I highly recommend Skye Salon! This was my first visit and I am sold. I was able to book my appointment online which was so convenient. My cut and color with Laura was amazing. She was fun, professional, and I LOVED the result! I also had my eyebrows waxed and colored. I felt like a new lady when I left the salon.

I have lived in Austin for three years and I started to believe that I would never find a good stylist. I found Laura with Skye Salon and Boutique through Citysearch, and after reading the reviews, I decided to try her out. First, I was able to book online, and I received an e-mail confirmation as well as a cheerful call from Charlie. He not only confirmed my appointment, but actually took the time to talk to me about my hair. He was friendly, kind, and professional. On the day of my appointment, I walked in, and was immediately greeted with a smile and a "Good Morning" by Charlie! The salon and boutique are amazing. They have so many cute items for sale, jewelry, handbags, clothes, hair products, etc. I even ended up finding a cool present for my sister. Then, out came Laura, who also greeted me with a nice smile and the experience just kept getting better from there. She was professional, kind, hilarious, and it was obvious that she knew what she was doing. When she was finished, I loved my color, cut, and style. She also taught me a couple of great styling techniques that I can do at home. It was by far the best experience I have had in a salon since I moved to Austin. I booked my next appointment immediately. Laura is a fabulous stylist! Book an appointment with her! :)

I moved to Austin around 2 years ago and needed a new hair stylist immediately, so a fellow co-worker of mine recommended her stylist Victoria. I've been seeing Victoria now for 2 years and I am always impressed. She is a very talented stylist and such a sweet girl, she always listens to what I want and also gives her opinion on what she thinks would work best for my hair. She highlights and cuts my hair and its always beautiful, Thank you Victoria!

Kerry at Skye Salon is an angel on earth. At 51 y/o, I have had long, thick, curly hair my whole life. People have always complemented me on my beautiful hair. That all changed in the past 3-4 weeks when my hair started falling out in huge handfuls everyday in the shower. I learned that I had been incorrectly treated for thyroid disease, and that the abrupt changes in thyroid hormone were the cause of the hair loss?70% so far, and counting. It will be 6 months to a year before I can hope to have the thyroid disease, and the hair loss, in check. Even then, I will never have hair like I've had my whole life up until this point.

Thus, I had no choice but to seek my first trip to a salon in over 20 years, as what was left of my so-recently thick beautiful hair was pathetic to say the least. I had purchased a wig the day before, anticipating the likelihood that soon I would not have enough hair to be seen in public without one. I picked Kerry for my appointment based on the other reviews in Citisearch where other customers said what a ?good listener? she was and how she took her time to craft the best style for the customer?s needs and wishes.

What I experienced with Kerry far exceeded those statements. Traumatized by the sudden change in my body image with the loss of my best feature(my hair)?along with the real possibility of being completely or nearly bald before Christmas?--Kerry patiently asked me questions, and worked slowly and methodically to see what would work for me. My hair was not very cooperative with the blow dryer as we slowly cut it shorter. She must have washed my hair at least 3 times, and at one point I actually left for a couple of hours and came back?this was in order to let my curly hair dry naturally to see how the curls would look before cutting anymore hair. Kerry worked on my hair as if I were a family member. She gave me her opinion and then listened to my thoughts and wishes every step of the way. In the end she created a style using my curly hair?s ability to plump up and cover the growing patches of scalp that would have been visible with any other style. Though the transformation to a whole new look was a ?have to? versus a ?want to? Kerry?s genuine warmth, caring, and competence made it as close to a stress-free experience as possible.

Charlie was also gracious and concerned?occasionally hovering to check on our progress and see how I was holding up. I have never experienced this level of personal service and caring?all at no extra charge for the additional time required. I know that no matter what the future holds, I will be going back to Skye Salon, and to Kerry, to help me make the most of whatever hair I?ve got.

Brought my daughter in for a new teenage haircut and FITZ did an amazing job, He spent time teaching her how to style her hair and did an AWESOME job. She is SO excited, and you know how hard it can be to please a teenage girl. I am going in to see what he can do for me now!!

She really took the time to understand what I wanted and cared enough to get it right even though it took a couple of visits. My hair is now finally the way I like it and I get a lot of compliments on it. Miranda also does a great job cutting Ed's hair.

I had an incredible experience at Skye Salon in Austin. Kerry did an exceptional job toning down bad coloring jobs I had done to my hair - without any judgement! She is kind, courteous, and listens to your needs while not requiring you to talk non-stop about mundane things unless you want to. That's kind of hard to come by in a stylist! Not only that, she was great about taking her time and making sure I was happy with the end result - which was fabulous! I can't wait to go back to her again. All of the staff were nice and welcoming, especially Charlie. You walk away feeling like part of something and it's so nice to know I have a place to go to consistently now since I've been searching for one I liked for over two years! Can't recommend enough.

I came to see Kerry after receiving a HORRIBLE haircut and highlights. A very thick shoulder length shelf layer had been cut into my long hair and the highlights were orange, streaky and in no discernible pattern.

Kerry listened to my concerns and then carefully went through layer by layer adding lowlights and toning the orange highlights. She was very much an artist in how she cut my hair. Slowly trying to blend the shelf layer into the rest of my hair while keeping as much length as

Let me start with my phone call for a new client appointment, Charlie was thoughtful and accommodating on the phone. Fitz is new at the salon and the consummate professional, knew the right questions to ask and asked that I trust his judgment, which proved flawless. I have been in Austin quite a while and have tried all price points of hair salons, both uptown and downtown. This is the first haircut that matches what I actually hoped to get! I have wavy hair and usually walk out of salons with straight cuts that I struggle to grow out. I waited to style it myself before writing the review to be sure of the results and it is truly one of the best cuts I have had since living here. Jennifer the esthetician was great as well. Hurray!

She does amazing hair. I have been looking for a good hairstylist and i think i found the one! I found Skye Salon on Citysearch and decided to try it because of all the rave reviews. I am originally from Southern California and was so pleased to have met Laura, who is also from Los Angeles. She has tons of experience and an impressive portfolio. But of course the proof is in my new do!!! I love her and my cut is by far the greatest I've ever had! I will always come back for more and don't forget to shop the boutique they have such cute stuff great for unique Christmas gifts!

I still have not found a salon as good as Skye Salon yet!. Ive been driving to Austin from Houston to get my hair done for years now. Victoria is untouchable when it comes to doing hair and doing what you ask for! I love the products she uses and the customer service is a huge deal !!!

I have fine hair with very little body and was looking for an updated style that would add some lift. Kerry had some great ideas and really came through for me! It is obvious she is a perfectionist and wants her clients to be happy with the outcome. She gave me some tips for at home styling that have worked great. I never feel like a rag doll because she is also very gentle.

