My verbal consultation with the Office Manager was warm and friendly. However, I found out later that I was charged for services I didn't receive. Actually, I never authorized American Laser to charge anything to my account. I had made my first ever appointment, but canceled it within a few days, and thought that was the end of it. The Office Manager never mentioned another word about the fact that she had already charged the FULL AMOUNT to my name and I had to find out when Chase called to ask why I hadn't paid my bill. What a shock! When I called to speak with the Office Manager about this, she said that American Laser was still going to keep 10% even though I did not have one single treatment.

The Office Manager led me to believe that the laser hair removal and cellulite treatment that American Laser Center offers is permanent. After doing a small amount of research, I found that to be far from the truth. The FDA says that laser hair removal of any kind is not permanent, and I also discovered the cellulite treatments have to be maintained. This is why I decided to cancel my appointment to begin with. I had been misled and taken advantage of and I found out the hard way. American Laser was not able to keep the 10% because I immediately took action and alerted Chase to what American Laser had done. Be careful and do your research before going in to these clinics.
