I would consider myself a hair salon snob and Skye has passed my test with flying colors. Everyone there from the receptionists to the owner go above and beyond what you would expect. I stumbled into Skye Salon by Accident....but it turned out to be a GREAT accident! :)
FITZ - did a wonderful job on my cut & color, he really made me feel like he cared about what the end result was going to be. He listened to what I wanted and was also very honest with what he thought would look good etc. I really felt like I was in good hands...this Man knows what hes doing...I say if you want color done GO SEE FITZ!
Jen did my eyebrows and she was awesome, again she took the time to talk with me and listen, I think that is so important.
The owner Charlie was a sweetheart and really cares about your experience, he has a beautiful salon and everyone is very friendly.

I have followed Miranda from another salon and am so happy with this location. She is a very talented stylist and expert colorist. Also don't miss out on the awesome treatments available. The Epicurean facial is amazing and the best facial i have received at any high end spa in town.

Kerry Cobb, is so good at what she does, she listens to what you want and delivers, I've never had an issue with the way my hair looked afterwards! I have had bad experiences with other Salons but this one will be one I go to for a very long while!

A stylist at a high end salon in Round Rock was a rude no-show for my appointment so my boss referred me to Skye Salon. Miranda was able to see me the same day. She is extremely friendly, talented, and professional. She has a lot of knowledge knows exactly what will look good with my face shape. The staff is very friendly and professional as well. I LOVE the text and email reminders that I get about my upcoming appointment. The boutique is really cool to shop at while you're waiting which is never very long. Definitely the best.

After a year, I still had not found someone that I could totally trust with my hair. I called Skye looking for someone new. I got Kerry and she did a wonderful job! I have been going to Kerry for over a year now and what I love about her is that she has made my look more current and has taught me tips for styling at home.
After my last appointment I stopped by a department store. When I walked through the doors the greeting I received was "Did you just get your hair done, Do you have highlights, and who did it?" The lady proceeded to tell me she had her hair done just yesterday at a different place and that she was very unhappy with it. She liked my cut and wanted to make an appoinment with my stylist when she got off work. I gave her Kerry's card, a great referral, and told her where the salon was. She was so appreciative that when I checked out she looked at me and said, "I feel like I really need to do something nice for you... thank you for telling me where you get your hair done." What more can I say?

I have really fine hair, and wasn't really happy with my style, but had not been able to find a style I wanted to try. From the moment I sat in Laura's chair, she put me at ease. She is a great listener and knows what questions to ask to get the info she needs. She suggested a style and showed me tips on how to make sure I could reproduce the same results at home. I came out of Skye smiling and with a haircut that is attractive, easy to maintain, versatile, and that works with my hair texture. I never thought that could happen!

I was referred to this salon by a friend and needed a new haircut for a job interview. I spoke to the owner, who was helpful and professional and set me up an appointment with Laura Anderson. I was cautious, since my last haircut wasn't good at all. It turned out to be the best haircut I have ever had! I found my new haircutter!

Thank goodness for Skye salon. I had made the mistake of coloring my own hair and needed help immediatly. I called the salon on a Monday and the owner arranged for Laura, the amazing stylist, to come in on her day off and fix me. She was so nice and did such a great job!! I never thought she could make my hair look so good! I highly recommend her to everyone and I will surely be coming back!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have lived in many different states and always dreaded having to find a new Hairdresser. When I moved to Austin a few years ago I completely lucked out and found Rebekah. She is the best hair stylist I have ever had, she is great with knowing what cut will look great and is fantatsic at coloring. I won't let anyone else do my hair after seeing the difference it makes when you have it done perfectly. I highly recommend Skye Salon and Boutique and especially Rebekah.

I moved to the Austin area about a year ago and finding a new salon is so hard. I went to Toni&Guy at Lakeline and had a not so great experience, so I did not get my hair done for a long time. My husband found the Skye Salon and was seeing Laura Anderson for a while. I finally broke down and decided to get my hair done. I called Skye Salon and they were able to get me in that day, with his hair stylist. I got my color and cut done by Laura, and my eyebrows done by Jennifer.

I have never been more pleased with my outcome anywhere. My hair looks amazing I am so happy, and my eyebrows needed an overhaul and they turned out awesome as well.

They have such a great team there, and it was the best experience. I will never go anywhere else. I love them.

