We have the hard-to-find BOD POD system, which tracks your body composition within 1% of accuracy. Having just completed the ProperForm Personal BEST program, I couldn?t be more excited about the whole experience. I lost 15lbs and about the same number of inches which changed the shape of my figure. I was already a client but this "boot camp" really did it for me and those in my class.
During the eight-week program, we received professional guidance and motivation from their team of highly skilled trainers. The dedicated staff is passionate about fitness and nutrition, which they eagerly share. The group bonding made it more fun, easier to stay on track and was very motivating.
Critical to success was the daily monitoring of my food journal and the 6-day per week program, which alternated among weight lifting, cardio, Yoga and Pilates. The owners run a really tight ship and you can literally eat off the floors of this well maintained studio. Very client-oriented and attentive to your needs.
At my fortieth high school reunion, nobody could believe that I look better now than I did back then. ProperForm Personal Best is my fountain of youth!

I signed up for Proper Form's "Personal Best" Boot Camp. I was extremely out of shape and felt I needed to completely reprogram my mind and body to a more healthy lifestyle. I was lucky enough to find this gem on the beach that was just starting a new 8 Week fitness program. The facility is nice and immaculate, but it is the trainers and owners that really make Proper Form the best gym in my view.
The "Personal Best" program combined one full hour a day/ 6 days a week of weight lifting, cardio and stretching exercises with nutritionist counseling for food selection. I never knew there were so many different types of exercises!!! I did exercises I had never done before, like spinning, pilates, kickboxing, exercise ball, etc... The result is that I lost over 12 lbs of body fat and gained 3.5 lbs of lean muscle mass during the Personal Best Program. I went down 2 full dress sizes in 8 weeks! I lost over 6 inches on my waist alone and had muscles develop on my legs that I hadn't felt in over 25 years. Needless to say, when the 8-week program concluded I immediately signed up for another 5 weeks of personal training before I leave to Europe on vacation. ( I want to look good in my pictures!)
The trainers are knowledgeable, patient, funny and excellent in their profession. I could not have asked for better trainers than Will, Tiffany, Mario and Kathy, they push you based on your personal best abilities. I learned so much from Alan and Andrea regarding health and nutrition and from Mario regarding exercise physiology. The owners, Chris and George, completely cater to the client's needs and run a smooth, friendly, professional and immaculate establishment. The facility and personnel are first class. What more can one ask for? Lose 2 dress sizes in 8 weeks, that's what!! I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Just do it, you won't regret it.

When I moved to Miami Beach I thought 'how am I gonna find a trainer as great as my guy in NJ?' Well, Proper Form hooked me up! Tiffany Lam is the best trainer I've ever worked with. She is also the toughest. Everyday she continues to push me harder and I now have my body doing things I never thought possible. George and Chris are the friendliest and most approachable people and really and truly care about their clients health and happiness. The new website is also really great, you can make/cancel/adjust appointment online and keep watch of your account. I love Proper Form, it's the best investment I've ever made. I wish I could take them everywhere with me :)

I have trained with many different trainers over the years, and I have to say, Proper Form Fitness is my favortite place thus far. Everyone working at the center seems invested in your outcome. The owner(s) greet you immediately upon entering and your trainer is right there to take over. Not only do they concentrate on your workout, but they are concerned with eating and sleeping habits as well and truely want what is best for you. Great energy! Great people! Whether you are just starting out, or a seasoned pro, Proper Form Fitness is the place for you - guaranteed!

I have always (and I mean it!) disliked gym environment. Going to the gym was always something unpleasant to me. Thanks to Proper Form and its team this has changed completely. My expectations are usually high and Proper Form was (and continues to be) able not only to meet those high expectations but it has exceed them in every way. The gym is small and unique, just the proper size for what it is meant: get down to business and do it properly! And above all, it is IMPECCABLE. Super clean, fresh, friendly without being a social club. Just perfect! And the trainers are simply the best. High qualified professionals who devote their entire time to make sure you are exercising in the proper way, the proper form. It is very hard to find a gym like this. Thank you, Proper Team!

I eat well and exercise regularly but plateaued out and needed an extra push. The trainers push me harder than I am able to push myself and regularly introduce new exercises into my routine to attack my weak areas. I started seeing results shortly after joining and feel so much better.