I stumbled into Skye Salon by Accident....but it turned out to be a GREAT accident! :)
FITZ - did a wonderful job on my cut & color, he really made me feel like he cared about what the end result was going to be. He listened to what I wanted and was also very honest with what he thought would look good etc. I really felt like I was in good hands...this Man knows what hes doing...I say if you want color done GO SEE FITZ!
Jen did my eyebrows and she was awesome, again she took the time to talk with me and listen, I think that is so important.
The owner Charlie was a sweetheart and really cares about your experience, he has a beautiful salon and everyone is very friendly.

A stylist at a high end salon in Round Rock was a rude no-show for my appointment so my boss referred me to Skye Salon. Miranda was able to see me the same day. She is extremely friendly, talented, and professional. She has a lot of knowledge knows exactly what will look good with my face shape. The staff is very friendly and professional as well. I LOVE the text and email reminders that I get about my upcoming appointment. The boutique is really cool to shop at while you're waiting which is never very long. Definitely the best.

I have been going to Kerry for over a year now and what I love about her is that she has made my look more current and has taught me tips for styling at home.
After my last appointment I stopped by a department store. When I walked through the doors the greeting I received was "Did you just get your hair done, Do you have highlights, and who did it?" The lady proceeded to tell me she had her hair done just yesterday at a different place and that she was very unhappy with it. She liked my cut and wanted to make an appoinment with my stylist when she got off work. I gave her Kerry's card, a great referral, and told her where the salon was. She was so appreciative that when I checked out she looked at me and said, "I feel like I really need to do something nice for you... thank you for telling me where you get your hair done." What more can I say?

Thank goodness for Skye salon. I had made the mistake of coloring my own hair and needed help immediatly. I called the salon on a Monday and the owner arranged for Laura, the amazing stylist, to come in on her day off and fix me. She was so nice and did such a great job!! I have lived in many different states and always dreaded having to find a new Hairdresser. When I moved to Austin a few years ago I completely lucked out and found Rebekah. She is the best hair stylist I have ever had, she is great with knowing what cut will look great and is fantatsic at coloring. I moved to the Austin area about a year ago and finding a new salon is so hard. I went to Toni&Guy at Lakeline and had a not so great experience, so I did not get my hair done for a long time. My husband found the Skye Salon and was seeing Laura Anderson for a while. I finally broke down and decided to get my hair done. I called Skye Salon and they were able to get me in that day, with his hair stylist. I got my color and cut done by Laura, and my eyebrows done by Jennifer.

I have never been more pleased with my outcome anywhere. My hair looks amazing I am so happy, and my eyebrows needed an overhaul and they turned out awesome as well.

They have such a great team there, and it was the best experience. I will never go anywhere else. I love them.

Moved to Austin several months ago and am thrilled to have found Skye Salon & Boutique! I met with Laura and have been scheduling with her since that time. Before moving here I went to the highest end salon in my city so I had certain expectations. She does a terrific cut and color... I highly recommend her. I grew up in Austin, and have been spoiled by awesome hairdressers since I can remember. A good haircut always made me feel my best! I have been searching for a great stylist in NW Austin, b/c I'm having a hard time justifying taking off a whole afternoon from work to drive to South Austin, to pay for a $200 haircut and highlight. Today, I got a fantastic cut, highlight, product, 2 pair of bluejeans under $250 and was in and out in 2 hours! I swear by Jessica! She knew exactly what my hair needed, w/ minimal guidance! I have been going to Laura for over a year and she is the best at styling my thick wavy hair. I've been many places including Jacques Dessange (rough and rude to me) and Urban Betty ( mismatched ends and roots) and she does a great cut, blowout, and flatiron. The owners are on the premises and everyone is friendly and professional without all the drama and attitude you see some places.

The clothes & jewely are different so you typically will not see them anywhere else. The owner is sometimes there and is very friendly. All that work there are very nice and helpful & make you feel special by always remembering you and treating you like a valued customer. The salon in the back is quaint and, Miranda, who does my hair is fantastic. She takes her time and always does a terrific job with my cut & color. I highly recommend her!

I've been to some of the best salons in Austin that boast foreign speaking stylists. They charge an arm and a leg and keep you in the salon for hours. Rebekah has been equal if not better in her cut and color talents. She is truly an artist and takes great care to give me EXACTLY what I want without keeping me in the chair all day. Prices are not cheap by any means, but they do offer specials to customers on occasion, and they also have great sales on products and give samples generously. They also have a great boutique that helps pass the time while waiting for a rinse out.

I found this place by driving by, but at the time they were closed. So later I got online and looked up their hours and found a 20% off coupon here on city search. So that prompted me to go back to check the place out.

As a stay at home mom, I was in need of a new fun style. The owners of the place (who were so nice) set me up with the stylist Kerry, who was so sweet and so helpful with guiding me in the right direction. She gave me some great highlights and a really cute cut.

Oh, also when I got home I realized the bracelet I had bought had a little piece broken, so I went back today and exchanged and luckily they gave me no problem. I think that was definitely the kind of customer service that makes me want to continue to be a customer there.

I was impressed with this place and do plan to go back. The only draw back is that I spent more than I anticipated, even with the 20% of coupon...but that could be because they have some really cute stuff in the boutique part of the salon and I ended up buying somethings on top on my color and cut purchase.

Was referred to Salon & Victoria by a Friend. Love her ! Have highlighted my hair from many many years and have moved around quite a bit. Have been seeing Victoria for almost 2 years and have to say she is the best !

Not only is Victoria great, but from what I have observed, all the stylists are great. Have seen many happy customers.

Being in television for almost 20 years, there's little i haven't heard in the way of techniques or products. I learned alot from my stylist Laura on my first visit. I got highlights and a cut and was out in an hour and a half which is a huge time saver for me. Charlie the owner is very hands on, and everyone he hires is top notch. The salon is very upscale yet all the services are affordable. Laura, who's been in the industry almost 20 years had lots of ideas about products and new styling tips to try on my short hair to shake things up a bit.. Loved it...and I will be back!

Kerry Cobb just started cutting my hair about 6 weeks ago. She was recommended to me by my wife, daughter, and daughter-in- law. You might say she has become our "family appearance consultant". Really, it says a lot that we are all very pleased with Kerry and are very pleased with her work.

Kerry's work is great, attitude is upbeat, and you feel like you got your money's worth when you leave. I highly recommend Kerry to work on your hair! And guys, they have a big TV mounted on the wall for your favorite sports viewing while Kerry cuts your hair. YES, they have the GOLF CHANNEL.

I went in for a brow wax, a little apprehensive about trying out a new place. I was quickly put at ease by the very relaxed atmosphere and very professional staff. Unlike most places I've tried, there was no public announcement to everyone in the county that I was there for a wax. I'm a dude and dude's aren't supposed to get things waxed (or at least we're not intended to admit it publicly). Jennifer took her time, assessed the situation like the expert she is, and did a fantastic job cleaning me up...enough off, but not too much...gotta still look like a dude when I walk out the door. The room was very peaceful...soothing music, comfortable temperature, and the wax itself was as close to pain free as it gets. Best of all, no massive redness and swelling when I walked out the door. Couldnt' have gone better and I will definitely go back. Highly recommend Jennifer and Skye Salon.