Moved to Austin several months ago and am thrilled to have found Skye Salon & Boutique! I met with Laura and have been scheduling with her since that time. Before moving here I went to the highest end salon in my city so I had certain expectations. She does a terrific cut and color... I highly recommend her. Their boutique is full of the latest styles and jewelry. I frequently stop in just to shop. Staff and owners are friendly and personable.

I grew up in Austin, and have been spoiled by awesome hairdressers since I can remember. A good haircut always made me feel my best! I have been searching for a great stylist in NW Austin, b/c I'm having a hard time justifying taking off a whole afternoon from work to drive to South Austin, to pay for a $200 haircut and highlight. Today, I got a fantastic cut, highlight, product, 2 pair of bluejeans under $250 and was in and out in 2 hours! I swear by Jessica! She knew exactly what my hair needed, w/ minimal guidance! I will definitely be back and recommend to all my friends!!!!!!

I have been going to Laura for over a year and she is the best at styling my thick wavy hair. I've been many places including Jacques Dessange (rough and rude to me) and Urban Betty ( mismatched ends and roots) and she does a great cut, blowout, and flatiron. The owners are on the premises and everyone is friendly and professional without all the drama and attitude you see some places.

The clothes & jewely are different so you typically will not see them anywhere else. The owner is sometimes there and is very friendly. All that work there are very nice and helpful & make you feel special by always remembering you and treating you like a valued customer. The salon in the back is quaint and, Miranda, who does my hair is fantastic. She takes her time and always does a terrific job with my cut & color. I highly recommend her!

I've been to some of the best salons in Austin that boast foreign speaking stylists. They charge an arm and a leg and keep you in the salon for hours. Rebekah has been equal if not better in her cut and color talents. She is truly an artist and takes great care to give me EXACTLY what I want without keeping me in the chair all day. Prices are not cheap by any means, but they do offer specials to customers on occasion, and they also have great sales on products and give samples generously. They also have a great boutique that helps pass the time while waiting for a rinse out.

I found this place by driving by, but at the time they were closed. So later I got online and looked up their hours and found a 20% off coupon here on city search. So that prompted me to go back to check the place out.

As a stay at home mom, I was in need of a new fun style. The owners of the place (who were so nice) set me up with the stylist Kerry, who was so sweet and so helpful with guiding me in the right direction. She gave me some great highlights and a really cute cut.

Oh, also when I got home I realized the bracelet I had bought had a little piece broken, so I went back today and exchanged and luckily they gave me no problem. I think that was definitely the kind of customer service that makes me want to continue to be a customer there.

I was impressed with this place and do plan to go back. The only draw back is that I spent more than I anticipated, even with the 20% of coupon...but that could be because they have some really cute stuff in the boutique part of the salon and I ended up buying somethings on top on my color and cut purchase.

Not only is Victoria great, but from what I have observed, all the stylists are great. Have seen many happy customers.

Being in television for almost 20 years, there's little i haven't heard in the way of techniques or products. I learned alot from my stylist Laura on my first visit. I got highlights and a cut and was out in an hour and a half which is a huge time saver for me. Charlie the owner is very hands on, and everyone he hires is top notch. The salon is very upscale yet all the services are affordable. Laura, who's been in the industry almost 20 years had lots of ideas about products and new styling tips to try on my short hair to shake things up a bit.. Loved it...and I will be back!

Kerry was absolutely wonderful! She styled my hair even better than I had pictured. It was just an overall pleasant experience. She really listened to what I wanted for my hair and was respectful of my time. I was there half the time of other salons and really wasn't ready to leave because of the great unique shopping they have in the store. No more looking for me because I finally found my last stylist!

I moved to Austin from Chicago in 2006. I have struggled to find a Stylist with not only the expertise to cut curly hair but also have the experience to execute the style I want. My hair is medium curly - enough to frizz on the slightest hint of humidity.

Kerry Cobb just started cutting my hair about 6 weeks ago. She was recommended to me by my wife, daughter, and daughter-in- law. You might say she has become our "family appearance consultant". Really, it says a lot that we are all very pleased with Kerry and are very pleased with her work.

Kerry's work is great, attitude is upbeat, and you feel like you got your money's worth when you leave. I highly recommend Kerry to work on your hair! And guys, they have a big TV mounted on the wall for your favorite sports viewing while Kerry cuts your hair. YES, they have the GOLF CHANNEL.