Before I joined Proper Form, I worked out regularly but was suffering from a lot of back pain. My trainer at Proper Form has helped me adjust my work outs so that the pain has gone away completely. Proper Form is a friendly and caring place where your personal training needs are met. They are also very flexible with scheduling. Thanks to Proper Form, I am able to stay in shape - and no more back pain!!!

When I started to visit Proper Form four years ago, i was developing many aches and painis around my body. From the beginning, I explained my personalized situation to the PF staff, who were extremely attentive and helpful. Since then, my condition has improved markedly and I have learned a trememdous amount from going to PF. Now, I can take better care of myself while still benefitting from the progress that only PF can provide ... try it, you'll be glad you did!

From the moment I walked in, I knew that this was the right place for me. It is a clean, nurturing, and empowering place to work out. Oh and did I mention clean? It's beyond spotless! The staff and owners take great care to maintain the space and make you feel comfortable. But if you're expecting social hour, you'll be disappointed. This is a get-down-to-business type place. The trainers are all super friendly and great motivators. But don't let their smiles fool you; they'll have no mercy! I've trained with Tiffany, Al and Terrance. Each so different yet each so good. I have recommended Proper Form to many friends and will continue to do so because it is such a great experience that I know I won't let anybody down. If you're looking for a trainer, you must try it!

I thought I belonged to the #1 gym when living in New York but it can't shine the shoes of Proper Form. The cleanliness of the facility is way above any 5 star hotel gyms around the world. My trainer ?Terrence? dreams up new killer moves every week. It's never boring. I'm not one to write reviews but I felt taking the time to do so for George and Chris was a must.

I've been working-out in South Florida for many years and I'm able to say that Proper Form is well above average. The owners are extremely professional, flexible y friendly: they always find a way to accomodate my busy schedule. The trainers are also very professional. I work with Will Cameron, he's a very professional and friendly guy, always full of energy. The facilities are very clean and well maintained, fully dedicated to personal training . The trainers at PF are all about business. It is obvious to me that they put consideration into planning my workouts and waste no time while I am at the gym. I have yet to have the same workout twice after almost three months--I can honestly see and feel the results. I had always been skeptical about personal trainers, but these folks have proven that there are pros out there. I should have signed up long ago.

Having read many reviews about different products and services, I am usually guarded about what is said and try to collect much additional information. Having said that, when I relocated to Miami Beach I began to search for a personal training facility. Being in the quasi fitness business, I had an idea of what I was looking for. After going to five gyms and interviewing many personal trainers I chose Proper Form. My decision was based on facility, services, trainers and attitude. I can truly say that Proper Form has exceeded my expectations. You are not just "another body" in a gym. You get personal attention and everyone goes out of their way to make sure that each and every session and the scheduling is a pleasant experience. The programs are tailored to your needs and in a short period of time I have seen results. Excellence just doesn't happen....it's planned. Thanks George/Chris

I have tried a number of different gyms over the years, and this is by far the best. The staff are super-nice and very knowledgable. Moreover, and possibly most importantly, the gym is always clean and well kept; this cannot be understimated. Finally, while the sessions are not inexpensive, they provide tremendous value. Never have I worked out so intensely in a one hour session.
Pros: Almost everything about it.

If you are ready to invest in your health this is the place to be! At first you may think that the gym is somewhat small, but most of the time there will only be one other client there at the same time so you will never feel crowded. This is one of the best attributes of this first class place - the low key, relaxing and personal surroundings. Chris and George (the owners) have done a great job in creating this atmosphere. I have been working out with Miguel, who is nothing but a first class act, for about 6 weeks now and people are already saying I look 10 years younger. Wonder what they will say a year from now? GIve it a shot - you owe it to yourself!!

Basically, Proper Form (PF) is as good as it gets. I have used trainers off-and-on for ~15 years and PF is the best. George and Chris, the owners, are extremely professional, friendly, and hands-on. The trainers are also very professional. The trainer I work with is Terry Murphy and he is top-notch: a very talented, professional, and friendly guy. Also, the facility is dedicated just to personal training and is intimate, extremely clean, and well-maintained. In sum, if you are serious about doing some personal training, you'd be crazy not to give these folks a shout...