I've never been totally satisfied with an eyebrow wax - until I started going to Skye. I've been going to Jennifer for about 2 months now and she's AWESOME! No redness, splotchiness, or itching. HIGHLY recommend coming in to see her.

Jessica is the stylist I see and I LOVE the job she does! My hair always comes out looking AMAZING.

If either of these two were to leave Skye, I'd follow them to their next salon - I'm THAT pleased with their service!

i just moved to the austin area and was looking for a new salon and happened to try sky salon. i just took my chances with the first available appt. for color and got Rebekah. I was very nervous at first having my hair done by someone new, my hair is kind of damaged and i needed highlights. she did a great job and my hair felt amazing afterwards. I will definilty keep going back. Rebekah did an awesome job, i've gotten so many compliments on my hair.

I get my hair cut and colored by Victoria at Sky Salon and have been happy every time. I change my hair color and cut around all of the time and she always knows exactly what to do and I always always love the end product! Rebekah saved my hair!! I had a dreadful cut and color with another stylist and I went to Rebekah nearly in tears to see if she could fix it. She got to work with surgeon like precision and carefully corrected my color AND my cut. I have been going to her now for about a year and I LOVE my hair every time I leave. This is tough to admit, but I am starting to get some gray in my hair. I wouldn't dare go to the store and buy Just for Men. I go to Laura for my haircuts and she suggested putting some color in my hair. I was skeptical at first, but I said, what the hell. The results were amazing. I have received many compliments on my hair since I did it. I recommend Laura not only for her men's haircuts, but for color.

As can be deduced by my moniker, nanaever, I'm advancing in years a bit, being past the time where I can pull off very well having a long mane. Some women can sport long hair when they're getting older, but I found that more often than not, to get ready to go somewhere I was pulling my hair back or putting it up. My face can't pull that off, and needs the soft framing of a quicker to style shorter cut. Miranda at Skye really "gets" older women, understanding that we don't all want the "menopausal helmet." Her skill in creating a haircut that was modern and what I wanted is at a very high level! I can't say enough in praise of her abilities.

Skye Salon & Boutique is by far the best salon I have been to. My whole family goes to Miranda, and we all love her! She always listens to what you want, and is very personable. Inside is nice but not as "bright" as other locations I've been to. That may just be a personal thing for me. Could be more inviting from the outside, but the service makes up for it. The esthetician staff has improved in the last 3 months, and the front is a bit busy. My best experience thus far is with Jennifer. She works great with guys and gals.

Overall an excellent, and comfortable experience!

This was my first time going to Skye Salon & Bourtique since they changed their name from Aesthetica. I was able to book my appointment immediately during my lunch break. The staff was friendly and knoledgeable. Jennifer, the aesthetician, has had 10 years of experience and it was clearly evident. She was friendly, fast and professional. The space was clean and comfortable - even though the service I chose was not the most comfortable (if you know what I mean, and I think you do, girls ; ). I booked my second appointment and have already made a recommendation to a friend at work for her services. So excited to have found a new place, by work, reasonably priced! Yay!

Skye salon has given me the best results I have ever gotten at any salon! And trust me, I do not skimp on such an important "accessory" as hair! I've tried them all--Visible Changes, Avant Spa, Salon 505, and Skye is by far above and beyond all of these.
I hate to even share with you the name of my stylist, because I know if word gets out, she may not have any appointments left for me! But, I mustn't keep her a secret from all those deserving people out there who need to have a great salon experience. Miranda is her name, and she is a goddess stylist. I work in a public facing job, and even people who see me every 6 months comment on how great my hair looks now that I see Miranda. It's amazing. Here are my pros: Miranda is such a doll--she listens to what I want and is super easy to talk to. She goes that extra step to make sure its exactly what we were going for. There is never any pressure to do anything extra like buy a product or color my hair when really I don't need it yet. She really does what is best for me. I'm not kidding when I say make an appointment with her now, because if word gets out you may lose your chance.
As for Skye Salon as a whole. It is very unassuming from the outside, and you're not really having to pay for a super trendy location or furniture, but that's the beauty of it. It's comfortable and friendly so you can just be yourself. Don't get me wrong, it is super cute inside, especially with their adorable boutique at the front. They definitely have that southern hospitality that other salons are missing. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful--what more can I say.

Kerry was able to take me from drab to fabulous within about 20 minutes. My previous stylist did not take the time nor had the artistic skills to assess what I needed. Within a few minutes, Kerry was able to assess not only what I needed but work with what the previous stylist had obviously messed up. Kerry's talent became so obvious when I came back to Colorado and have been asked on a daily basis - where to you get your hair cut? And whoever is doing it now, you better keep them because you look fabulous and so much younger, sexier and alive (instead of frumpy and old). Hadn't heard that for over a year - did that ever make me feel on top of the world... Now comes the challenge - how do I find somebody in Colorado to give me the same great style? You folks in Austin are very LUCKY to have such a talented stylist - right there @ Skye Salon.

I have been going to this salon for many years now. They are all extremely friendly and professional. I attempted to dye my hair myself once and it came out horrible so I called the salon right away and got in to see Victoria within a few days. She did a WONDERFUL job fixing my bad dye job!! She was very patient and I left there feeling like a million bucks!

They recently hired a new aesthetician, Jennifer Mendez, and she is AWESOME! I get regular bikini waxes and she is great at making you feel very comfortable. She is very friendly and easy to talk to. Go see Jennifer for all your skin care needs!!!

This is a great salon and I highly recommend it!!

After reading many positive reviews on Citysearch, I decided to give Skye Salon a try. It definitely lives up to the great reviews! I was met by smiling faces and felt at ease from the very beginning. Laura was great! She had me sit in front of the mirror before washing my hair to discuss what I was wanting. I asked her to do something new with my hair, and I left with the best cut I've ever had! She even straightened my curly hair just to make sure the cut met her expectations. Laura is a great stylist, and she is also a lot of fun to talk to. I am so happy with the results, and so is my husband! I will definitely be back.

I'm so glad I found Laura at Skye Salon! She has perfected her craft and I give her all my trust. I have very fine hair but she layers it well and provides good body through the cut. Laura also colored my hair this time around and did a lovely job blending the blonde highlights in so that it's not shocking but it is noticeable and complementary to my skin tone. She knows what she's doing.
Requesting the appointment online was convenient and staff are professional yet fun.
It makes my day walking into Skye knowing that I'll come out with a bounce in my step!

When your hair is seen by thousands of very critical eyes on morning television, finding a great stylist is key. I'm really happy I met Laura Anderson at Skye Salon. She spent a good amount of time talking to me about where we might want to go with the color, cut and style. She really listened, gave me some good styling tips and we laughed a lot, too. She is very experienced and did one heck of a job. I love the color and have found the style very easy to fix on my own at 4am! I've gotten great compliments and can't wait to return.

