STACK offers a hip alternative to the many formal dining establishments in Las Vegas, presenting great food and service in a comfortable, modern setting. STACK is not your typical American steak house. In addition to steak, STACK offers classic items with a creative twist. The cheese-filled adult tater tots look like tots on steroids and the juicy pigs-in-a-blanket bring back happy childhood memories. Shake & Bake chicken wings are also available. The high-energy bar and lounge offers a full menu and speciality cocktails like Cantaloupe Mojito, Capirusca and Smore's Martini. The international wine list includes a selection of 150 wines. Reservations 7 days a week 702-797-7800!

In Short
The creators of Bellagio's Fix Restaurant return with a sister eatery worthy of a sequel. The dining area feels expansive, with high ceilings and undulating walls crafted out of layered mahogany to look like a red-rock canyon. The menu includes sophisticated dishes such as Maine lobster and miso black cod lettuce cups. However, Chef Brian Massie also adds fun with simpler items ranging from adult tater tots to pigs in a blanket.

Key Points

  • Modern Setting
  • Extensive cocktail menu

The Inside Scoop

  1. What to Drink - If you pass on the 150-bottle wine list then try a specialty cocktail such as a Cantaloupe mojito, Peach Caipiroska or S'mores martini.
  2. The Extras - Save room for desserts--such as smore's, ice cream cones or warm banana spring rolls--which are sure to please your inner-child.

seafood stack is amazing

by Kristen W. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 922

You should get a reservation but they will except walk in's. The seafood stack is amazing and presented so classy. The crab legs were huge and juicy. We have been there a few times when visiting Las Vegas and will go back.

Great environment, great food!

by Cassie L.

We had a bachelorette dinner here organized by the Light Group (owners of this restaurant along with many other clubs and restaurants in Vegas). We had a limited selection menu but what was on that was still high end food.

We started off with appetizers of which I remember most the hot rocks with the kobe beef. You'd set the thinly sliced beef on the super hot rock for about 5 seconds each side and it was ready to eat. However they seasoned it was absolutely amazing! It literally almost melted in your mouth. Most of us also had the steak choice (I forget what kind) but again, not a steak you need steak sauce with!

The dessert was a perfect finish. The whole presentation was put together in a classy but fun way which didn't make it feel too stuffy. The theme of the restaurant is Stack so the place looked like a canyon flipped upside down with sleek lines and curves.

It was the perfect restaurant to start the night off and our bachelorette couldn't have been happier.

Worth your time and $.

by loddyb

This place was outstanding. The food, the service, the atmosphere, everything. There were 4 of us, we all had something different and everyone absolutely loved what he/she had. I had the 24oz bone in ribeye. I haven't been to many of the places in Vegas that are known for steak, admitidly, but this was the best steak I've ever eaten, and it was certainly better than Delmonico's. It was cooked perfectly, juicy and very flavorful. I also highly recommend the adult tator tots. It's a-la-carte, so be prepared to drop 1 1/2 to 2 bills per couple, but it's well worth it.

Cool crowd good service good food

by kaya2007

We had horrible service from the host staff at Tao and deciced NOT to give them any of our business. We went to Stack, were welcomed with open arms. Good attentive service, good food, one the pricey side but that's how it goes in Vegas. You pay for the service, atmosphere, and good eats. Will be back again!

Pros: Trendy fun people watching

Cons: Little pricey but good flavors

Best Everything!

by gatorcheer1

I'm only 17, but I had to write a review ; Stack was amazing. I honestly can't see how anyone can write a bad Stack review. We were seated right away(we had reservations) although we didn't even need them as it wasn't crowded. Our waiter was a very nice young girl, very attentive. We ordered the hot rocks for an appetizer, which is probably the most unique food experience I have ever tried. It was delicious! My Dad had the roasted tomato soup which was ultra creamy and just out of this world! My entree was the 9 oz. filet, which was honestly the best I've had in my life. It came with two sauces, my favorite being the red wine reduction. My dad had the Stack hamburger, which he said was the best burger he's ever had. My Mom had the Pasta, which was so flavorful and creamy, omigosh. We got sides of mash potatoes and asparagus, which were wonderful. For dessert we had creme brulee and the chocolate cake, both beautifully presented and delicious! I don't think there's one negative thing I could say. The service made you feel like a king and the food was top notch. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Pros: Food, Service, Everything.

Cons: Nothing.