I've been working out at Proper Form for a year now. Every visit is a fun-filled challenge to improve myself (corny but true). Chris, George and the rocking trainers, including Luis (the man with my plan) are incredibly accommodating of my insane travel schedule. The studio is immaculate. The environment is completely motivational, no matter what your physical level. These folks make you SWEAT and, while my visits sometimes seem like an hour of punishment, the results keep me going back for more. Thanks to Proper Form for creating a place where I want to be, for piping in the cool tunes, running a tight ship, and for really caring about my progress!

I was a real couch potato until I started training at Proper Form. In Just a few sessions I am feeling much better and am able to do more. I really appreciate the one on one training and the way they tailor the exercise program to your abilities. After a period of illness I was becoming more and more inactive. Now I can feel the difference and while I realize that I still have a long way to go, I am starting to feel my abilities increasing. I appreciate the personal care. All of the staff are so friendly and the place has a good atmosphere to train. Not once have I felt embarrased, even though I could not perform optimaly.

Stylized,personalized training and with music to boot. Keeps you on your toes at all times. Chris & George are loving and compassionate people. My trainer Mary watches me like a hawk , and makes sure I keep in step with the exercises we are doing. It sure feels good to get individual attention and guidance and assurance that I am doing it right. The music that is constantly playing keeps me moving and in step.
Although I am tired at the end of a session, I leave with a feeling of accomplishment.

Let me be straight from the start.....working out is a means to an end for me.
I know lot's of people exercise for 'good bodies' and for vanity. Can't say vanity doesn't enter my mind being in the fashion world. However as a middle aged newlywed getting up to maintain my shape wouldn't be enough to get me out of bed at 5:15 AM .
.Watching my elderly mother suffer from Osteoporosis is what keeps me focused and reminds me that without a well thought out workout I'd be destined for :(((((((((((((. the same.
But not to worry...I'm really blessed having found Proper Form - the perfect gym and trainer for me.
I should share that I truly dislike noisy 'meet markets' and gyms that are crowded and dirty.
George and Chris keep the gym immaculate and are amazingly on top of their business. They have exceeded my expectations when it comes to offering great service!
Of course my trainer AL Lloyd is the BEST....He's positive, creative, focused and just soooo knowledgeable
about what will work best for me. Although I put in long hours at work and travel excessively for business -he has managed to keep me motivated, in shape and moving into exercises I 've never experienced (having worked out for over 15 years) with other personal trainers.
I hesitate sharing all this with the world since my workout at this special place has been my secret.
Nonetheless Proper Form deserves the praise!!!!

I have worked out off and on for years and I have never seen such a difference in my body until I started going to Proper Form Gym. Their trainers are professional and knowledgeable and enthusiastic, which makes a great combination for someone that is serious about reshaping their bodies. The price is worth every penny. The gym is clean, sunny, air conditioned and has a pleasant and positive atmosphere. It feels like you're working out with your friends, once you get to know the trainers and other customers!

I have been working with various trainers two to three days a week for over four years. When I moved down from New York a year ago, I started my search for a new trainer and a gym that fit my needs. I was repeatedly disappointed by the lack of professionalism and knowledge of many trainers- showing up late, not showing up at all, etc... What concerned me most was the fact that most of the trainers never corrected my form which I often knew was not right. In many cases, I felt like I was bound to get injured. When someone recommended Proper Form I was a bit hesitant but was very happily surprised. Aptly named, Proper Form and its trainers ensure that any exercises you do are done with the proper alignment and form. They keep the workoputs fresh and challenging and for an dded bonus they work their magic in super clean, fun, welcoming and down to earth environment.

Going to Proper Form has given me the motivation and knowledge to get myself in better shape and live a more healthy lifestyle. Since my first day the trainers have been positive, motivational, informative and innovative in the work outs that I have gone through. The gym is always clean and the equipment maintained. I have tried to get into a workout regimen my entire life and I never succeeded until I joined Proper Form. The facility is well run by George and Chris and the trainers are professional, well trained, interested and adept motivators. They keep track of your progress and motivate you to find a comfortable regiment and stick with it. The gym is kept meticulously clean and the equipment is cleaned between uses. Although there is a good core group of members, you never feel crowded. The trainers maintain a high level of interest in the clients they train. There is a good positive vibe that makes your workout easier.

