shot re: ability to give ETA and my family was hungry! Instead of taking the proactive approach to call and tell me my food might be delayed (before I had to call them), they threatened that my account would be cancelled if I cancelled order. Talk about poor customer service! And I can just imagine what the food would have been like after sitting around for so long. I called Chinese delivery and got our meal in 20 minutes. Seriously, for the service fee they charge, it better be on time, every time.

Love LAbite! Since I discovered them, it has made my life so much easier. There are so many restaurants that don't deliver, or take forever to place an order on the phone, etc... I especially like the online ordering feature on Labite. I use them for ordering dinner at home and luncheons at the office. They have my previous orders on file, so I can just place a reorder. Also the drivers are courteous and cute! Definately recommend them, I'ved ordered from other delivery companies and the service and restaurant choices don't compare.

After registering and placing an order and waiting over an hour for my food I was told that they couldn't deliver to my city. Then why did the website tell me they could? The woman I spoke to on the phone was neither helpful or apologetic. I'm extremely disappointed.

We used to order from LAbite all of the time but no more. The menu selection is not wha it used to be, the customer service is appalling, and they're always late. I don't know what's happened to this once great service, but I'll never order from them again.

Labite makes my live easier.

I place larger delivery orders daily. Even though I pay delivery charge and tip, it is better than spending an hour driving, parking and waiting at busy restaurants.

They usually come within the time quoted. Even if they are late, the food hot.
In addition, the drivers are very friendly. They like to set up the food for me, and label all the dishes by name.

If your time is worth more than a delivery charge, I recommend using Labite.

Pros: Saves time, easy to order and have very large restaurant selection.

Cons: Pay $6 delivery charge.

Extremely slow delivery times and they close early, but I was willing to use them until I tried to get a credit for a $5.00 item that was not as ordered (this was the first time I had ever complained to them). After the customer service department treated me like an idiot and created 4 different stories about why I didn't get the credit, I told them I wouldn't use them again. Unfortunately, that narrowed my choice of delivered meals to pizza and chinese, but the short-sighted approach they took to customer service tells me a great deal about the company.

LAbite has been the best expierence I have had in delivery. I read the negative reviews and I would have to disagree. Of course, it may be different in different parts of the city, but my delivery has always been great. For one, they have always been on time... and for the record, they have also always gotten my order correct. I hate to read negative reviews when my service from this company has always been top-notch!

This service is so slow! Yes, you do have a good selection of restaurants to choose from, but it takes them forever to get your order to you. Make sure you're not hungry when you order because you will be furious when they don't deliver on time. I've used them 4 times and all 4 times they have been late.
Although, I must admit that they're great on rainy days...it saves you from having to venture into the rain!

Well, because I am terribly lazy and they have a decent selection, I am beholden to LAbite. But boy, do I wish that wasn't the case. The service fees definitely do jack up the price and they never deliver by the time they say they will--which is usually at least an hour from when I order in the first place. I miss NYC where you can order directly from the restaurant for fast delivery at no additional cost.

You can't get food delivered in LA like you can in NY. Pretty much the best you can do is pizza or chinese. Enter LABite.com. They offer a variety of restaurants with different cuisine in a wide price range. There's a small delivery fee and they have a wide delivery area. The staff is quick, efficient, and courteous.
