The food was really spectacular and the service was great.
We had the pesto pasta with prawns, the yukon gold potatoes and the sauteed spinach. It was dynamite and I'll definitely go back again!

This place has a nice atmosphere and great ambiance. However, I was not impressed with the food. It was just average food. They tried to make Italian food with a new age twist. They need to just stick to one or the other.

Decent Mexican Cuisine, although not up to the level of some other restaurants at the MGM Grand. However, if your meal is getting comp'ed then you can't really complain.

Poor drink menu and quality though.

I went to Las Vegas in Dec 09. I stayed in Ballys. This was not my first time in Las Vegas. In fact I go at least once per yr for the last 4 yrs or so. My friends and I were looking for a nice, semi-fancy restaurant for our friends' bday. A few places were closed until Christmas. Other places were way too expensive for it's own good and the others not up to par. We decided on this place to have a nice bday dinner before going to a strip show. The service was as expected. However, my salmon was way undercooked. It looked very pretty on the outside, but once I explored further, I saw the my salmon was like sushi. I had to send it back. My other friend had ordered a seafood linguini w/scallops, mussels. She felt that the scallops might have been undercooked as well, but she didn't want to send back another dish. BIG MISTAKE!!! Later that night, she was so sick. She was in the bathroom vomitting and had diarrhea. Plus, by sending back my dish, we were 15 mins late to the strip show. The plus side was that we got a very nice dessert w/limoncello shots. I told this story to my boss who went to Las Vegas for a conference. He said that his director and him ate there also and got sick too. I was convinced that it wasn't just us. The point of the story go somewhere else or if you dare eat here, don't eat the fish or anything that can make you sick.

Cons: The food

I went here for dinner on my birthday and it was one of the worst experiences in a nice restaurant I have ever had. My party and I were ignored nd when we asked for some help we told flat out no. They need some help in hospitality

We decided to sit at the bar and Kerry (you'll know him when you see him, he can't be missed) is an awesome bartender. The first thing we noticed was an amazing (but very pricey) Italian wine list. We had the Avignonesi Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, for $75, but we know it is $25 in the stores. When perfectly chilled at 58 degrees, it is an amazing wine. Fiamma's wines are all perfectly chilled. We were looking for something out of the norm and Italian, we were not disappointed. I had this incredible Kobe beef wrapped in Risotto that was lightly fried/crisp with a cream sauce. It blew me away! My wife had the short Rib Ravioli that she thought was unbelievable. Others at the bar saw our plates and all were asking what they were and also ordered them. Am I done with this review far from it. Next we ordered the Gelato, OMG WOW. After traveling to Italy, this is the real stuff! Pick three flavors, but make sure you get the "Espresso Chip", it will knock your socks off. We're still not done! Next Kerry brought over these small little after dinner chocolate cups filled with warm caramel that was the icing to the evening! 5 stars all the way for the food, the service, the wine, chefs, the owner, and especially Kerry!

This is one of the best dining experiences I've ever had.. The food is insane amazing, atmosphere is great and the chef is young and handsome (at least I think it was the chef). I would recommend everyone experience this restaurant. My personal favorites were the Branzino (delish fish), Salmon and the Arancine (crispy ball that has KOBE beef, ummm). Excellent!! KUDOS TO THE CHEF!

What a great menu selection. The entrees all looked wonderful. I had the veal Marsala and have only say - Bo no! The prices are on the high side but worth it.

My boyfriend and I dined there on Saturday night and all we both had to say about the food is that it was AMAZING!! We started off with the Mozzarella salad - tomatoes and mozzarella - and it was delicious. He had the Raviollini which had rib meat and it was hands down the best raviollini I've ever had. I ate the Spaghetti with the Kobe meatballs and it was awesome as well. We sat at the bar before being seated and the bartenders were wonderful, the waiter we had was ok but the rest of the staff was very attentive and the ambiance was great. I'd highly recommend this place if your looking for some great italian food. The check wasn't too bad either - it was about $70 for 2 entrees and an appetizer - no drinks. Well worth every penny though. We'll definitely be back when we go to Vegas again.