I have to be honest...I hate going to gyms! However, i have been a client at Properform for over a year and half (3 times a week). The staff makes you feel at home and is extremely encouraging. I never get bored with the sessions. Each trainer has their own style and is exceptionally trained, professional and they make working out fun. I don't even dread going! I never thought I would be enthusiastic about working out but I have completely changed thanks to the support of the trainers and Chris and George. The gym is immaculate and comfortable. I highly recommend Properform to anyone who is looking to change their lifestyle/habits and get in the best shape ever. Just don't steal my appointments (lol)!!

Proper Form is definetly worth it if you are anything like me. If i went to the gym on my own, I would not push myself as much as my trainer at proper form pushes me. It's a great feeling to go work out and know that you have actually worked hard enough to be sore the following day. I also appreciate that the trainers at proper form are extremely professional and will push you but will always consider your well being most important. The place is super clean, good energy and motivating. I was one of their first clients, am still coming and intend to as long as they are open. I have absolutly nothing bad to say about the place - oh yeah, have lost 20 pounds of fat since i started and gained it in mucsle - looking hot!

I joined Proper Form when I was looking for a gymn that was customer focused & offered legitimate professional training services. I had injured my back & doctors orders were to find an exercise program that would improve my overall strength without causing further injury. I, being undisciplined & completely unmotivated when it came to exercise, not to mention turned off by the typical "gymn scene", was at a loss. So I was somewhat skeptical when a friend suggested I try Proper Form. But immediately after my first training session I became a Proper Form devotee! I can't say enough about the owners, Chris & George. The gymn is immaculate and offers all the latest & greatest machinery & training techniques. The trainers are professional & well educated in their respective fields of study. The environment is warm & friendly without ever loosing sight of the mission - to get us in shape! Over the course of time I've worked with several of the trainers, the latest being Andrea, (who is phenomenal, by the way!!) and can honestly say I've never encountered this level professionalism, care & talent at any other gymn. I've seen incredible results in my own body and now, two years later and I can honestly say that I can't imagine training anywhere else!

I've been a member of Proper Form for one year now, and I could not be more happy with the level of service from the owners, the professionalism of the trainers, and the cleanliness of the facilities. I train 1-2 times per week, and I have seen definite changes in my body. Most of all, I am proud to finally be able to maintain a routine, which is something my workouts have lacked in the past. And, Proper Form has helped me to become an early riser, which I never thought was possible!

Proper Form is the cleanest gym in town. The Equipment and mats get cleaned all day long . The bathrooms are spotless. The trainers are very proffesional and very knowledgable. They are very up to date with all the new methodes of training. Parking is available right outside. The clients are all very friendly and it is a light atmosphere . it is great working out here

I have been training with Al at Proper Form for over 3 years now. George and Chris, the owners, and all the trainers are extremely professional and customer-focused. They are so welcoming they feel like family, to the extent that I miss them when I'm away! Unlike other gyms in Miami which are horribly over-crowded, Proper Form have created a very private, initmate training facility with never more than 3 clients at a time. The gym is run to the highest standards and is always immaculate. Personal attention is second to none - I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I have visited many gyms, and started many workout programs, but I had never been able to stick with it until I started training at Proper Form. All of the trainers there, including the owners, make you feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. My two main trainers, Al and Tiffany, are both phenomenal - great motivators, fun to talk to, and accepting of my complaints about too many squats and lunges. The other trainers are also great, so if you ever need to reschedule to another time when your trainer is unavailable, you still receive excellent training. One of the things I used to hate about other gyms was that the machines were always sweaty and dirty. At Proper Form, the owners and trainers literally clean the machines right after you get off of them, so everything is always spotless. This gym is also perfect for people of all different levels. While I was completely out of shape when I started, my boyfriend -- who lifts weights and exercises regularly -- loved it as much as I did, and thought that the trainers were all top notch. We researched many gyms on South Beach before picking Proper Form, and they have lived up to all of the hype, and then some.

I returned to working out after a 10 year hiatus. I was very fortunate to have chosen Proper Form to help me get back into a healthy routine. For me working out has to be something I look forward to or I'll just find an excuse not to be there. My trainer Kathy Donnatto as well as the rest of the staff at Proper Form are happy and upbeat. In Fact "no pain no gain" may be true but they'll definately laugh you through the worst of it and you'll look forward to coming back for more. Did I mention you'll look great too!

