I dealt with Bokas to get a foot stone on my cousin's grave on April 9th, 2008. They said that they would have it done in 6 or 8 weeks. Two months later they submitted the drawing for approval. In Early November, 6 months late, I get a call from them saying it was done and installed. They were supposed to contact me before the installation so I could arrange to have out of town family come in for it. Annoying, but the world won't end. I just have to wait to get the family together for another 6 months or so.

When they called to tell me that they had finally done what I had already paid them $750 for, they were as high pressure as they could be- what were my death and interment plans? What about my mother? He then proceeded to tell me all of my family dates of death and relations he had looked up. I was caught unawares and off guard which is my fault, not theirs. He pressured me to come in to talk to them - he had a planning book he would give me. The next day I was sick and did not leave my house or go to that meeting. That was 11-11-08. On 11-12-08 I came home lunch time and there was a car parked where the driver could look into my house but I could not enter or leave the driveway. When I pulled up behind the car no one got out. I waited 3 or 4 minutes (feeling a bit nervous, I have to admit- I didn't have a clue who this was) and finally got out of my car to see. It was the guy from Bokas! He had parked in my driveway for god knows how long until I got home and was actually surprised when I didn't drop everything to meet with him then and there- uninvited. I work- this was at lunch- what was he thinking?

I told him we would be in touch to reschedule. Now, being as how I live in the USA there was this little event called Thanksgiving that I was gearing up for. Calling them was not high on my priority list. Today, the day after Thanksgiving, he shows up wanting to meet with me again! It is a holiday and I was lounging- I wasn't even dressed. This odd man was evidently that I did not invite him in to chat business.

This company is horrible and this salesman has a high creep factor. They aren't an Ohio company- they are from Texas. Talk to them at your own risk. And do NOT give them your home address. Unless you are cool with stalking. Then, by all means...