Phenominal. Stopped by for a last minute dinner with a bachelor party. I decided on this restaurant because the menu, while not huge, had a variety of flavors to offer. We had a broad range of diners, some very picky eaters and others with polished palates. Fiamma had something for everyone in our party.

Everyone thought their entree was exceptional except for one who, while he enjoyed it, was not overwhelmed by his spaghetti and kobe meatballs. Our waiter, David, was more than educated on the dishes, and offered recommendations that didn't disappoint.

Prices are reasonable for the location. The only thing I was surprised at was that no manager touched the table despite us having a large party and the restaurant being only at a quarter capacity. I work at a fine dining establishment and our managers touch every table at least once even on 500+ cover nights. I realize that we weren't dropping a mortgage payment and going for a three-course dinner as many in our party were on a budget, but having a manager stop by is the quickest way to get me to come back and go all out next time.

Hostesses and bartenders were more than welcoming.

With out a doubt, I had one of the most amazing Italian meals I have ever had while at Fiamma. GET THE SPAGHETTI!! You won't be disappointed. The description is: Fresh Cut Chitarra Spaghetti w/ Braised ?Kobe? Meatballs & Pomodoro....so simple, but one of the most flavorful things I have ever tasted...all of the ingredients combined just fit perfectly and exploded in my mouth.

I am usually not compelled enough to write reviews on this site too often, but I had to make an exception for Fiamma. I highly recommend checking this restaurant out next time you are in Vegas. Yes, it's pricy, but in my opinion, worth every penny.

I?ve never been to a place so hyped up, yet so disappointing. I went to this place after spending an amazing night out at Tao the night before. Needless to say, this place was below average. Where to start? We ordered drinks that seemingly took hours to come out, one by one. There were 2 waiters for our table and together, neither of them had a clue what was going on; one of them with a huge attitude and the other so servile that you couldn?t even ask him for a recommendation! Anything ordered was an ?excellent choice sir.? It took almost 2 hours to get our food; this is some of the blandest Italian food I have ever eaten in my life. The chicken was dry with no flavor. There is a spaghetti dish that is comical? you could do better buying a packet mix. Even the little things were not executed right; drinks with no lemon or lime, small requests like a cup of ice (asked for 4 times) received 15 minutes prior to getting the check. And the check! I have no problem paying up for good food, like Asia de Cuba or Nobu, but this was insane. If you know nothing about food, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. If you go to hundreds of restaurants a year like I do, then you will find the highlight of this place to be the decor. We communicated much of this to the manager. Why isn?t this guy hitting the floor? I would urge him to see what?s happening in his restaurant. It was comical, him asking us to come back and give them another try ?on him.? We don?t need free meals, but we do need service and food that vaguely excites the palate. Until this place fires their chef, shapes up their wait staff and the manager actually cares about what?s happening in HIS restaurant, proceed with caution. If anyone reads this at Fiamma, maybe you should try to emulate this Italian restaurant: Spiaggia ? This is a Levy restaurant. This is true fine dining with flare, not the slop we were served at your establishment. How this place survives is beyond reason.

Fiamma has got to be one of, if not the best, fine dining Italian restaurant I've ever been to! Everything from the ambiance to the expansive wine list was fantastic. The wait staff was very attentive, knowledgeable and always very courteous. But the main focus of the night was definitely the food! I can?t even begin to describe how delicious everything we tasted that night was! We shared the Straccetti and Polipo as antipasti; the Raviolini and Agnolotti as pasta; and the Branzino and Tagliata as entrees. Everything from the Straccetti to the Tagliata was to die for! The flavors all complemented themselves and each other perfectly and the portion sizes were perfect. Bigger than what you would normally expect to get at a fine dining restaurant. All in all I was more than pleased with Fiamma and I will definitely recommend it to anyone who knows good food and expects to get it!

