We used A Fine Image for our wedding in September, 2009. We booked them online, without meeting the photographers first. Which made us rather nervous. The overall experience was good, and Mark was very helpful. We also understood that we weren't guaranteed a specific photographer when using them, but they showed up on time, and were very pleasant to us. The "posed shot" session outside the reception was a bit overly forced and awkward - we were made to "mug" for the camera far too often. We also often felt pressured to pose for a shot one of the photographers had in mind, that we didn't want (taking us away from our reception for 20 minutes).
The "formal" photos were rather disappointing. Too far away, impersonal and we didn't have a "super-professional" result. All that being said, the candids before the ceremony, and during the reception were wonderful. They had some very creative "detail" shots of the bride, centerpieces, the cake, flowers, etc. Photos that looked like they belonged in a bridal magazine.
As for the company itself, I understand that this is a business, and they do have to make a profit, but the wedding album prices are a bit steep. We are now starting the process of the album/negative purchase, and will be able to give a thorough review of that experience afterward.

We hired A Fine Image for our 2009 wedding and were very pleased with our two photographers and videographer. They were very professional, friendly and creative! We found A Fine Image online and were so impressed by their work and style that we went ahead and booked them without meeting. We never gave A Fine Image "must take" photos (perhaps we should have given them, but they didn't ask us) but were very pleased by how everything turned out. The communication has been on-going and we have enjoyed working with them!

This company is a TOTAL SCAM!!! DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR WEDDING EXPERIENCE RUINED!!!
We were shopping around for wedding photography. We stumbled online of this company, it seemed nice, winning so may nomination from The Knot, and the online gallery samples were absolutely stunning. But we werent so sure to go with them, until we talked to a friend and found out that the same company did his album that all the friends said was so beautiful. Having the confidence of a friends personal experience, we decided to go with them. But we do we face? Like so many others, the owner Mark Zaki has very rude customer service manner. But we thought that were more looking for wedding pictures than rating customer service anyway, so we put up with his rudeness and try to get business with him. We wanted the same photographer that our friend had used, but he didnt exactly say we could have Jennifer as our photographer. So at the contract, I said Ill pay in advance if we can have her as our photographer. He said Jennifer will be out taking the pictures if she is not sick that day. I took it as a confirmation from him and paid in full up front. We thought everything was all set until two and half week before as he told us, to contact him and he will get us communicating with the photographer on details. Only we found out our photographer is not Jennifer, and is someone totally not listed on his website. We called and we said this is totally not what we signed up for, and he started arguing with us. Then he send us another photographer still not what we requested for, and he said THIS IS THE BEST YOURE GONNA GET, COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS!
At that point, I was too angry to deal with him, so my husband decided that well just have to contact the photographer he assigned us and work it out with him. Fortunately, the photographer is very nice, and everything worked out with him great.
Not wanting to do much more business with Mark, the next step is to get our pictures. On his website at the time when I was researching, it says we can purchase the negative at $800. But afterwards, he said the negative is $800 if you buy it with the very expensive photo Album. If you want to buy the negative alone, its $100 more than buying it with the album what in the world the ridiculous pricing. So our business with him stops there. Mark is a total jerk, do not work with him if you dont want your wedding photography matter becomes a nightmare to handle!
Check BBB, even though the agency rated this company at A (which I dont know how) there have been A NUMBER OF COMPLAINTS, ENOUGH THAT YOU SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!!

We hired A Fine Image for our wedding in June 2009 and they were great! On our wedding day the photographers showed up as scheduled and were extremely friendly and professional. We explained to them our timing concerns and they worked with us to get the shots we wanted in a timely manner. After the formal pictures were taken they moved into the reception and you barely noticed they were there! They took some amazing shots without harassing any guests. I am very pleased with the final images and would recommend them to my friends.

My experience with A Fine Image was great. We were married in May of 2009. First, both the photographers were on time and courteous. One of them patiently waited while we finished getting ready. During our formal photos, they were open to anything we wanted to do and even had good ideas themselves. The photos turned out very nice. We are very happy with the formal pics as well as the reception pics. Some of the more candid pics we are absolutely crazy about. We were satisfied and would recommend A Fine Image to anyone getting married.

