Natalee Thai is an authentic Thai restaurant offering traditional Thai dishes, a pleasant dining atmosphere, and friendly staff. The recipes are prepared with only the freshest ingredients. We also make use of the fresh local products whenever possible. Adhering to Asian cultural tradition, all our meals are served "Family Style." Our dishes include Tom Yum Shrimp (shrimp with mushrooms in hot and sour soup, laced with a smidgen of lemon grass), Pad Thai (noodles, shrimp, chicken, egg, bean curd, bean sprouts, green onion, chopped peanuts on the side, and sauce) and Ruby Curry (beef or chicken, bamboo shoots, green peas, chili, coconut milk in red curry).

Thai

by Luana S. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 575

We order lunch from Natalee's all the time. The delivery is fast and most importantly the food is delicious.

I love curries and can always attest to their chicken curry, so so good.

Highly recommended! Great prices!

Simply the BEST!

by Matthew J. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 8,558

When it comes to Thai food, Natalee Thai Cuisine is hands-down the best. I've eaten at other "Thai" restaurants, but none compare to Natalees. From their Sweet and Sour Chicken to the Spicy Monsoon Noodles you'll be glad you chose Natalees and not some other place. Oh and don't forget to try the Thai Iced Tea!

I love this place! The panang curry is wonderful- It's a perfect blend of coconut and spices. The pad thai is also quite good. The food is decently priced with large portions.

good thai food

by bomquishaa

My son loves thai food from here so on our way home, we'll just order it in advance and pick it up. They always have it ready on time and don't make me wait a while. I appreciate that. =) It's also really good food. Not pricey at all.

Pros: food is hot, they don't screw up

Cons: cant think of any

Food was OK, but the service was horrible

by Maya83

Our food was fine, but our service was so bad! Our server, after dropping off the check, took almost 20 minutes to get back to the table when we informed her that there was a mystery dish that noone at my table had. So she took it to remove it. 10 minutes later she came back with our new bill. after waiting for close to another 15 minutes to give her our card we brought it to the 4 workers sitting at and talking around the empty bar. At which point we were told our server needs to run it. Great! Have you seen her!??!
So annoyed. Never Again!

Natalee Thai on Venice

by lalakitty

We have spent many evenings enjoying the food here. We've eaten in on several occasions, but ordered take out as well. The masaman beef is one of my favorites, as well as the panang and other curry dishes (right amount of seasoning). The pad-thai is also very good (noodles just right, good seasoning). I also love their thai iced tea (sweet and creamy). The only thing is it can be very busy. Service is usually good, but when it's busy things can take a while. The dining room is also a bit cramped. My advice, order take out and enjoy their great food somewhere else (we lived about 5-10 minutes away, by the ocean).

Pros: Yummy curry dishes

Cons: Can feel cramped when busy

WORST AND RUDEST DELIVERY SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED

by lovetohateya

I order from here all the time at work and had a craving while at home so I ordered. Apparently the driver got lost in my building, despite signs and me giving him directions. When he got to the door he was rolling his eyes and looked angry. He grabbed the cash and assumed he had a tip. He walked away and I called management. They just apologized, made NO attempts to calm me. I will never have them cater anything for my job or order them again. Not worth it for sub standard Thai.

My Favorite Thai Spot in the West Los Angeles area

by Farang

I really can't understand why there hasn't been a current review here. I lived in Thailand for 8-years and Thai has been my favorite food for over 30 years. I wish to express that some of Natalee Thai's menu selections are at the top of their game, and much tastier then you can get in Thailand (e.g. Paht Thai, Beef Saute). Prices are average, but that's so they can provide quality ingredients. It's nice place to see others. They also have a sushi and a regular bar. They do get very busy at sunset, but their service is still friendly and fast.

Pros: Food, Service, Parking

Cons: None

Top-notch Thai in Beverly Hills

by jenheidir

This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Beverly Hills. The satay comes juicy and not overly grilled with a thick, yet not too rich, peanut sauce. The spicy monsoon noodles are a dream for those who like a little heat on their dish. The curries and the pad thai are solid as far as these dishes go. Service is always great. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Pico-Olympic area craving Thai food.

Below average food, average to below average service, great decor and atmosphere

by slpdocstu

This is one of the closest restaurants to where I live and they deliver for free, so I really wanted to like this place. But, I've given up. There isn't anything terrible about this place - but the food has just been disappointing time after time. They make these great salads - and then you get a very small amount of the great cooked ingredients sitting on top a bed of lettuce. They don't blend well at all. It's like ordering a house salad and dumping a small thai salad on top. The curry is always bland with chicken that has never impressed. I must say though, the decor inside is great. And, they do have parking, so those work in the restaurant's favor. Still, I'll be looking for a new restaurant for my take out.