My husband and I got a last-minute reservation from our hotel concierge and felt very lucky to be able to dine there last week. The decor is very modern and service was very good. The disappointment is the food ? everything was overly salty: breads, Caesar salad, fried calamari (also slightly overcooked). My parpadelle in Bolognese sauce was over-cooked and mushy. My husband?s rigatoni with ? portion of white truffles didn?t have enough taste of the truffles (may be it was too harsh to compare to the truffles we had in Bologna Italy). To top off the mediocre experience, we had to pay $5 for a soft drink.

A small group of us went to this restaurant on a weekend jaunt to Vegas, and we were all SO glad we did. We shared several appetizers, a lovely salad, and a bunch of entrees- all were excellent but I was very partial to the short ribs with polenta- couldn't beleive how yummy it was. The wine list was amazing too. My only problem was I was full by the time we got to the desserts. (Not that it stopped me!) All around, a great little place.

So my boyfriend and I still talk about the "Bodino", the most amazing dessert. Dinner was ok, I agree with the other reviewer who stated the portions were small and I thought a little over-priced as well. Tasty though. But the dessert is awesome, especially accompanied by their french pressed coffee. I'll be back on my next trip!

First experience, had the pork stuffed pasta, it was extremely tasty, but the portion was so small...not enough. Another friend of mine had the same reaction to the dish. Wait was outrageous, over 1 hour from apps to entrees.

Second, had a server that was selling the premium items to the point of rudeness. I ordered chicken, and it seemed like I was doing something wrong. Not the best experience.

Just got back on Oct. 13 and took my wife to Fiamma as our "Italian" dinner night and all I can say is Wow! The service from the start was perfect. We decided to arrive about 30 minutes early and sit in the lounge area by the fireplace and have a couple cocktails. The ambiance, decor, colors, textures, etc. in this restaurant are very well done. Chic but comfortable. The star of the night, as well it should be, was definitely the food. My wife ordered the Papardelle which was about the most fantastic pasta I had ever tasted in my life. The ragu bolognese sauce with this parmegan creama was just simply amazing. I couldn't keep my fork out of her plate. My steak was great as well, but if you go, definitely go for the pasta - it was simply spectacular. The ceasar salad was also fantastic. My wife said it was the best ceasar she had ever had and she knows her ceasar. If you're looking for a great Italian food and want a cool but comfortable atmosphere, you just can't go wrong with this place. Enjoy!

Fiamma is what Las Vegas dining should be. Elegant, Hip, Fun, and just great food overall. The ambiance here is straight out of a James Bond movie. The lighting and astmoshpere are done just right. The service quality here is top notch. Made reservations and was seated right away. All of the foods had excellent plating and service quality. Most of the food portions was enough for two. The one thing I would recommend is getting the Tartoffal for all you chocolate lovers. This is a great spot to come to especially before going to see KA. This is what dining in Las Vegas should be all about.

The overall service was wonderful. The waiter was very attentive and unobtrusive when serving. Highly recommend the tiramisu. I had the penne with bolognese sauce - quite excellent. My dining partner had the ravioli stuffed with flank steak. Very good as well. Make sure you make reservations and dress appropriately. It is definitely not your mom and pop italian restaurant. worth the money.

Our party of 5 had reservations. We arrived slightly ahead of schedule to have a drink in the bar and enjoy the atmosphere. We were shuttled to our table - outside of the main room into a back room. The back room had NO atmosphere and was filled with large parties - a VERY stale environment. We asked to be moved into the main room and were denied. My seat faced the corner of this bland room. The food was average - nothing great, nothing so poor to send back. The service was too friendly - trying to make friends and hang out with us - at all the wrong times. The bill was steep for such a weak experience.

would be appropriate here. Saw many at the bar. Editorial description is accurate. Add these notes: The wine by the glass is really a two glass pour. The pastas are the hit. Shared 3 - all fresh and top notch (at these prices they need to be) The shortrib raviolini is unique, and incredibly rich. It calls for a big red wine. Chocolate desserts are also intense in flavor. Even the decaf coffee is Italian Roast and very robust.