Jennifer Mendez gave me a great shape and color for my eyebrows, too. A nice quiet place for that all-important waxing. She has a nice touch and uses great products.

I've been going to Skye (formerly Aesthetica) for about 2.5 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. I've specifically been going to Jessica at Skye for that time - she's the best colorist and stylist I've come across in town. I won't let anybody else touch my hair. She listens to what I want from my hair and then lets me know whether it would work with my hair type. The compliments I receive after a cut or highlights (I get a partial) from her are awesome.

Even when I let my highlights grow out a little bit (I know, bad) they look more natural because of the great placement. I would definitely recommend Skye and Jessica for your next cut and highlights!

Rebekah is awesome! I have seen her twice now and she is always so sweet and does a wonderful job on my hair. Thomas is also so nice and welcoming. He even let me decide what I wanted to listen to on the radio when I got there because I was the first customer of the day (Hair Nation!). I wanted find a good place to get a quality Men's haircut. I decided to give Skye a shot. It did not disappoint.

They were able to get me in for an appointment when I wanted without any hassle. They were ready for me when I arrived. The place looks nice, it looks like it was recently remodeled.

Miranda did my hair. She is very nice and did a fabulous job. She washed my hair, cut it, and then rinsed it again to get the hair pieces out. The cut was great.

I really can't complain about anything. The price is more than I've spent in the past, but you get what you pay for. I will return.

Oh, and mention that you saw the listing on Citysearch and they'll give you 20% your first time (no hassle).

Many of my friends were going to this salon for sometime but I hesitated because I was satisfied with my current salon...up until my hairdresser gave me a really bad cut and I finally gave in. I just walked in one day in December 2008, almost in tears, hoping that someone will fix horrible disaster I just paid for at my old salon. Receptionist recommended Cristina and scheduled my appointment for the following day. Cristina talked to me, analyzed my hair and then went to work. She did amazing job fixing my hair first time and couple days ago I went to see her for my maintenance trim, and she didn't dissapoint.

I moved to Austin in May 2008. I was in serious need of a talented stylist that could get my hair in top condition for my wedding. So, I looked and looked until I found a girl who had awesome highligts and I asked her who she went to - Jessica at Aesthetica. I made an appointment right away and from the moment I met her she had won me over. First, she was very welcoming and cool, making the experience fun and relaxed from the start. Second, she was very precise with her highlights, she let me know that she follows her pattern each visit and that actually makes the grow out look more natural. She wasn't lying, I can go way longer between visits than I ever could. And lastly, she recommended product that actually worked. All in all Jessica is an extraordinary hairdresser who will keep my business, no matter how bad the economy gets...she is worth it! :)

I hadn't done much of anything with my hair in about about five years and I decided it was time for a change. After much research, I decided to schedule an appointment at Aesthetica with Victoria. I had some grey hair, with a lot of damage from a bad perm, and my haircut was grown out. After a thorough consultation with Victoria we decided for a warm reddish brown color and shorter, layered cut. I left the salon feeling and looking better than I had in years! I am new to Austin and thought I would try Aesthetica based on their great location and excellent reputation on City Search. I have used City Search to find just about everything since moving here. I am growing my hair from a very short stacked bob. I have highlighted blonde hair and have not been happy with my color in years. The salon owner recommended Jessica to me as she is conservative in her cuts and excellent with highlights. I have never been happier. I receive complements daily on my hair and refer people to Aesthetica all of the time. I have also had the pleasure of seeing Stefany the esthetician who did a wonderful facial! I highly recommend this salon.

I had a mediocre microdermabrasion facial here, probably wouldn't come back for the facial. They seem to have good service and do offer wine. They also carry a wide range of Dermalogica skincare, which is a big plus. Maybe I just came on a bad day, but everything was unorganized. Supplies seem to be everywhere. The facial room still had left over trash from the previous client, therefore it wasn't clean before I can in. Yuck! Their decor is nice though and they staff was friendly. But I rather have a cleaner place.

I heard about this salon from my coworkers, my whole office goes there. I called to make my appointment for color and the receptionist asked me about my hair and suggested that I see Ashley. I met with her following day and told her that I needed something different but I wasn't exactly sure of what it was. Ashley told me that I need to deepen the tones of my hair to compliment my skin and eyes. She also told me that I needed to shorten the layers to give me some body. She did exactly what we talked about and as a finished result, my hair is perfect and easy to style at home. I appreciated her subtle yet direct approach, as she is the professional. She taught me what I needed to use to achieve this look at home. This is the difference. Ashley was great to be around and I am going back in 5 weeks for another session. Aesthetica is a comfortable and relaxing salon, without downtown attitude and insane prices.

I relocated to Austin 4 years ago and I have been in search for a hair salon that has excellent stylists, are courteous & most importantly a salon that knows how valuable your time is. I found all of this at Aesthetica. I was skeptical at first, but to my surprise it is the best salon that I've ever been to since moving here, maybe not as trendy and hip as Downtown salons, but talent and level of service simply outstanding. I have visited several times with different stylists & my visits were all great (seen Lindsey, Victoria and Stefanie for facials). The best thing of all, no waiting!!! If your appointment is at 5:00pm, they mean 5:00pm.
Victoria gave me recently wonderful, natural highlights and very easy to style haircut. I've never cut my hair short & was nervous at first and didnt even know how i wanted it cut. It worked out perfect!
I would definitely recommend this salon. Im so glad I finally found a hair salon that embodies everything I want.

I have to say that Aesthetica disappointed me. Twice. I was excited to find a salon so close to my house and even more excited when I read all these great reviews. I made an appointment for a haircut, and I was really looking forward to it. However, my hairstylist was possibly the most unfriendly stylist I have ever had. I gave up trying to make conversation. The cut was mediocre, and I paid over $80 for it. Even though my first visit wasn't great, I made another appointment to have my hair colored and give them a second chance. Once again, the colorist was not interested in being friendly (is this a trend?) and I felt like I was overcharged. Mind you, I did my research and knew the base price for each service. I just figured I would be on the lower side of the expense scale since my hair is short and fine - not a lot to deal with. But I ended up shelling out nearly $100 for a color job that honestly looks like box color from Walgreens that I used in middle school. In conclusion, I think my search for the perfect salon with the perfect hairstylist must continue...

I have been to several stylists in Austin and none of them could get my hair to the exact shade of blonde that I wanted. I chose this hair salon for the first time at random and Christina got my color exactly perfect the first time! I came in with some ugly blonde highlights and left with beautiful, bright, shiny,and very natural looking blonde highlights! She also gave me an amazing new cut along with my new color, I left feeling very glamorous! Got compliments on my hair from total strangers at HEB!
Christina is very nice, positive and listens to you, I felt like she knew what I wanted before I told her. She knew the exact color and cut that would fit me and I left feeling like I had a new, hip hairstyle! She also fit me late in the evening, which was extremely accomodating of her. Overall I liked a lot my new stylist, decor of the salon, friendly staff.

