Clever Choice Carpet Cleaning and Upholstery Care

These guys are awesome. I?ve had them clean my carpets twice now and can honestly say that they are by far the best at what they do, that I?ve come across. My worn-down, seven-year-old carpets look new again.

The owner and staff are professional, courteous and prompt. So that you?re not waiting around for hours for their arrival, they?ll provide you with a narrow estimated-time-of-arrival window, and then actually show up as scheduled. They even call you 20 minutes prior to their arrival just for good measure. That level of customer service is hard to find these days.

Oh , and they?re careful, too. Unlike other companies I?ve used, this owner-operated business has never inflicted a single nick, scratch or ding in/on any of my walls, doors, furniture, etc. This is a far cry from the ginormous holes and dents that other companies (e.g., Sears) have left.

I strongly recommend this business to anyone needing a good (or even minor) carpet overhaul. Their fees are much lower than that of the larger outfits and competitive with the smaller ones. And for those of us who are concerned, their products are earth friendly.

Frank and his crew were fantastic! Very professional and very thorough. We have pets, so our carpet was in sore shape. We really didn't even think a carpet cleaning would work, but it did! Frank also gave us pointers on how to keep it clean after pet accidents. Thanks Frank!

These guys took the carpet that I was considering tearing outand made it beautiful again. I have been cleaning my carprets on my own and had no idea that a real pro could make it look so great. If you ever are considering a tear out, you really should call these guys first. It very well could save you a lot of time, money, and headache. Highly recommended!

I too didn't realize my carpet was as bad as it was. I keep a clean place and vacuum on a regular basis, but when they showed me the dirty water; I was shocked with the amount of cat hair that was still in the carpet! The CC team was very courteous and professional. They were respectful in answering my questions. My ugly carpet looks great, and I will continue to use Clever Choice again; in fact, I'm telling all of my friends. Thanks Clever Choice!!

I had to laugh. When the techician was done he said, "your carpets were filthy"! Too funny, and I thought I was the clean-freak of the neighborhood! Oh well, they do look wonderful, and my carpets feel softer too. The price was great, they were on time, and I'd use them again in heartbeat! How filthy are you? LOL

I've owned my home for 5 years and have had 3 separate companies come to my home to clean my carpets. In all 3 cleanings, never once did I see the use of corner guards or a rake type instrument to remove excess water. CC showed up on time, moved furniture being cognizant of the furnishings, the legs, the corners, etc., and were speedy yet detailed in their cleaning. When they first arrived I began explaining what, why and how...they politely listened while at the same time letting me know this is their job, their profession and more or less..."let us at it!" approach. They were eager which told me they cared not about getting the job done so much as getting the job done RIGHT. I felt they spent extra time explaining to me the products NOT to use for spot removal (yes, I had 3 of them under my sink!), they spent the time explaining the process and rather than bashing any of the competition, they explained the differences and why the CC method is truly the better way to go...that is if you are looking for results in the long run. I never knew spots could resurface from the padding, etc. Frank took the time to explain this and many other issues to me. I would absolutely, 100% use CC again and again and recommend them without hesitation. Thanks for a great job!

Very professional and friendly! First time I ever had the carpets cleaned in 5 yrs. The carpets were stained from pets, kids and daily use. All of the stains and smell was taken care of to my amazement. Great job! I will use these guys again for sure!

I have been using Clever Choice for about a year and a half now. Before Clever Choice, it was hard to find a good carpet cleaner that do not charge excessively and do a good job cleaning the carpet. Frank the owner is nice and friendly and most importantly no matter how dirty and gross my carpet are, Clever Choice was always was able to do a great job. I am very satisfied with their work and service. I have finally found a good carpet cleaner that does an awesome job at a super affordable price. I highly recommend Clever Choice!

I contacted Clever Choice based on their outstanding citysearch reviews. I'm of the opinion that non-biased, honost reviews can really help a consumer sift through the competition and find the right company to do business with.