This was the worst company I have every worked with, period. I signed a contract with their "photographer" Jennifer. Less than a week before my wedding, after I sent multiple emails the weeks leading up to my wedding with my must take photos for Jennifer, I was told that I had a different photographer and that I wasn't guaranteed Jennifer. Interesting since my contract was with Jennifer and there was no mention of changing photographers anywhere in the contract. With less than a week before my wedding, I was stuck with whoever I was given as it was too late to find someone else and I would have lost all of my money. After the wedding, they took longer than the 90 days stated in the contract to post my pictures. They tripled the price of the negatives we had agreed upon originally and I had down in writing. When we threatened legal action because they had breached so many items in our contract, they turned around and threatened legal action on us for deformation, when we had done nothing of the sort. They threatened me, my husband, and my parents at home and at work personally, threatened our jobs, our homes, our cars, and more. Security and legal had to be called in at our work (we all work at the same company) and the head of our legal department said that he's never delt with a bigger nutbag and security was on high alert because of the psychotic things the owner was saying. In the end, we got our negatives and our lawyer worked everything out, but these people do not know how to run a business. The owner, Mark has been banned by every photography association according to our photographer who refuses to work with this company ever again after our experience because of all of the issues he's caused me among other brides and how he runs business. Mark goes by multiple names, so be careful. They should not be in business. On top of everything, I didn't get a lot of my must take photos. There isn't a single picture of me with my mom, our venue, me with my grandparents, and so many other photos that were on my must take list, and they weren't obscure photo requests either. I was so disappointed and it really turned what should have been a wonderful day into 6 months of headaches, disappointment, and sheer disbelief at how this company treats their customers.

My photos took my breath away. I hired A Fine Image for my weddingon 8/7/09 and I am so happy. All my emails were answered within 24 hours. I have over 1100 pictures to choose from. I think for the work done the price is right. I would recommend them to anyone.

I used A Fine Image for our wedding photographer. They captured every special moment of our day so nicley that I will forever have beautiful memories that show every detail of it. Their pricing is very reasonable for what you get. Having two photographers taking an unlimited amount of pictures capturing all of the little details that others may not have even noticed in the first place and their albums are unbelievably beautiful! All-in-all I would highly recommed them to anyone looking for a beautiful album and a postitive experience.

We would like to let everyone know how perfect the photographers were from A Fine Image. We dealt with them strictly over the internet from day one, as they were number one on TheKnot.Com. We never met with them at all. The prices were extremely reasonable. Every last detail was covered by them from the first time we emailed them until the day of the wedding. Our pictures were recently released for us to view online, and they are SOOO AMAZING!! I can't believe how beautiful every photo is. They have such talent in capturing things that the average person doesn't even notice. We had two photographers at our wedding, and one comment from all our families and friends was that they weren't in the way or overbearing. Somehow they manage to capture all the perfect moments without interfering with the guests. We can't say enough good about this company. We would recommend them to anyone and everyone that is looking for the most beautiful photos at a reasonable price. And you get to deal with very professional, friendly, nice photographers. We are so excited to see what our album will look like, but we already know from the photos that it can't be anything less than perfect!
Thank you soo much!!!

Bottom of the barrel! Rude! Worst company/ "Team" of photographers and videographers in the business. Company members clearly stated that most of the couples on their website are divorced. KISS OF DEATH! DO NOT USE! Dont let the "Best of" The Knot 3 year nomination fool you. They pay top advertising dollars to hold that title with all the money they charge YOU, the client. I wouldnt even rate them 1 star, but this site makes you! Thank God I didnt use them! This Company promotes divorced couples on their site! Stay away!!!!!!!!

We are very happy with A Fine Image for their services. We were married at the Harding Allen Estate and hired them for both photo and video.
They are a fairly large operation, and we did not have any problems with that. They have also been rated by the Knot as one of the best in the area for 07, 08, and 09. To the best of our knowledge; they are the only photo and video company in the area to win this award three years in a row. We also knew that a large company would have many clients, and it is impossible to make everyone happy. But they have been in business for over ten years. These were enough reasons for us to give them a try.
In our experience, this is a company that shows elegance and style from the very first meeting to the delivery of the final product.
The team of photographers at our wedding was absolutely fantastic. They were friendly, helpful, and quickly tuned in to our personalities and the mood of the day. They worked closely with us when we wanted, and faded into the background at all the appropriate times; when we saw our proofs, we were happy to see all of the shots we requested, plus dozens of shots from when we didnt realize they were even there.
Their video was also excellent, like a movie or television special.
.
Choosing the photos for the album can, of course, be difficult. When we saw our layout, we were impressed by how perfect it all fit together. In the end, our album was as stylish and as elegant as the representations of their best work.
The wedding day is a once in a lifetime event. Once it is over, all we have is the memories. If a couple wants those memories preserved forever with photographs and video that reflects the happiness and pure joy of the day, for us. A Fine Image did that for us.

