Maritime Pacific Brewing Company is our small, family-owned brewery, established in 1990. As traditional home port to Northwest mariners, the Ballard district of Seattle provides us the perfect setting for a brewery with a seafaring name and tall ship as its emblem. At Maritime Pacific, we brew truly handcrafted ales and lagers, enhancing traditional recipes to produce unique Northwest beers. Added to a fleet of year-round favorites are specialty seasonal beers, providing the enthusiast with an ever-changing choice of beverage to refresh the beer-drinking soul. Our Jolly Roger Taproom offers Maritime Pacific brews along with our delicious, reasonably priced entrees designed especially to complement them. Kegs and bottles to go and a collection of logo wearables and gifts are also available for sale here.

Great brews on taps. Excellent food. A few annoying drunk guys - but oh well -its a bar! 4 Star Rating - Very good

Excellent beers on tap! And yes the mini-burgers are everything people say they are - delicious! i also had the mahi burgers which were also excellent. Some annoying drunk guys were next to us, but oh well, they can't always be avoided.
I recommend this place if you want to try some good Northwestern Brews. It's a local hang out so be aware that means the vibe people bring may vary.

Pros: Great example of northwestern micro brews. Great food.
Cons: local spot - vibe can vary according to the crowd

Really not good at all... 1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

This place is really disappointing. Sorry, but the waitress was extremely rude from beginning to end. I hate this place and I will never go back. I went a a whim, the waitress proved that it was a fail in every way. Worst experience ever. PS. The beer was good, but that hardly makes up everything else that sucked so badly. Please don't go here. You might want to be a pirate like I did, but this is not the place to do it.

Pros: Thumbs down
Cons: Rude rude rude service

Really good or really bad.. you will have a great time or a bad time. also 3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

We have been to Maritime many different times and some of those times are great and other's are not good at all. The food always seems to be consistently good. The service waivers from visit to visit. Some nights you have to almost get angry to get a beer and menu, and other times a beer is waiting for you before you even sit down.
The other thing that is on or off. It is amazing how many times they are been out of a well-known style. I don't get it. The brewery is just on the other side of the wall and you can't get but half their beers.

Also please open on sunday.

Pros: That great Maritime beer. Good food to drink beer with.
Cons: up and down service. Not all beers are available.

Great old school pub in a changing Seattle 5 Star Rating - World class

What a great place! As parents of a 9 month old, we miss eating at our favorite pubs. After securing a babysitter on Tuesday nights, The Jolly Roger was the first place we wanted to return. Excellent food - the Little Jolly "sliders"-style burgers are excellent. We had mussels and clams that were wonderful - just enough flavor but didn't mask the taste of the seafood. Beer is always great. Service is perfect. Much of the staff are transfers from Hoyt's on Queen Anne - a place we dearly miss as upper Queen Anne turns into a giant tanning salon and condo complex. Jolly Roger continues the good food and friendly service that is missing in so much of changing Seattle. A busy tap room is worth the wait!

Pros: lots of food price options, great atmosphere, tasty beer, quality people
Cons: busy

I like this place...I really do... 4 Star Rating - Very good

Good, fresh food. Good, fresh beer. It's a bit small, and I've found myself waiting for a bar stool to open up, but I enjoyed the food and drink. Nice folk as well.

Pros: Fresh
Cons: Space, Not open on Sundays, Not open for lunch
