Have several rental properties to maintain , the skillman plumbing department is very poorly stocked and maintained, even stock for the most basic fittings like 1/2 x 3/4 copper adapters, you name it if you need it its not there or the spot is filled with some other part.No one seems to maintain or even care about this dept. This last time I addressed it with two associates at the service desk they simply looked at me and said OK and went right back to their conversation. That's it. no I am sorry you are having to go across town to Lowes again, just OK.
For years their loading area always seems to be filled contractors who simply park their trucks and go shop so if you have a load of sheet rock or lumber, you get to haul it out to the sloped parking lot and try to wrangle it in by yourself as the loaded cart does its best to roll down the hill.

Am tired of driving to that store and leaving empty handed. After this last experience I cut up my home depot card and now simply drive over to Lowes or Home depot on Lemmon, In my mind the skillman store no longer exists.

This smaller location sometimes lacks the standard items you would find at any other Home Depot. Plus, the Garden Center is a separate building, so forget about one-stop shopping if you need to grab something for the outdoors.

After a recent trip to Home Depot and purchasing a new Maytag dishwasher I quickly learned how terrible Home Depot's installation services are. The person who installed my dishwasher did not even screw the screw into anything. He simply placed it in the hole for appearance alone. Well, inevitably it fell out. I contacted Home Depot and because a month had passed since the installation, they state it is not their problem. I must contact Maytag because it somehow is their problem. I don't understand that way of thinking. Anyhow, the installation was horrible and I am stuck with a dishwasher that won't open because the bottom is not properly installed. I'll never use them again. I'll never recommend them to anyone.

PROS: None
CONS: Rude customer service, difficulty contacting someone to help