Great food, but...

by yumangj

It was my birthday and I had passed by STACK before and have always wanted to try it. At first they said the reservation I made online didn't go through, but were able to accomadate me. Food was great...but I when I was eating my dessert (i got the chocolate cake... yum it was good) I set my fork down to drink some water...And my water tried to take it away. When I explained to him I wasn't done... He set the plate back on the table and rolled his eyes and walked away... I know places like that get busy... but I wasn't even there for 45 mins... I mean... Did they expect me to swallow my food and just go... C'mon... One of the amenities... is People Watching... After my entree I felt rushed... Until I left.

Pros: Food Good...Really good.

Cons: Service... Boo!!

Good Food, Great Service, Average Prices (For the Strip)

by chillin2345

I decided to eat at Stack because of their price fixed pre-show dinner. When I walked in, I was taken aback by their incredible wood decor. The music playing was very hip, 20-30 something pop music, but the subwoofer to the sound system was located under my seat, which became annoying midway through dinner.

We were quickly seated and requested the special dinner, which came with: 1) Shellfish and Shrimp appetizer or Caesar Salad, 2) 9 oz steak (with a single potato chip), and 3) homemade donut holes. I got the shellfish and shrimp appetizer and it was alright. It wasn't the freshest seafood ever, but the taste and presentation was OK. Before the steak came, the server told us that the steak did not come with any sides and suggested I pick something from the menu. I picked the asparagus, which turned out to be incredible and perfectly prepared. It was steamed and tossed with garlic.

The 9 oz steak came next and it tasted great, at least initially. The steak was done to my exact liking (medium rare) and was nice and juicy. It?s served with either a peppercorn sauce or red wine reduction, though both were indistinguishable in taste. Though, one thing I realized later on was that the restaurant either used MSG or a meat tenderizer on the steak. My mouth felt very dry afterwards and I had that signature ?MSG? taste lingering in my throat after I left the restaurant.

Finally, the homemade donut holes were served for desert. They came in their own nifty take out box and with some homemade frosting; very light and not-too-sweet. The desert was the perfect ending to an almost perfect dinner.

The dinner only took us about an hour and the prices were alright for the strip, almost $50/pp after tax and tip (about average). But the servers were extremely attentive and very friendly. Overall, I would go back and eat at the restaurant again. Just remember to dress a little urban-chic so you don?t look too far out of place.

Pros: Service, Ambience

Cons: Value

Late night dinning with exeptional food.

by babashura

I didn't want to go there because of the reviews and prices I saw on the internet. That was the last night in Vegas and was too late and most of the restaurant were closing - so we walked in the check the place. We were seated right away, the table was private and nice. The service was exceptional - sometime there was a feeling that we were served by the army of friendly waiters. The food was very good, filet mignon was probably the best I've ever try. The portions are big though, so do not order too much. Groovy music made the dinner casual. The most pleasant surprise was the check that did not exceed my expectations as it always happens in most of the places. I have a but here - there was a bathroom attendant in the restroom which was odd. The bathroom itself is very small with two toilets and only one sink, the girl was staying totally on the way hanging out paper towels from the dispenser. There were 3 bottles of perfume on the sink and the line of girls trying to use the sink. I felt ackward and next time went to the casino bathroom.

Pros: Food, atmosfere, service, late dinning

Cons: Spesial cocktails are pretty bad.

Seafood Plus

by jndjr

This was great dining experience. If you're going to see Danny Gans or just staying at the Mirage, don't miss this one. The appetizer of oysters, lobster, crab (small size) made a perfect entre for my wife. Seabass on lobster risotto was the best. Caesar salad was superb. Great bottle of wine. Leave room for dessert.

Pros: The food, the service, the wine

yummmm!

by swimfiend

my friends and i had an excellent time there this past weekend. the crowd is pretty mixed (people in their 30s and 40s), but the place is high-energy. the yellowtail sashimi was really tasty as was the black cod. the waitstaff was so friendly and we even got free passes to jet nightclub! as long as you make reservations, you should have a great experience.

A high energy culinary experience

by ckofahl

We visited this restaurant in its third week open. The total package is still coming together but this restaurant is definitely going to be a hit. Seating and service was a little slow but the dining room is very large and during a Saturday night there wasn't an empty seat in the house. The food was absolutely on the mark - Lobster, adult tater tots, and Kobe burger (yes, worth $21) were satisfying choices. The dining space is very striking, with a "grand canyon" like appearance created by curved wood panels. The rock/club music and high energy crowd make for a fitting Vegas experience.

Pros: Great music, Innovative Cuisine, Awesome dining space

Cons: Inattentive service, Served a little slow