I am telling you as a photographer and knowing these people. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They don't treat their employees or customers well at ALL! Mark is a HORRIBLE person! He actually screamed at me on the phone for calling and asking about a brides images and what to do with them. He called me a "stupid American girl". I am blown away that he came to OUR COUNTRY to start a business and has the nerve to disrespect the very people that live here and work for him! HUGE MISTAKE working for those people and it's a HUGE mistake if you choose to trust these people with one of the most important days of your life! They are strictly out to rob you and could care less about your images or what you get out of the experience!

Worst company ever. I am seriously considering taking them to court. These people are crooks and extortionists, pure and simple. Firstly, my photographer was not an actual employee of A Fine Image, but a completely separate, independent photographer. I had no idea when I called Fine Rip off that I was simply hiring a middleman to find me a photographer. If I had known that was the "service" being provided, I would have definitely chosen to do it myself. Obviously, I was not told what was going on. From what I've read from all you others burned by these people, I gather that the quality of the actual shots varies so much because they just pick a random vendor and hire them on your behalf. Gee, what a skill.Secondly, a lot of time passed after the wedding date and I'd received nothing, no proofs or digitals or anything from these crooked middle-men. Finally I called to ask what was going on. Though I was polite, the hostility on the other end of the phone started immediately. I was told, (actually yelled at) that my images will soon be deleted. The ultimatum was for me to pay $2,400 for the digitals, which is the same price as the album and digital images should cost combined as per the contract. In fact, I had to quote this fact to them from the contract in order to have them offer to send me an album price list. Otherwise, they would be more than glad to rip me off for $2400 having done absolutely nothing for me. (Remember, they didn't actually take these photos). Stay as far away from these people as possible. Their game is to be nice to you just long enough to bind you up in a misleading contract. Once you sign on the dotted line though they turn on you like a pack of wild dogs and hold your images for ransom until you agree to pay whatever they decide to charge.

Don't use these crooks. They screwed us a week before our wedding, yelled at us, even threatened us. The owners are unethical crooks. Trust me, don't don't don't use these people. Read the reviews carefully. Would you trust a company that has so many negative reviews? And be extremely cautious of the positive comments, Google "A Fine Image" and you will learn very quickly that be passing up on these clowns you'll pass on "A Fine Mess" for your wedding photos.

We were married on September 13 at the Lord Thompson Manor in Connecticut. We hired A Fine Image to do our photography. They provided us with two photographers, Michael Scroggins and Bryan Furey. Both of their photographers were awesome. The photos were amazing...better than I could have ever imagined. Mike was fantastic! He captured all of the moments we will want to remember forever. He managed to catch all of the excitement and emotions of the day in such a way that every time I look at the photos I am reminded of every wonderful moment of that day. We have so many great shots not only of ourselves and our family but of our friends and wedding guests. The photographers for A Fine Image did an excellent job.

We were married at the Maplewood Golf Club and Inn in Bethlehem, New Hampshire on July 5, 2008. A Fine Image did our wedding photography and Jonathan Daisy from their company shot our wedding.
First and foremost A Fine Image provides amazing photography.
We have had so many wonderful comments on their work and how terrific all the photos came out. We received the photos in a timely fashion. Jon was easy to work with, friendly, professional and did so much behind the scenes...we rarely spotted him throughout the day, until he came to say "goodbye."
It was such a perfect day for all of us...weather wise, the church and Maplewood were both so lovely, each was so picturesque, it was nice to have all the different views with the mountains in the background and then Maplewood, etc.
We especially loved how he captured the emotions on the different faces of certain people throughout the day depending on what was happening. I cannot think of anything that I would have had him do differently... A Fine Image and Jonathan photographing for them were SIMPLY THE BEST.

These people are rude and totally unprofessional. They present you with reasonable pricing upfront but do not publicly list the albums pricing by detail. In the long run you end up paying twice what you budgeted for and you have to deal with their incompetency! They're very pleasant until the check is cashed and then they treat you like garbage! You're better off having your guests send you pictures and then taking the negatives to a place to have an album made!

We hired A Fine Image for our wedding, and they truly did an amazing job with our wedding photos and video. Our family and friends were amazed with how many photos were taken and how great all the pictures came out. We can't stop looking at them! The video was beautiful and we love how it was edited and put to music that was special to us. No one at the wedding even remembered the videographer or photographers being there. That only speaks to how great their work is and how professional they present themselves.
Our wedding album is stunning. People who see it say they have never seen anything like it. It is unbelievable how they were able to capture our day in a storybook style. We both couldn't be more pleased and recommend them to our friends. They captured our special day in such a special way.

