I showed up a half hour late and they didn't even flinch. They welcomed me in, offered me something to drink, Susana gave me beautiful highlights, followed by a super nice cut. Everyone was so sweet! I've gone to many salons where everyone was so into themselves they couldn't pull their heads out of their asses to strike up some friendly conversation. She also shared tons of tips about how to keep my hair looking good. Go here, you wont regret it!

This is one of the nicest salons in Austin! Great atmosphere, beautiful artwork, friendly staff, very attentive. I got my cut and color by Victoria. She was excellent. I was lookin for more volume to my hair, which is very thin, and the layered cut was perfect, just the right length and amount of layering. For the highlighting, i wanted soemthing natural with my dark hair, but without coming out like orange streaks. She showed me samples of what the color would turn out to be. I didn't expect much from them since they usually don't turn out like the samples, but they were exactly what I'd wanted. I'm so so extremely pleased! Finally a nice salon that's worth the money...I am definitely going to be a regular here.

I tried this place last week and absolutely loved it. I was told by a friend that Bebe or Victoria were great. Victoria cut and highlighted my hair. It was excellent. I am so impressed. My husband even commented that it was 'the best' my hair has looked in years. He never says that stuff!! Victoria spent a lot of time discussing my cut/color options. I booked to come back before I left. You gotta' go here. You will definitely like what you get there. Thanks Victoria!!!!!

I just moved to Austin. I have moved many times before. This salon is the best I have ever been to. Bebea did such a great job. The people are very friendly. The place is really clean. The price is very reasonable. I am very happy to find this place. Thank you very much!

I won a gift certificate at a silent auction for a haircut at Aesthetica. I am not one to spend big bucks on my hair, so I was looking forward to my visit. I asked for a stylist who does well with curly hair, and was given an appointment with Bebea. She was GREAT! My hair hasn't looked this good walking out of a salon in YEARS! Lots of curl, good shape and movement. The products she used were great, too. Yes, I'm a convert; since I only get my hair cut every four to six months, I think the price tag sans gift certificate will be well worth the expense! Shop is beautiful, and staff is nice as well. Walked out with a huge smile on my face!

Having been in this city for 2 years and suffering through one bad haircut after another from different salons that pass themselves off swanky but just end up being overpriced, I was a little hesitant about trying Aesthetica. But it's close to my house and the other reviews on Citysearch convinced me it was worth a try. I had a fantastic experience with Bebe: she was really friendly, was honest with me about what she thought would or wouldn't work with my hair, and told me exactly what she was going to do through each step along the way. Best of all, she took her time and honestly seemed to care whether I or not I was happy with the results -- and I definitely was. Aesthetica and Bebe have found a new loyal customer in me.

I've gone to Aesthetica a few times now and went to Victoria, She is absolutely phenominal at what she does, I first went in because a previous stylist made my hair way to solid of a blonde and I need some change to my hair, Victoria knew exactly what to do and made my hair look amazing. I would recommend her to everyone for highlights!

Victoria at Aesthetica is fantastic. She spent time discussing my hair with me, examining its texture, and asking about my lifestyle to determine the best cut. This is literally the best haircut I have ever had - Victoria gave me exactly what I wanted, but it is totally different from what has been done in the past.

My hair is shoulder-length, wavy (can be full-on curly or blown straight) and fine. She cut it so that it still has some length, so I can pin it up if I want to, but it has a clear style and shape to it. It can look either polished or touseled - the perfect balance between professional and fun. AND - I am the laziest person when it comes to blowdrying and styling my hair - so the fact that I can wake up, comb out my hair, wet my fingers and run them through and I'm done, is my dream come true.

