Cortez Room at Gold Coast presents generous portions of prime rib, steak and seafood make this dining room an exceptional value. Their dishes include sauteed quartered mushrooms, raw oysters on the half-shell, breaded fried shrimp served with house cocktail sauce, maple-buttered pork chops served with potato cakes and apple sauce and blackened bone-in, rib-eye steak lightly dusted with Cajun seasoning, served with deep-fried onion strings, just to name a few. They also have a wine list to select from as well. An informal, yet warm and comfortable atmosphere contribute to this dining experience.

An adequate steak house if you're on a budget 3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

Not much to rave about here, but the prices are reasonable and the food is decent. Atmosphere has a somewhat old and dingy vibe to it, but you can't expect crystal goblets and sterling flatware at these prices. Service was fine, albeit rather indifferent. The steaks are good and your tummy will be filled, but there was nothing that we had that rates a recommendation. The Steak House at Circus Circus is still the best in town in my book.

Pros: Reasonable prices
Cons: Not a very memorable experience