Proper form's location is great , very convinient and the management staff is outstanding. My workout experience has been great, because I have achieve results in a short period of time and I continue to strength and maintain it. Trainers are highly experienced and extremely motivated which is the number thing I looked for in a trainer. I've had the pleasure of training with both Kathy and Andrea and they both are amazing!

I've always been kind of afraid of gyms -- in my head, I've always been convinced that people will look at me and say "That girl's so fat -- why does she even bother!" After having some health issues and being practically forced by my doctor to work out, I went looking for a place where I might feel a little less self-concious. I won the jackpot here. There are never more than three or four people working out at a time -- and when you're there, you're so focused on what you're doing with your own trainer that you don't even notice what the other people there are doing. There is a broad range of people working out -- everyone from my extreme level of un-coordination to people who really LOOK like they work out with a trainer -- and it seems pretty well split between men/women and has a good age range. Everyone on staff is really helpful and full of encouragement. I've seen a major improvement in my health and strength in the three and a half months I've been going. The gym is spotless, has plenty of street parking and is in a convenient location. Would highly recommend to anyone.

This gym and its environment are unlike any I've ever experienced. My husband and I live in both Toronto and Miami and we have worked with personal trainers for years but we've never been so impressed with a facility and its' people as we are with Proper Form. The trainers here are experts in their field and tailor make all our work outs. The sessions are dynamic and educational and the results were visible almost immediately. The owners have done an excellent job creating an atmosphere that is professional, friendly and motivational and they are a constant presence at the gym, welcoming feedback and making sure your time there is everything you want it to be. One of the best selling features of this gym is that it is wonderfully bright and ridiculously clean...spotless, really! We love this place and the people in it and are hoping to see Proper Form branches start spreading throughout the U.S. and Canada so we can workout to the standard we've become accustomed to, no matter where we are.

After being there for over 3 1/2 years I have worked out with all the trainers, and seen all the there is to be seen. They have been able to put together the most real set of trainers together, all are very caring and knowlegeable in their trade. The place is always clean as can be and if you haven't eaten they even take care of that. No fake fronting here, real good folks that are professional and serious about their work. If someone had a bad thing to say here, you should examine their motives. It's easy to hide behind a fake name on the net, and write drogatory comments about others.

In fact, TLC for new clients is an area in which Proper Form excels. I am almost two years into a membership there and am still highly motivated to continue. My trainer has a phenomenal understanding of how my particular body responds - and I am more than happy with the results. The place is well-equipped but small enough that you never feel lost in the shuffle. If I had the assignment to design a personal trainer facility, it would be this.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Possibly the cleanest gym I have ever set foot in. You will not be dissapointed with this training facility.

I have been extremely happy with Proper Form. I signed up 3 months ago, using a special program they have at my condo. The trainers come to our building and we exercise in our gym. From the first encouter, I was so impressed by the professionalism of every single trainer I cam in contact with. The owners are very accomodating, if i missed a session in my gym, they will let me make it up at their gym.
I have seen incredible results. The training is intense and not for the weak of heart. My trainer (Luis Fraga) has been a joy to work out with. He is very tough, pushes me hard, and gives me assignments for the days I do not see him. he also reviews my diet journal and comments on my diet. Occasionally I had a substitute trainer (because i could not make it to my session and my trainer was booked) and the 2 other trainers I worked with were as incredible. Andrea and kathy, both gave me a wonderful workout and tips.
I highly recommend this group for anyone who is serious about change in their physique.

Proper Form is a one of a kind training facility. It is not only a gym with equipment, but a place where the trainers care about each client as though they were family. Each trainer has a unique personality and this trait only adds to the environment that makes our goals an enjoyable part of each week.
You can honestly not ask for a better place to rest your body and goals in the hands of an establishment who truely care with trained and educated professionals.
Pros: Convenient location and cleanest gym I have used in South Beach
Cons: Parking can be a little challenging. But never a big problem.

I felt welcome right away when I arrived here for the first time. I was a little nervous because I am pretty much a beginner, but that didn't last very long because the staff is very professional and knowlegable. This is a private facility, so you can only workout with a trainer and you don't have to deal with the crowds of some of the other gyms in town. This is the place for anyone who wants to get results, seeks individual instruction and appreciates a high quality experience.
