I stayed here one night just after Hurricane Ike came through Houston. Great staff, comfy beds, and the walk-in shower was the best. The room was spotless. The decor is "beachy", and I felt like I was on an island someplace instead of here in Houston cleaning up from a hurricane.

Many times people only write about problems they have with different businesses! I'm not like that I like to tell of the good and bad and the Hotel Indigo had allot to offer! Comfortable beds, nice decor, friendly staff, close to everything...5 stars in my book!
Pros: quaint, comfy beds, very nice for the $$
Cons: none really

This hotel is fairly new and has all the style to show for it. There is nothing common about the decor in the hotel as every room has a different theme. The staff is super nice and the rooms are very clean with hardwood floors and Pottery Barn type furniture. The beds are very comfortable but could be a bit high for people that have mobility problems. The bathroom was very nice but was missing a tub, which my wife would have enjoyed.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone that likes to stay near the Galleria area. (The Galleria is a short half block walk from the hotel. There are a few places to eat around the hotel which is also a short walk.) Finding the hotel could be easier but if you know the area it shouldn?t be too bad. (Just make the block.)
Pros: Great staff and very clean rooms.
Cons: None

Great feeling when you walk in to the hotel. Staff is great. Love the location is close to everything in the Galleria area. The beds are great and rooms fun (does not feel like typical hotel). I am looking forward to my next stay.

The was my first stay at the Indigo Hotel. The hotel is hidden behind a set of condo's. My husband missed the driveway the first time around, but it was no problem to get there after that. The parking lot is large and secure. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was a nice beach type feel. The staff were very friendly. They answered all of our questions and helped us with directions to places around downtown. The hotel room was set up different than any hotel room I've been in before. It was a nice change of scenery. The room had that resort type feel to it. When first walking in you are greeted with tranquil music and a lovely sent of the ocean. The bed was very nice and cozy. I had a great nights sleep. The windows did show a lot of light through them, but you could use the blackout shades if you wanted less light. The tv was a bit aggravating. The menu did not work on the tv, so I could not look up the channel to read what I was watching. Also, I could not watch any movies, because that feature did not work either. The bathroom was large and so was the shower. The air conditioner was a bit loud when first turning on. It did wake me up once during the night. I'm not sure if it was just my room or not. It would have been nice to have a free continental breakfast, but they did not offer that. The definitely need to provide a microwave in the room. The hotel was located close to the Galleria. It was nice to be able to walk to there. We didn't have to travel very far to get to any place we wanted to go. The next time I am in the Houston area, I do plan on staying at this hotel again.
Pros: big comfy beds, super nice hotel staff, large shower, walking distance to Galleria
Cons: No mircowave, no continental breakfast, air conditioner is a bit loud

I stayed at Hotel Indigo on my bithrday this year and it was the best experience I have ever had. Not only was the hotel clean and beautifully decorated, but the staff was amazing. I recommend this hotel to anyone.