They showed up on time, did a great job, I'm a very happy customer. Very low pressure, didn't try to push the upsell. We did the Enzyme treatment as I have a young child and dog. It really helped with the pet dander.

I have a white sofa/loveseat/chair set that had never been cleaned in 16 years. The couches had been soiled from heavy use and sprayed by my cat. I thought my only option was to throw these out and buy a new set. I called Frank after seeing his reviews. He was able to clean my couches with excellent results. They look brand new! He did an amazing job and saved my couches! He also cleaned my dinner chairs which were also very stained and they are perfect. They came and first cleaned my rugs which had not been cleaned for 18 months and did a terrific job. But even better they took my area rugs and they came back like new. Frank was a very nice person and a friendly individual who I felt safe having in my home. I highly recommend this company.

When it was time to sell our house we had to address many problems. Just when we thought we were ready to put it on the market we realized that the carpets were in desperate need of some attention. We had purchased the beautiful light colored shag carpeting when we purchased the house three years ago and they had yet to be cleaned. Over the years we had accumulated many pet and traffic stains. We weren't sure if there was any hope. A friend told me about a company called Clever Carpet Cleaning. So we decided to give them a try. There friendly staff showed up on time and were very polite. In less than an hour they had worked a miracle! Our carpets looked like the day they were installed. They gave me a very reasonable price and even gave me some tips on how to keep up the carpets in our new house. I would recommend this company to anyone needing carpet or upholstery cleaning.

I called this company based on reviews I read here, and was not dissapointed. These guys worked miracles on an aged pet stained carpet nobody else would touch. They're prompt, friendly, and polite, and no matter whatever coupons or discounts the chain places offer, this company is a bargain. They will stay and work on your carpet until the best possible result is achieved. I will definitely call them again, and have already reccomended them to a bunch of friends. This Number 1 Ranked small business deserves its reputation. Just call them: you won't do better anywhere else.

Frank, the owner of Clever Choice carpet cleaners just finished cleaning my carpets. This is the second time we have used Clever Choice and the service has been wonderful each time. They do a super job! They are reliable, come when they say they will, and always do a great job. We have a little dog and she makes my carpets spotty, but Clever Choice makes them clean and beautiful. We will never use anyone else again!

Frank did a fantastic job cleaning our carpet and area rug!! Multiple spots that i thought were lifers because they didn't budge when i attempted to remove them with multiple cleaners were a piece of cake for !Clever Choice! carpet cleaning service. Frank and his assistant were proffessional, timely, affordable, and reliable. They made our carpets look like new and made the carpets safer for our children to play on. Frank did an awesome job on our dog, kid, party stained carpets. We considered replacing the carpeting but knew if anyone could make them look good, it would Clever Choice. We have used them before and are always amazed with the results. We were able to get an appointment right away, he was on time and actually ended up charging us LESS than he quoted over the phone. We are so impressed and recommend Clever Choice with no reservation.

It's hard to believe that my carpet could look this good!! I was ready to get new carpet as I thought mine wasn't salvagable. Now it looks as though I DID get new carpet!!! What an amazing difference! It's actually a white berber carpet again!! I will encourage all my friends and family to use Clever Choice for the best in carpet care!

I really needed my carpets cleaned, but didn't have any recommendations...so, I looked on Portland City Search & decided to call Clever Choice. It was a pleasant surprise that Frank arrived slightly earlier than scheduled (how frustrating is it when you wait all afternoon for an appointment -- not truly knowing when they will arrive!) I am very pleased with the way my carpets look & will definitely use them again in the future! And, the price was extremely reasonable, which will make my husband very happy!

I have had my carpets cleaned twice at this home and NEVER have they been as clean as they are this time.
There were stains and especially PET ODORS and stains I thought would never come out. I still can't believe it when I put my nose to the carpet I can only smell freshness - I thought they would be there forever - but now they are GONE.