My wife and I were scammed by these people too. They will bait and switch and if you have any issue with them, they will treat you like dirt and screw you out of money without hesitation. Read the reviews folks, stay away, far far far away. I'd rather hire my 2 year old niece draw pictures with her crayons than have these people take my wedding pictures. Google "A Fine Image", be wary of any positive things, and go elsewhere.
Note to this website, I wish there was a 0 rating for A Fine Image.

"WOW. I figured there would be several complaints about this company. Where do I start : The videoographer showed up at my house and began searching on my computer for directions to my mother in laws house. (shouldnt he have already had that info) for a half hour then proceeded to watch the soccer game that was on tv. The photographer that came to my house was completly inexperienced. I was telling her what pictures to take. She took about 5 pictures of the tattoo on my back and 1 of me and my parents. Needless to say she was horrible. The videographer at the wedding put the camera on a stand and left it there. There was 3hours of film of guests dancing. ZERO of family members wishing us luck. The quality of the dvd stunk. All the spelling of our names at the end of video were spelled wrong real PROFESSIONAL. We went in to meet with them to voice or disapointment and that was when they become RUDE and EXTREMELY unprofessional. They would not compensate us in any way. The gentleman (if thats what you want to call him) is the rudeist person I have ever delt with. He spoke to my mother in such a dispicable manner it is undescrible. He I quote asked my mother "what planet she fell off of " and "at your daughters next wedding maybe she will get the pictures she wants" "It will take us $15000 to take him to court" and "If we do not pay the full amount by midnight on Sept 22 he will delete our photos". They told me at first I could pay 1/2 the album at the signing of the contract then 1/2 as the album was being made. Then they send me an email of the contract saying I had to pay in full and thats the only way the will deal with me. I intend to contact the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU in regards to this company. If any one would like to help put this company out of business please contact me. If I could save just 1 bride the heartache of dealing with these jerks I would be happy"

Whatever you do, do not use A Fine Image. Mark Zaki is the rudest, most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with in a business transaction.
Our wedding videographer turned out to be a porn videographer and he shot the entire wedding reception from the balcony. The footage was almost completely unusable. Oh, and the opening scene was my mother-in-law out front smoking. How romantic! Who would want that in their wedding DVD? And when we called to complain, we were screamed at and told to take them to court if we had a problem with the footage. So much for customer service!

I am usually a very calm person, but dealing with Jennifer was hard even for me! She was so rude and petty! On their website, their prices are very deceiving! We honestly thought we'd be paying around $3000. Not even close! That $1500 tag they get you with is bogus! For an album with only 50 images it's $2000, and it goes up VERY quickly! 90 images is $3000 and it goes up from there! Add this to the $1400 (or $1200 for one photographer), plus the $1000 if you want negatives (the 1000 edited). Add another $400 if you want ALL the negatives, which wasn't a problem for us because they didn't even take the 1000 that was promised in the contract! Not to mention when we tried to redeem our $100 coupon that they gave us at the wedding expo, they wouldn't even take it! Me and my husband are so fed up with them, we aren't even buying an album, were are going to suck it up and just buy the negatives, which will be $2400 since we aren't buying an album. That's $3800(plus tax) without an album, with less pictures than they promised! I would recommend a lobotomy before I would recommend "A Fine Image"!

If you want to have a good experience with your wedding photo's then DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are RUDE and DECEITFUL. And if it wasnt such a hassle to take them to court for failing to deliver what was expected and breach of contract , we would. I will say that we were told ahead of time we would not know who of photographer would be, but he was pleasant and did take most of the pictures we wanted. It is in dealing with Jennifer that all the trouble lies, They write their contracts in such a way that it could have multiple meanings, they dont respond to you in a timely manor and were very slow in getting our negatives. And now are having trouble with putting our wedding album together the way we want it and not the way they are designing it. They are quick to take the money but not quick on delivering the goods. It was a rating that was negative to the tenth degree I would use it. I wouldnt never ever recommend these people to anyone. and I guess the saying is true cant judge a book by its cover

I am floored by the rude customer service of this company! I tried to ask questions, and the person on the line cut me off and replied "I'm not trying to talk down to you, but we were rated as best in the country by the knot.com, do you know what that is? Well, we just want to get in and get out and shoot your wedding so I don't have time for a sales pitch. So you can either sign the contract or not." I tried to ask for more samples of their work but was told that they don't feel the need to send them b/c can just look at their one video sample online. Unfortunately, I picked up the phone at work when they called me back from my online inquiry so had to be polite while this man floored me with his arrogance and rudeness! Will not be booking them - horrible service for a company that specializes in weddings!!!!