I went to this salon after a recommendation from a friend (this was a few months ago). I thought I would give it a try. The salon & the setting itself are very nice & presentable & parking is no problem.The two colorists that I dealt with were not so nice.I wanted a natural looking color similar to my own but maybe not quite so dark. I specifically asked that no shade of "reddish or brassy blonde" be used on my hair.After all was said & done my hair actually came out looking very orange (I am normally a blonde).I am not sure if it is lack of experience or just age in general that made the colorists so argumentative.I was told that it was exactly what I asked for & there wasn't anything else to be done. I was not offered any kind of corrective coloring or any other kind of follow-up appointment.The colorist that I had kept telling me that I asked her to do my hair that way.Orange? She kept saying that she had "tons" of experience under her belt & would never have done anything that was not asked of her, that it was my fault.She actually said those words "it's your fault because that is the color you asked for".The manager came over & indicated that I should give it a few days. I left the salon almost in tears.When I went back a couple of days later I received much the same response as before.This time I felt like I was being "bullied" by people that felt they were younger,smarter,& trendier (my twenties are only a couple of months behind me too!).The colorists (two) & manager all came across as if they worked in a very high end boutique & did not need to worry about the needs of a single client. No matter how many times I protested that the color was wrong, not once did any one of them offer to fix my hair. I felt, & still feel, that this salon & the colorists were a complete waste of my time and resources. I would not recommend this salon to anybody for any reason at all.

I've never had anyone cut my hair like Bebea. Her hands have a quiet command that produce beautiful haircuts- I'm happy to say I'm wearing one.
Everything about my experience was great- clean salon and inviting atmosphere, super-talented hairstylists (everywhere I looked, the hair was exceptional), service oriented staff, even the music was cool and interesting - 80's?. I was very happy to find Aesthetica, and will surely return.

I wondered in to Aesthetica to give it a try. I was very lucky to get Cameron that day. She did a wonderful highlight-lowlight that I had many compliments on. The cut was done very well, also. It was easy to manage on my own. I came out looking like I like to look. That was more than a year ago and now I am a steady visitor to Cameron's chair. She is excellent. I also appreciate her maturity and professionalism. I recommend her for cuts and color.

I have been a loyal client of Vicoria's for about eight months. Her expertise of current color trends and hair styles are always right on point. Additionally, she will shoot straight with you about looks that flatter and others that might do the opposite. Informative and concise, she is on the cutting edge of what--I'd consider--most people look for when seeking out a hair stylist. I'd recommend her to everyone......whether age 18 or age 80....she simply has this innate feel for what her clients are wanting to achieve. Plus she's kind and generous and always tries to make as much time as she possibly can for her clients. That's why I've kept coming back...

Listen if you are salon hopping head to Aesthetica. After reading reviews on CitySearch, it sounded just like the kind of salon I've been looking for. And it was. Everyone was friendly and easy going; the atmosphere was comfortable yet classy. Greg was my stylist - He was very professional yet really easy to talk to. Most importantly, he was able to work with my fine hair. The through consultation ensured that we both were on the same page. No other stylist has made me feel this trusting in a long time. My haircut was great and I felt like a million bucks when I left. Thanks Greg! I'll be back!

The salon was extraordinarily friendly from the moment I made my appointment. I had done research to find a funky, au courant salon in northwest Austin on Citysearch and got what I was looking for. I wanted to surprise my fiancée with a non soccer mom due, and Bebea made it happen. She was fun and honest with my not so hip suggestions and was done quickly, providing the tools I needed to remain in 2006. My fiancée, as well as everyone else, LOVED it! I am going to use her for my upcoming wedding. Aesthetica and Babea ROCK!

Cameron gave me the nicest color I've ever had. The cut was just average, a little too choppy and hard to manage on my own. Styling is her weak suit -- I didn't come out of the salon looking great. Since I like to relax when getting my hair done, I appreciated the face that she wasn't a big talker. The salon is very friendly and comfortable.

I recently moved to Austin and I didn't really know where to go for a new stylist and I was quite nervous about it as well. I saw Aesthetica on Citysearch and I went to Victoria and she is a great stylist, I got my hair highlighted and cut and it came out beautiful! She took the time to listen to what I wanted and i really appreciate that because half the time stylists will do what they want. She is a very sweet person and I recommend her to everyone!

