Asia de Cuba

My husband and I went here to celebrate our anniversary. We brought our own bottle of wine, expecting the corkage fee. Our waiters (a team of two) were very friendly and helpful. We ordered the specialty items and were not disappointed. The Calamari salad was really good. The butterfish was absolutely incredible! We sat outside with a view of L.A. It was really nice. I've heard the inside is pretty loud, so I was glad we were inside.

Our waiters were so knowledgeable, we offered a taste of the wine we brought. One took us up on it, and really appreciated it. They never charged us for the corkage fee, maybe this is why. We had a great time!

Asia de Cuba at the Mondrian Hotel has great decor, designed by Phillipe Starck. The interior is white on white and the exterior has interesting giant sized terra cotta plants along side the pool at the hotel. The food can be shared as they are fairly large portions.

Be sure to try this place! Great food and atmosphere, a little expensive but in a great area for strolling around and taking out of town guests. Come on by!

i have heard nothing but the best about asia de cuba. it is in a great location on sunset and though i hate venturing in to hollywood, this would be a good reason to go.