Go see Kerry. You will look better.

I went in for a brow wax, a little apprehensive about trying out a new place. I was quickly put at ease by the very relaxed atmosphere and very professional staff. Unlike most places I've tried, there was no public announcement to everyone in the county that I was there for a wax. I'm a dude and dude's aren't supposed to get things waxed (or at least we're not intended to admit it publicly). Jennifer took her time, assessed the situation like the expert she is, and did a fantastic job cleaning me up...enough off, but not too much...gotta still look like a dude when I walk out the door. The room was very peaceful...soothing music, comfortable temperature, and the wax itself was as close to pain free as it gets. Best of all, no massive redness and swelling when I walked out the door. Couldnt' have gone better and I will definitely go back. Highly recommend Jennifer and Skye Salon.

I've never been totally satisfied with an eyebrow wax - until I started going to Skye. I've been going to Jennifer for about 2 months now and she's AWESOME! No redness, splotchiness, or itching. HIGHLY recommend coming in to see her.

Jessica is the stylist I see and I LOVE the job she does! My hair always comes out looking AMAZING.

If either of these two were to leave Skye, I'd follow them to their next salon - I'm THAT pleased with their service!

i just moved to the austin area and was looking for a new salon and happened to try sky salon. i just took my chances with the first available appt. for color and got Rebekah. I was very nervous at first having my hair done by someone new, my hair is kind of damaged and i needed highlights. she did a great job and my hair felt amazing afterwards. I will definilty keep going back. Rebekah did an awesome job, i've gotten so many compliments on my hair.

I get my hair cut and colored by Victoria at Sky Salon and have been happy every time. I change my hair color and cut around all of the time and she always knows exactly what to do and I always always love the end product! She is also great with my curly hair, which I know is hard to find. She is the best colorist I have been to and I have been dying my hair for years!

Rebekah saved my hair!! I had a dreadful cut and color with another stylist and I went to Rebekah nearly in tears to see if she could fix it. She got to work with surgeon like precision and carefully corrected my color AND my cut. I have been going to her now for about a year and I LOVE my hair every time I leave. She's located at Skye which is an awesome salon with a boutique store front. Very cute couture clothing and jewelry. Check it out and ask for Rebekah Glanville!!

Kerry is so great at cutting my hair. She and the rest of the staff at Skye are so flexable with appointments. I am from California so you know I have to have sick hair and this is the only place that i will let tuch it. Kerry is a really cool Texas lady that takes care of me even though im from Cali. Get ur hair cut by Kerry and people will notice!

This is tough to admit, but I am starting to get some gray in my hair. I wouldn't dare go to the store and buy Just for Men. I go to Laura for my haircuts and she suggested putting some color in my hair. I was skeptical at first, but I said, what the hell. The results were amazing. I have received many compliments on my hair since I did it. I recommend Laura not only for her men's haircuts, but for color.

I go to get my haircut at Skye. My stylist told me that they do hair removal. I made an appointment with Jennifer for a back wax. She was very professional and thorough. Although this only my 2nd time getting waxed, I highly recommend her to anyone looking for waxing services. Jennifer is great!

NW Austin has traditionally suffered from a lack of experienced, skilled and professional hair stylists for men. Barbershop cuts have never been for me and traveling downtown for professional stylists was becoming a pain...

But no more -- Skye Salon is the best in North West Austin.

I was lucky enough to find Laura, who hails from the metropolis of hair -- L.A. Laura is extremely skilled, professional and just as importantly a genuinely nice individual. All the staff and personnel are exceptionally friendly and professional.

As can be deduced by my moniker, nanaever, I'm advancing in years a bit, being past the time where I can pull off very well having a long mane. Some women can sport long hair when they're getting older, but I found that more often than not, to get ready to go somewhere I was pulling my hair back or putting it up. My face can't pull that off, and needs the soft framing of a quicker to style shorter cut. Miranda at Skye really "gets" older women, understanding that we don't all want the "menopausal helmet." Her skill in creating a haircut that was modern and what I wanted is at a very high level! I can't say enough in praise of her abilities.

Skye Salon & Boutique is by far the best salon I have been to. My whole family goes to Miranda, and we all love her! She always listens to what you want, and is very personable.