I've been coming to Aesthetica Hair & Skin Salon and have been impressed with the staff , the quality of the treatments and services they provide, and the prices they charge. I always leave looking great and the prices are very reasonable compared to a lot of other salons in Austin. The location is easy to access off of North 183 and the shopping center is well maintained. SO nice not to have to go all the way downtown to get a good hair cut and color!

I've had my hair highlighted out to blond for about a year. My old hair stylist recently switched to massage, and the new girl I tried after that completely messed up my hair. When I came in to see Victoria I had big dark roots and about two inches of solid brassy color where the other girl had messed up an all over lift. Victoria gave me highlights and lowlights that evened out my hair color. She also took the time to put in extra foils to get all of the weird color out. The cut was great too. I wasn't even sure exactly what I wanted to have done, or how my hair could be fixed, but now it looks like nothing bad ever happened to it. I am so happy to be able to look in the mirror and feel good about my hair again. I also got a 20% discount as a first time client, which was an excellent value. I will be coming back regularly. I went to Aesthetica based on reviews I read on this site. I was not disappointed. I have been in Austin over a year, but still didn't want to give up my old salon. I'm VERY picky. Needless to say, driving 3 hours was not economical, and I needed to find a permanent place here. Because of her reputation on this site, I booked an appointment with Victoria (one day in advance). Victoria listened to what I wanted, gave some input, and then went to work. I love the color and the cut. I will definitely be going back to Aesthetica from now on.

I found this salon via Citysearch about 2 years go, and my experiences have lived up to all the other rave reviews on the site. I have to admit, I'm very high-maintenance when it comes to my hair, and have been to several salons and stylists before finding this gem. My stylist, Cameron, is an artist with hair; she's ABSOLUTELY GENIUS with color and styles my hair beautifully. She's so thoughtful and thorough, and truly considers the placement of every piece of hair with both cut and color. I've colored my hair with Cameron numerous times (first time after a year of coloring out of the box -- yes, I know -- because of a horrible experience I had at another salon), and each time was truly brilliant. I've been trying to achieve natural-looking, multi-color highlights in my dark hair since I was 16, and I was MOVED by how PERFECT my hair color turned out with her. Not only is the color fabulous, but the cut (my latest style is much shorter and daring, Posh like) is exactly what I was looking for, and Cameron took into consideration my face shape, hair type and facial features! My boyfriend gets his hair cut with Lindsey, and the results are just as stunning. Every detail, every suggestion is thoughtfully and meticulously incorporated into the cut. And of course, there's the ATMOSPHERE ... friendly people, positive vibe, fun and interesting art.
If you're lacking a truly great experience at your current salon, I would highly recommend making an appointment here with Cameron or Lindsey.

I love getting my hair color done by Lindsey at Aesthetica! What sets her apart is her attention to detail, and her experience and knowledge of the color process and products. Every time I go to her I get treated like good old friend. She takes the time on every visit to talk to me about what we are going to do. She assesses the state of my hair ? the color, current season, how it looks with my skin and doesn?t give me ?more of the same?, like so many other colorists. Every time I go I am confident that I will have the best blonde highlights and all stubborn gray covered! This salon is also so easy to get to and is a low-stress environment with a really friendly and fun staff. If you are blonde, you have to go to Lindsey ? hands down, I?ve sent tons of my friends there.

I have been going to a prominent Austin hair salon for many, many years only to be continuously disappointed by recent high turnover and a continued rushed atmosphere. Not at Aesthetica. I have been pleasantly surprised by the relaxing environment, pleasant staff, great product (I love Redken and Dermalogica) and most importantly consistent haircuts, color with Lindsay and most pampering facials with Stephanie! My hair looks fabulous weeks and even months after getting a cut. If you are looking for a salon give them a try. I hesitantly did and was highly pleased. I hope to be a customer with them for many years to come. So happy I found them

I highly recommend Victoria at this salon. A recent transplant to Austin, I was having a terrible time figuring out where to get my hair cut and lightened. I was a little nervous walking into this salon for the first time. You know the feeling, am i dressed ok are they going to be snooty? But luckily I was made to feel right at home, greeted with a smile and offered something to drink. The place is cool to look at , great colors, arts, music. Jessica did my color and cut, and made me feel confident that I could style it easily at home. She took her time explaining what she thought would work best for me, but also listened to what I had in mind. I didn't feel pressured into buying a ton of stuff Iwould probably never use. She made me feel attractive again!!!!!!! I am a stay at home mom who hasn't made very much time for myself lately, so thank you Jessica for making me feel at home and put together.

I had Lindsey as my stylist and I whole-heartedly agree with her reviewers. She cut and colored my hair. I explained what I needed and liked in my hair, and she cut it in a style that continues to look great three weeks later. I explained that I didn't have much more time than blow-drying my hair in the morning and she sculpted a hairstyle that looks fabulous fixed and has great shape and texture not fixed. She spent the time to get my hair absolutely perfect. I also made the comment that my hair was too fine for a razor and Linsey meticulously shaped my hair with scissors. I am still positively amazed at the skill and patience she had doing it. I put myself wholly in her capable hands; the color she chose for my hair looks amazing even now that my hair is growing out my hair continues to look great. I fully intend to continue going to her for at the very least the rest of my school career.

I was just visiting Austin from Houston and decided to get a hair cut and highlight at this salon. They were offering a 20% discount for first- timers, so I took a chance and I am glad I did. Jimmy was my stylist. He was fun loving, smart, and I left saying ,"wow." He had me from the start with his shampoo and scalp massage. I knew I was in good hands at that point, and he suggested adding highliths to my hair. It was the right choice. The haircut was also the best one I have ever had. I will be back.

I decided to step in and inquire about their services and prices. The minute I came in I was greeted with delight and respect. Having had no appointment, Lindsey, took me in. She was very professional and had great ideas. I am very delighted with my new hair color and highlights. The atmosphere of the salon was non-pretentious and comfortable. My hair is very fine and fragile and I have experienced terrible breakage with past colorists and very artificial-looking highlights. I went to Lindsey and asked her for very natural, all-over highlights and she did a wonderful job. The outcome was just as I had wanted and couldn't get from other stylists. It was very natural and the color seemed to flow throughout instead of just at the roots, I think she said she used lowlights to blend it all in? Anyways, I will definitely go back to see Lindsey, she really listened to what I wanted while using caution on my fragile hair.

For the first few years I lived in Austin I couldn't find anyone to do it right and make me feel good and comfortable with it, and then I had Susana do my hair at Aesthetica. Not only did she do a great job, but was wonderful to be around and accommodating (especially with how long it takes). Here's the best part, she's always like that! I've been back several times to see her and she's just as wonderful each time. She really cares about hair and making sure people are going to be happy with theirs.

