Today is June 23, 2014. (When I posted this, it says, "over a year ago.") Every time I come here, they overcharge me. I usually catch it, because I read the receipt before I sign, but on Saturday, I only ordered one drink and was charged

Once again good service is hard to find. We went on a sunday just my wife and I. Only 2 other tables were there so why did we have to wait until after the meal for the water my wife asked for with her first drink? It's a bar i understand

January 2010- We sat and waited 20 minutes for service until we gave up and went to the bar to order. We were meeting friends so we did not want to go elsewhere until all arrived. We had to ask for service all during the night. It took nearly ten minutes just to get our final bill. Watson's is a very nice looking and comfortable place however, without good service, I would rather go elsewhwere.

Pros: Very Nice Place

Cons: Service was lacking

Just a friendly, laid-back place. Busy on weekends. We really liked it!

I go there almost every week for happy hour and end up staying longer than I should. Great crowd, mostly locals from the area as well as professionals from the surrounding buildings.
Inside has the charm of a local english pub. Outside has a huge patio/seating area - cobblestone floors, trees/shrubs surroundings, etc. You feel like your in the privacy of your backyard just having a few drinks w/ friends.
Different bands play several times a week in both inside and out playing songs of all genres and generations w/ an acoustic feel.
There have been times I've spent hours there w/ friends and our tab came out to only $40.00!!!!
Did I mention that you roadsters serves patrons food...not to mention that new york pizzeria delivers...AND they bbq on certain days!
I highly recommend it!
Service there is also wonderful - everyone (staff and patrons both) is friendly.

Ok, so the guy before me noted the one not-so-lovely staff member, but he failed to highlight the rest of the AMAZING ones. Those are some of the nicest, down-to-earth waitresses I've ever encountered! And the management is out of this world! That guy is totally approachable, so even if you were to ever have a problem, it'd be resolved in about 2 seconds flat. I've seen them cater to their customers like no other place. It's like "Cheers" at the next level! Some of my international friends have brought in flags & they're up on the wall the next day. As much negative stuff as there is to say about a lot of bars out there, this one definitely deserves a gold star...or ten!!

Cons: Wine Selection, Parking

I've had nothing but rude service from one of the women bartenders that works both here and at Sherlock's on Westhiemer. For no reason does she pick up quarter-full drinks and dump them in hopes that you won't notice, and also loves to shove her proverbial weight as a bartender in ways that are only embarrassing to herself. She demeans bartenders in general with her behavior. Don't get me wrong about this place. Aside from her, it's a great place to go. Just stay away from the middle-aged, blonde bartender that works at both of these locations. I go to lots of places in Houston, and have never had this problem. It was embarrassing when I had guest from out-of-town and she performed her magic.

Part of the prolific Sherlock's chain, this English-style pub offers a varied menu, plenty of imported ales and live music.