Pros: Decor, Atmosphere

Cons: Bland, dissapointing food

If you like GRISLE, FAT, and CARTILIGE on your chicken, this is the place

by cgriffeth

I cannot stand anything but boneless, skinless chicken breast trimmed of ALL fat. If you don't mind fat, a tendon, or cartilige (spelling?) in your chicken, have at it. I only live a few blocks away, so I've tried Natalee several times hoping it was just the one time, especially since the reviews are so good. But no, the meat quality is terrible and makes it too hard to enjoy anything else. The beef satay is all fat too. The fried rice is good, but is not worth eating since you have to eat around the meat. Would never go again.

Pros: Ok atmosphere, parking validation

Cons: Food is below average, meat is low grade quality and often questionable

Great Thai

by dgc1987

I was first introduced to this place when our office had delivery for a meeting. I've been there about four times since then and it's been good each time. I really like the Massaman Beef and rice. The service is always good. The staff is very friendly. The location on Robertson has a really nice vibe. I haven't been to the other location so I really can't say.

Pros: Food

Cons: None

Pros: Everything is good, valet parking, and DELIVERY!!!

BEST THAI FOOD

by tigereyez

I'VE HAD THAI FOOD AT PROBABLY A DOZEN DIFFERENT PLACES BUT NATALEE THAI IS DEFINITELY THE BEST HANDS DOWN. I HAD THE THAI CHICKEN AND A WATERMELON MARTINI. CHICKEN WAS DELICIOUS AND WATERMELON MARTINI TASTED LIKE A JOLLYRANCHER.

Pros: BEST THAI I'VE HAD YET

Cons: THE WAIT

Good food as long as you don't get delivery

by lagerbil

So the first time I got delivery and it was absolutely horrible. It took them 1.5 hours to get to my house (I live 8 min away) and the food was just bad. The Hot Stuff was just bland and too spicy at the same time. The egg rolls were soggy.

I was really confused because it had a really good rating so I decided to give it another shot and drove there. Parking was impossible so I parked in the adjacent lot (it's tow away so I was gambling with my car) and decided to order the same things again. This time the 'Hot Stuff' was absolutely delicious with just the right amount of spice and flavor. The Massaman Beef was perfectly tender and not at all chewy. This place is almost on the level of Tuk Tuk Thai (for me that's saying a lot) so I'm definitely planning on returning here but I'll never order delivery again.

Pros: Food, Decor

Cons: Parking, Delivery

Best Thai BBQ Pork

by cristycookie

I have been going here for years now and since I live almost an hour away from both locations it is a real treat when we go. All the entrees I have tried are great but their thai bbq pork was so good that we ordered another to go because we really wanted leftovers. The sushi is pretty good as well. Drinks are also great. Prices are moderate, the food is well worth it. Ambience is also nice and service has always been great. I definitely recommend this place for couples and even families.

Pros: Quality food

Cons: parking is kinda weird at the robertson blvd location

Worst Delivery

by soybean8

Natalee's got great food, but their delivery system is a MESS. I've ordered a handful of times, hoping that each experience would be better than the last. No such luck. It always takes over an hour and they've "lost" the order twice. If you're going in, I'd say go for it. But, if you're thinking about delivery -- definitely skip it.

Pros: Good food

Cons: Worst delivery system

Overrated

by foodfinds

Natalee Thai has average food but the taste and quality certainly does not justify it's $10-$12 price. I guess I prefer other Thai restaurants that are more delicious and are not quite as pricey. Alot of guys also come here to look at the waitress, so maybe that's part of the cost.

Pros: Parking

Cons: Price

Skip this one....

by drspok

I can't comment on the ambience, as I have only ordered delivery. This is about #3 on my WORST thai food ever list!!! My order took almost 2 hours to arrive!!!!! Mind you I am just 10 minutes away by car....The tom yum soup is an atrocity!!! semi milky watery broth...at first I thought I had accidentally received a tom kha...but upon tasting I realized the soup was just a REALLY lousy tom yum!!! The satay appetizer was acceptable...hard to screw that one up!!...Lastly, I ordered a pad khee mao on the phone....They brought me a FRIED RICE....you get the idea....DON'T eat here...some of the most NON-AUTHENTIC thai food I have ever eaten...and not exactly cheap either...1 appetizer/1 soup/1 dish $26 delivered...

Not very authentic thai cuisine

by screw

The decor of the restaurant is very modern and nice, service is good too... but the thai food is just average...not bad but quite very authentic...I have tried much better thai cuisine in this neighborhood for the same value..Skip the panang curry.

AMAZING!

by ashleys194

Decor is awesome, food is even better. I'm not a fan of the BBQ-style Pad Thai, but my boyfriend's crab pinapple fried rice was incredible. We we are moving to LA in August and were trying to find our regular thai place on our visit... we found it on the first try!

Pros: decor, free valet parking!, food!

Cons: bbq-style pad thai