I have been to Asthetica few times and loved the experience, then I switched to a different salon when I moved closer to downtown...Big mistake! Finally I decided I needed to go back to Aesthetica and made an appointment with Lindsey. I'm very happy! She is very focused and attentive, listened to my hair "issues" and fixed everything in one visit. My new color and highlights are very natural and I had no problem to style my new cut at home. Being a recent resident of the Austin area (Round Rock), I have been able to experience a few of the so called "top rated" salons in the city. However, I have just really never seem to click with a stylist. Either the cut was a little too edgy/funky or the color would just be an unnatural brassy tone. I had just about given up, when a co-worker of mine, Brooke came back a little late from her "lunch" with absolutely stunning hair! Within minutes I had made my appointment with her colorist, Victoria. when I had arrived, Victoria made me feel right at home and really gave me one-on-one attention. From the first few minutes of our consultation, I knew I was in great hands! We went over some options for my "blond options" and I was totally impressed with our end results. The perfect mix of highlights and low lights gave my hair depth and dimension. She showed me a few techniques to style my hair! Thank you Victoria! You have a client for life!

I've been three times and I have no idea why I went back. The first time I went to Bebea- She was great, but is no longer there. The second time, I went because I had a wedding and wanted a trim and style. Since Lindsay's next client had arrived, I left with a wet head. While I can respect staying on schedule, you shouldn't scoot your customer out the door unhappy. The whole reason I went in the first place was to have it styled! The third time I visited I was in there for 3 hours because 1. Susana was running 30 minutes behind and 2. Susana decided to leave me under the dryer while she cut another customers hair!!! My highlights were ruined!! She tried to hide the fact that she screwed up by making jokes. I had to go sit back in the chair with another customers hair all over the place. (I had to pay full price.) It's funny that the employees act totally different when Maggie (the manager) is not there. Do not see Susana. You would think by reading the other reviews they are amazing. Sorry, I don't see it. I've given them chance after chance.

Susan is fantastic!!! I have lived in Austin and the surrounding areas most of my life. As a result I have been to almost every upscale salon in town. My first impression of Aesthetica was a little rocky because I couldn't find them (Thanks Mapquest!!!). But when I walked in a smiling face greeted me and the decor of the space was very warm, with nice art pieces around - stunning paintings by local artists. Everyone working in the salon seemed genuinely happy to be there. I truly believe any salon can have the ?look good? factor going for them, but I think beauty is only skin deep. A good salon is only as good as the professionals that work in the space. My appointment was with Susan, she took the time to consult with me she asked me questions about my daily life and what has worked and not worked in the past. She was full of ideas and it made me think of things I haven?t thought of before. She isn?t the kind of hairstylist that is timid. She really tells it like it is and I appreciated that about her. I left with the best color I have had in years and a very easy and cute new cut.

I have had so many so-so cut and colors over the years. There have only been a few that say WOW. So many times the hairdresser just doesn't get it or does her own thing anyway. Not so with Victoria. I started to have her do my cut and color just a few months ago. I was so lucky to get Victoria. She listens to what I want and recommneds the best color. She knows what looks good and consults in a very easy manner and tone. All my friends have noticed. I highly recommend Victoria to anyone!

I've been wanting to grow my hair long, but it seemed stringy as I got older. Pansy gave me a great cut and reduced my layers and when I went back, she showed me how to use a quick curling iron on it to boost it up. I never thought I'd be willing to style beyond brushing my hair, but Pansy taught me how quick it was to truly make my hair look great. She's also terrific with color and explains to me why she places certain highlights where. She knows the effect she's after and it shows. I get compliments on my hair ALL the time, and Pansy's my girl from now on. Beyond that, she's fun to talk to and gives an awesome scalp massage!

On the advice of my coworker who gets her hair done here, i decided to give this salon a try. I had been going to the same stylist for 3 years and was getting inceasingly unhappy with my hair. I went to see Victoria, and I got the best cut and color I've had in years. She really listened to what I was hating about my hair - years of highlights had made it one big chunk of blonde and it seemed to keep getting lighter and lighter - Victoria transformed my brassy blonde nightmare into very fun looking highlights with more of my darker natural color woven in. I love it! The salon is in a great location, and hip but not TOO hip. Very nice people and great service. Thanks Victoria!

In the past I would get nervous and even feel anxious going to the hair salon just to have my hair trimmed, not to mention a color. It was for good reason, they would not listen to what I was wanting or maybe they did not have the ability to do what I was asking - I was very frustrated. When I moved to Austin in october 2007, I was looking for someone who could do more than trim my ends; I was looking for someone who was trained, experienced and stays current with the latest hair trends and could give me the look I wanted and that best suited me. I was so excited to find Lindsey - she got it! She changed my color, added caramel looking highlights and gave me best "swingy" cut, kind of like that Posh thing...She is fun and personable; I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND her for your hair needs!

Aesthetica is a relaxed, warm, beautiful salon, wherein the stylists all really seem to like each other, and the salon owners are good to the stylists. All that translates into happy stylists who do great work on your hair. I have consistently received excellent cuts and color in the two years that I've been going there - have seen Victoria, Jessica, Cameron, Greg and Susana ... and most recently again Victoria. Additionally, I have always been able to come in with a vague idea of what I wanted to do with my hair, and also get gentle guidance about what would work and what wouldn't so much with my hair type. But perhaps most importantly, these folks don't just pay lip service to the "great customer experience"...you really do feel like they care about what you look like, about whether you like the services received, and even about what's going on in your life. Every woman (and man) should have a great and trustworthy stylist by the time she/he's 30...your odds of finding one at Aesthetica have to be pretty close to 100%.

I have been to the salon several times to see Stefany Green the skincare specialist that I followed from Avant. I would always rate her 5 stars. Her skincare and customer service is without a doubt the best in Austin.

Unfortunately, the salon is not a place I would want to frequent. The owner has an attitude and is the most unfriendly front desk person that I have run across in Austin. My recommendation is that she either find herself a front desk person and stay out of the business of customer service or she find a business she likes. As a customer, I will not tolerate being talked down to or being treated like a second class citizen just because she has a chip on her shoulder. Although I will continue to go to the salon to see Stefany, I will not purchase anything from such a business nor will I frequent the hair portion of the salon.

My hairdresser of 4 years moved out of town so I was left to find a new stylist in Austin. A friend of mine recommended Victoria at Aesthetica. The place is super cute. I described to Victoria what specific shade of blond I like and she got it perfect the first time! She also gave me a great cut that works well with my thin hair! I love to try out different hair salons maybe because I haven't found the right place yet. But Aesthetica is a place I can see myself going on a regular basis. I was impressed with the friendly and professional atmosphere. My hair stylist, Lindsay was great in explaining how she was cutting, coloring, and managing my hair. I told her briefly what I was looking for and she did exceptionally well in understanding and delivering the type of hairstyle I wanted. When she did anything else that I didnt not mention, she was very professional in letting me know what she thought was best to improve the condition of my hair (she gave me comlimentary conditioning treatment, just because my hair was in bad shape as a result of my Austin salon's explorations). I was also very impressed how there was no sale pressure at all. In fact, I wish I bought some hair product for myself when I was there. She gave me "at-home" directions so I can maintain the great quality of my hair between appointments. Overall, it was a great experience and I enjoyed intelligent conversations with Lindsay and the staff at Aesthetica.