It's so hard taking the plunge and going to a stylist for the first time. I trusted the Citysearch reviews and chose Aesthetica, and didn't specify a stylist. My appointment was with Bebea and I can only echo what has already been said - she did a fantastic job, I never felt pressured to buy anything and she was really nice. The whole experience at Aesthetica was really nice and I will definitely be going back. What a relief to have found a great stylist and salon on my first try!!

When I moved to Austin I would fly home every 8 weeks to get my hair done with my fabulous stylist there. Eventually I had to find a local place in Austin, I tried about 5 places and was ready to give up when I tried Austin City Search and found Bebea. I FINALLY FOUND A HOME FOR MY HAIR! Bebea listened to exactly what I wanted, she repeated it back and asked questions before she even started! When I left I had exactly the cut and color that I explained and we discussed. She knows how to deal with fine hair and makes it look great! I am super picky and have not been this happy with my hair since I left my original salon. I am so lucky to have found Bebea and I will be a life-long customer!

I moved to Austin over 1.5 years ago and after going to 3 different salons I FINALLY found what I was looking for. Cameron at Aesthetica is extremely talented and evrytime I go for a color/cut I leave feeling like my hair is amazing! I was never this happy with my hairdresser in GA and I went to him for 3 years! It is so relaxing to go there and I never feel pressure to buy products or anything like that. Cameron is totally honest and she really turned my troubled hair around! I cannot say enough about how great she is, but you should definitely visit her and enjoy the awesome atmosphere at Aesthetica.

I am loyal to two people in my life, my boyfriend and my hairdresser. When I moved here five years ago, I could not find one person who could cut and color. I hated having two appoinments, with two different people because it always took twice as long. I ended up trying six salons before I found Bebea at Aesthetica. I went to her based on the recommendations of other people on this website. She colored my hair, then cut it wet and dry. Afterwards, she styled and straightened it beautifully. My hair is exactly how I wanted it and it looks great! Bebea made sure that I was completely satisfied before I left and didn't try to push me into buying all new products. I have found my new hairdresser and I will be faithful!

Bebea is a genius with hair color. She transformed my tired, over-processed hair into shining tresses. The salon ambiance is great and it is staffed with warm and professional stylists. For an extra treat, try a facial with Blondie - this is heaven on earth.

I moved to Austin last Summer and after trying another salon with disasterous results found Aesthetica. I have been to see Cameron at Aestherica for 5 or 6 visits for color (weave) and cut. She is fantastic and I definately recommend Cameron and this salon.

I have been going here since I happened to win an appointment in a silent auction about a year ago. Bebe, my stylist, is not only extremely talented and listens very well to exactly what you want, but is very easy going and never makes you feel on edge like many upscale salons you go to. I am always happy with my end result and am able to maintain my look as well. I would (and have) recommended this salon to anyone looking for good pricing and excellent service. After having several stylists ruin my hair after deciding to "do their own thing", Aesthetica is a breath of fresh air.

I came to the salon not knowing what to expect, however, I was pleasantly suprised by how talented and professional my hair stylist, Victoria, was. Not only did she highlight my hair the color blonde I wanted, she even got the hair cut down too. It takes a good while (1hr+) to drive to get my hair done, but it's well worth the trip!

This place is so great! It's clean, cute and a wonderful overall experience. Victoria did my hair and it was everything I was looking for. I have had a lot of experiences where the hair dresser does not listen to what you want, but Victoria makes sure that she understands exactly what you want. I have never had more compliments on my hair! The staff here is excellent, the customer service is excelllent, as soon as you walk in they are offering you something to drink and making sure that you are comfortable and want to make sure your visit is as pleasurable as possible!

I just recently tried Aesthetica Hair & Skin Salon for the first time about a week ago. I really liked the overall look and feel of the salon. Maggie is so good with her customers and always remembers them by name. My stylest was BeBea and she was fabulous! I have not enjoyed my haircut this much in a very long time! Everyone was very nice and offered a lot of suggestions as to which products their customers should try. I was also amazed at how quickly BeBea cut my hair. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes or less with the exact haircut I wanted. BeBea pays close attention to detail and gives you exactly what you ask for. Since my wonderful experience I am telling everyone I know about Aesthetica and recommending BeBea everytime!
