M Salon

New to town, I was nervous about trying to find a new salon. I tried M based on the reviews on citysearch, and was not disappointed. Booking the appointment was very easy, and when I called, the woman who answered the phone was very friendly and helpful. When I arrived, then check-in process was quick and easy, and they offered me a choice of complimentary beverages (I chose the mimosa - it was perfect!). The interior was very modern, sleek and stylish without being stuffy, and there was cool music that wasn't distracting. I had a very short wait before my appointment with Huy, which began right on time. Huy had a short conversation with me about what I was wanting for my hair: some way to deal with the humidity & encourage my natural waves without going super curly or frizzy. After the shampoo, he spent a short time cutting, a much longer time drying as he achieved a super sleek & perfectly blown-out do, and then a short time cutting & putting final touches on my now-dry hair. My hair looked great at the end, and the cut was exquisite, but I was a little disappointed that the final outcome didn't involve any of my natural waves - which was one of my primary objectives with the haircut. My husband later commented that he loved the cut, and thought it was one of the best I had ever received. I will simply have to test the cut for "waves" once I style it myself! Overall, great place, beautiful haircut, but next time I will be more specific about the waves! I will definitely be back.

This was my first visit to M Salon, and I was rather nervous about switching salons and stylists. I got booked with Emily, who turned out to be fantastic! She really took the time to sit down with me, ask me what I wanted, what I didn't want, how I usually styled my hair, made a couple of suggestions, and then she gave me the most amazing haircut I've ever gotten! She also took the time to explain what products she used in my hair, what they do, etc. The cost, too, is ridiculously low at $60 for a higher-end salon. The service is great; the second I walked through the door, I was greeted, handed my beverage of choice, and even though I showed up twenty minutes early, they accommodated my arrival and pushed my appointment up! All in all, a fantastic visit and one that I will be making more frequently from now on.

Love my hair! MIchael is amazing. Sitting in his chair is like having the best seat to the best show in town. Like watching an artist paint or a sculptor sculpt...he is a true artist. Being a natural redhead who was losing my color, Michael has been able to get that color back for me, only now it's better. I've now got a few blond streaks & this multi dimensional look with different shades of red throughout. There are no cookie cutter cuts here. This look is mine. I've never trusted a stylist to just create a look for me without giving a long list of what I want & don't want. I don't have to do that with Michael. When I walk out of there, I know I look better than ever before. M Salon is the best salon I've ever been to. You just gotta go!

I had my hair cut by Marc yesterday and he was terrific. Tell him your idea and let him work with your face/hair and find a style with you that fits. My hair is adorable. Marc is fantastic with short hair too! (I find hair dressers hard to find when it comes to feminine short hair styles...he's great!) He's very talented. thanks so much for my new crop. I love it.

ok, i moved here a month ago, and could not find someone to take care of my hair. where i came from people would stop me on the street and ask where i got my hair cut, then i moved here. after several disasters and almost 600 in bad hair coloring, i finally came to this salon. michael is by far the BEST hair stylist I have ever met, or had work on my hair. this is the BEST hair cut I have ever had..he is a talented stylest and great salon owner...he listens to you.. wow ...that's a real surprise....you will not be disappointed when you go to this salon. he has hand picked everyone at this salon. tell them kim sent you... !!!!!