I live on the south side of town and after trying nearly every salon here, I decided to head up north. With my hectic lifestyle (4 kids), I don't have time to test the waters. I found Aesthetica on City Search and read all the excellent reviews. I was not disappointed! I was hoping to find a salon that wouldn't just ask me what I wanted to do with my hair but actually tell me what would look best and not be afraid to try it out on me even if I was hesitant at first. Lindsay is a master of color. Finally, I have a color that looks natural because it IS my real color with beautiful caramel highlights. Even though I'm only 33 years old, I'm about 30% gray, so I had almost forgotten how vibrant and rich my hair could look. I will definitely keep coming back to Lindsay. She has a vision for my hair, and I don't want to let it go!

I found Aesthetica because I was looking for a Redken salon in Austin. I have now been going to them for a year, and have been cut and colored by 3 different people - Susana, Cameron and Victoria. The experience has always been great and always exceeded my expectations! I don't have great hair naturally (thin & stringy) and they created little miracle for me consistently every time.
My last visit was with Lindsay, and she has given me outstanding cut and highlights! She is attentive, paid attention to my concerns and requests. This place is a gem!

I made an appointment with Susana for touch up on my highlights and a trim, because I found her here on Citysearch, and I was very pleased with the results!! I just moved few months ago to Round Rock from Denver, and tried several different stylists at two salons in Austin, but had no luck with them. It all changed with Susana... She spent lots of time with me discussing my hair, shown me numerous magazines to find the perfect style to update my current not so glamorous "do". Left the salon looking and feeling fabulous and I will recommend Susana and this salon to my coworkers and new friends!

Having very thin hair, a bad haircut always reveals itself in no time. Finding Susanna at Aesthetica seven months ago has taken the stress of constanly searching for a new stylist and being dissapointed time after time. I have seen Susanna so far five times and every time I leave the salon with a great haircut, that stays great for weeks... She is very perceptive, accomodating and creative working with limitations of my hair. Last time she colored my hair for the first time and the color is beyond fantastic! Since I went to aesthetica through citysearch and this is the first recommendation I have followed on this site, I thought it was only fair taht I give my review because I am so extremely pleased! Being somewhat new to the area, I was desperately seeking a hairstylist that can color and cut hispanic hair - salon recommended that I see Susan.
I didn't know what I wanted when I walked in, but she had great ideas and I let her run with them. I got very natural looking highlites and very flattering hair cut. My hair looks great!
The salon itself is new and "very austin", and the other women who work there seem to be very friendly. I felt pampered and important, and I got the kind of service, that I would have been charged twice as much for elsewhere.

My last hair cut was fantastic but needed a trim. Unfortunately, the stylist was on a cruise ship so I had to find someone in Austin (my previous Austin stylist moved). Based on these reviews I decided to book an appt. with Victoria. I've never written a review before and waited before writing this review to give myself time to get used to the cut. Since the reviews prompted me to try this salon I felt I should write a review to at least remind everyone to take what you read with a grain of salt.

The framework was in place and this should have been a trim but the layers are uneven (a big chunk was cut on one side and some of the long layered bangs were cut off). So when the hair falls naturally it looks uneven and doesn't feel weighted properly. This is a pretty common cut but I have light fine hair so if the right technique isn't used, the cut will show it. I would have to rate this at best as "okay" and on par with a discount salon. I'm stuck with an unflattering style for a while while it grows out enough to get fixed. Next time I think I'll stop someone on the street and find out who they go to.

OK. I waited a couple weeks before writing this review for Susana and Aesthetica, just to be sure. I was a first time customer...looking for a good, natural looking highligths, and shortish, easy to maintain, and "current" haircut. Firstly, Susana was great - she listened to my goal - even looked at some photos I brought in. She then explained to me the realities of my hair (thickness, etc.) versus the hair of the models in the pictures and she was very tactful... As she worked and got familiar with my hair growth patterns, she slightly adjusted her (and thru quick discussion, my) goal and was always thinking about the next step - what would work best FOR ME. Needless to say, I got a really great highlights and cut by a friendly, funny and talented pro. But even better, I was able to duplicate the same "messy" look the next day by myself. Yeah, really. And now, two weeks later, my haircut is still "doing what it is supposed to do", which is truly the measure of a great cut.
Thanks to Susana and also to the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely be becoming a regular.

I showed up a half hour late and they didn't even flinch. They welcomed me in, offered me something to drink, Susana gave me beautiful highlights, followed by a super nice cut. Everyone was so sweet! I've gone to many salons where everyone was so into themselves they couldn't pull their heads out of their asses to strike up some friendly conversation. She also shared tons of tips about how to keep my hair looking good. Go here, you wont regret it!

This is one of the nicest salons in Austin! Great atmosphere, beautiful artwork, friendly staff, very attentive. I got my cut and color by Victoria. She was excellent. I was lookin for more volume to my hair, which is very thin, and the layered cut was perfect, just the right length and amount of layering. For the highlighting, i wanted soemthing natural with my dark hair, but without coming out like orange streaks. She showed me samples of what the color would turn out to be. I didn't expect much from them since they usually don't turn out like the samples, but they were exactly what I'd wanted. I'm so so extremely pleased! Finally a nice salon that's worth the money...I am definitely going to be a regular here.

I won a gift certificate at a silent auction for a haircut at Aesthetica. I am not one to spend big bucks on my hair, so I was looking forward to my visit. I asked for a stylist who does well with curly hair, and was given an appointment with Bebea. She was GREAT! My hair hasn't looked this good walking out of a salon in YEARS! Lots of curl, good shape and movement. The products she used were great, too. Yes, I'm a convert; since I only get my hair cut every four to six months, I think the price tag sans gift certificate will be well worth the expense! Shop is beautiful, and staff is nice as well. Walked out with a huge smile on my face!

Having been in this city for 2 years and suffering through one bad haircut after another from different salons that pass themselves off swanky but just end up being overpriced, I was a little hesitant about trying Aesthetica. But it's close to my house and the other reviews on Citysearch convinced me it was worth a try. I had a fantastic experience with Bebe: she was really friendly, was honest with me about what she thought would or wouldn't work with my hair, and told me exactly what she was going to do through each step along the way. Best of all, she took her time and honestly seemed to care whether I or not I was happy with the results -- and I definitely was. Aesthetica and Bebe have found a new loyal customer in me.

Victoria at Aesthetica is fantastic. She spent time discussing my hair with me, examining its texture, and asking about my lifestyle to determine the best cut. This is literally the best haircut I have ever had - Victoria gave me exactly what I wanted, but it is totally different from what has been done in the past.

My hair is shoulder-length, wavy (can be full-on curly or blown straight) and fine. She cut it so that it still has some length, so I can pin it up if I want to, but it has a clear style and shape to it. It can look either polished or touseled - the perfect balance between professional and fun. AND - I am the laziest person when it comes to blowdrying and styling my hair - so the fact that I can wake up, comb out my hair, wet my fingers and run them through and I'm done, is my dream come true.

I went to this salon after a recommendation from a friend (this was a few months ago). I thought I would give it a try. The salon & the setting itself are very nice & presentable & parking is no problem.The two colorists that I dealt with were not so nice.I wanted a natural looking color similar to my own but maybe not quite so dark. I specifically asked that no shade of "reddish or brassy blonde" be used on my hair.After all was said & done my hair actually came out looking very orange (I am normally a blonde).I am not sure if it is lack of experience or just age in general that made the colorists so argumentative.I was told that it was exactly what I asked for & there wasn't anything else to be done. I was not offered any kind of corrective coloring or any other kind of follow-up appointment.The colorist that I had kept telling me that I asked her to do my hair that way.Orange? She kept saying that she had "tons" of experience under her belt & would never have done anything that was not asked of her, that it was my fault.She actually said those words "it's your fault because that is the color you asked for".The manager came over & indicated that I should give it a few days. I left the salon almost in tears.When I went back a couple of days later I received much the same response as before.This time I felt like I was being "bullied" by people that felt they were younger,smarter,& trendier (my twenties are only a couple of months behind me too!).The colorists (two) & manager all came across as if they worked in a very high end boutique & did not need to worry about the needs of a single client. No matter how many times I protested that the color was wrong, not once did any one of them offer to fix my hair. I felt, & still feel, that this salon & the colorists were a complete waste of my time and resources. I would not recommend this salon to anybody for any reason at all.

I've never had anyone cut my hair like Bebea. Her hands have a quiet command that produce beautiful haircuts- I'm happy to say I'm wearing one.
Everything about my experience was great- clean salon and inviting atmosphere, super-talented hairstylists (everywhere I looked, the hair was exceptional), service oriented staff, even the music was cool and interesting - 80's?. I was very happy to find Aesthetica, and will surely return.

I have been a loyal client of Vicoria's for about eight months. Her expertise of current color trends and hair styles are always right on point. Additionally, she will shoot straight with you about looks that flatter and others that might do the opposite. Informative and concise, she is on the cutting edge of what--I'd consider--most people look for when seeking out a hair stylist. I'd recommend her to everyone......whether age 18 or age 80....she simply has this innate feel for what her clients are wanting to achieve. Plus she's kind and generous and always tries to make as much time as she possibly can for her clients. That's why I've kept coming back...

Listen if you are salon hopping head to Aesthetica. After reading reviews on CitySearch, it sounded just like the kind of salon I've been looking for. And it was. Everyone was friendly and easy going; the atmosphere was comfortable yet classy. Greg was my stylist - He was very professional yet really easy to talk to. Most importantly, he was able to work with my fine hair. The through consultation ensured that we both were on the same page. No other stylist has made me feel this trusting in a long time. The salon was extraordinarily friendly from the moment I made my appointment. I had done research to find a funky, au courant salon in northwest Austin on Citysearch and got what I was looking for. Cameron gave me the nicest color I've ever had. The cut was just average, a little too choppy and hard to manage on my own. Styling is her weak suit -- I didn't come out of the salon looking great. I moved to Austin over 1.5 years ago and after going to 3 different salons I FINALLY found what I was looking for. Cameron at Aesthetica is extremely talented and evrytime I go for a color/cut I leave feeling like my hair is amazing! I was never this happy with my hairdresser in GA and I went to him for 3 years! It is so relaxing to go there and I never feel pressure to buy products or anything like that. Cameron is totally honest and she really turned my troubled hair around! I cannot say enough about how great she is, but you should definitely visit her and enjoy the awesome atmosphere at Aesthetica.

I am loyal to two people in my life, my boyfriend and my hairdresser. When I moved here five years ago, I could not find one person who could cut and color. I hated having two appoinments, with two different people because it always took twice as long. I ended up trying six salons before I found Bebea at Aesthetica. I went to her based on the recommendations of other people on this website. She colored my hair, then cut it wet and dry. Afterwards, she styled and straightened it beautifully. My hair is exactly how I wanted it and it looks great! Bebea made sure that I was completely satisfied before I left and didn't try to push me into buying all new products. I have found my new hairdresser and I will be faithful!

Bebea is a genius with hair color. She transformed my tired, over-processed hair into shining tresses. The salon ambiance is great and it is staffed with warm and professional stylists. For an extra treat, try a facial with Blondie - this is heaven on earth.

I moved to Austin last Summer and after trying another salon with disasterous results found Aesthetica. I have been to see Cameron at Aestherica for 5 or 6 visits for color (weave) and cut. She is fantastic and I definately recommend Cameron and this salon.

I have been going here since I happened to win an appointment in a silent auction about a year ago. Bebe, my stylist, is not only extremely talented and listens very well to exactly what you want, but is very easy going and never makes you feel on edge like many upscale salons you go to. I am always happy with my end result and am able to maintain my look as well. I would (and have) recommended this salon to anyone looking for good pricing and excellent service. After having several stylists ruin my hair after deciding to "do their own thing", Aesthetica is a breath of fresh air.

I came to the salon not knowing what to expect, however, I was pleasantly suprised by how talented and professional my hair stylist, Victoria, was. Not only did she highlight my hair the color blonde I wanted, she even got the hair cut down too. It takes a good while (1hr+) to drive to get my hair done, but it's well worth the trip!

I recently had my hair done at Aesthetica by Victoria, she is a great stylist who has a lot of talent. She listens very well to what you want and works quickly, I highly recommend her. The salon is beautiful and very warm feeling. I had a great experience, i will be back!

This place is so great! It's clean, cute and a wonderful overall experience. Victoria did my hair and it was everything I was looking for. I have had a lot of experiences where the hair dresser does not listen to what you want, but Victoria makes sure that she understands exactly what you want. I have never had more compliments on my hair! The staff here is excellent, the customer service is excelllent, as soon as you walk in they are offering you something to drink and making sure that you are comfortable and want to make sure your visit is as pleasurable as possible!

I just recently tried Aesthetica Hair & Skin Salon for the first time about a week ago. I really liked the overall look and feel of the salon. Maggie is so good with her customers and always remembers them by name. My stylest was BeBea and she was fabulous! I have not enjoyed my haircut this much in a very long time! Everyone was very nice and offered a lot of suggestions as to which products their customers should try. I was also amazed at how quickly BeBea cut my hair. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes or less with the exact haircut I wanted. BeBea pays close attention to detail and gives you exactly what you ask for. Since my wonderful experience I am telling everyone I know about Aesthetica and recommending BeBea everytime!

Victoria at Aesthetica is a fantastic hair stylist! She is so good at what she does and is very sweet, she listens to you and does EXACTLY what I want! She is Fabulous, and the Salon is adorable and a great environment!
