I decided to try getting the playboy bikini wax after seeing their add in Westword with a coupon for 25% off your first service. I was not disappointed! Krista is incredibly friendly, fast- which is important when you're getting that kind of wax and knowledgeable! She provided courteous service in a manner that made you feel like an old friend and wasn't awkward at all! The location was easy to find. Parking was a breeze and I will definitely be going back. Thanks so much Studio Urban Wax! I am glad I looked through the Westword!

I have been to almost every waxing studio in Denver (Wax in the city, Zandi k, Emerge, and a couple others) and Studio Urban Wax is hands down the best one. I will most definatly be a regular for as long as i live here! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! I loved how while in the room, we "girl talked" and it felt like I have known her for years!! The receptionist was very sweet and more than helpful making sure I had everything taken care of before I left. I tried booking online and made a few mistakes and she was very patient and kind while she helped me figure out how to do it. I also recently bought some of their skin products, the PCA skin product line is AMAZING (to say the least!) When reading reviews online this was almost the only one with basicly no bad reviews! (the 2 or 3 reviews that were bad were absolutely ridiculous! those people need to get a life!!) For people trying to decide which waxing studio to go to, Studio Urban Wax is just perfect. I promise a 5 star experience!!

LOVE this place! They are always so friendly every time I go in and always call me by name even when they don't have it right in front of them. I've been to several of the estheticians and have never had a bad experience in the year and a half that I've been going there. This place is everything one could hope for!

Studio Urban Wax is the only place I will go to get my brazilian bikini wax and brow wax. I have been to Wax In The City and there is a difference between the quality of wax and the professionalism between the two. Hands down Studio Urban Wax consistently does a better job. Affordable pricing, a customer friendly No Tipping policy and great service with high quality products keeps me coming back. Try them out for yourself!

Though I've never been unhappy with the services that I've received, every single trip has had unpleasant factors along with them - on TWO different occasions I waited 30-45 minutes before being seen and at yet another time I arrived at an appointment to hear that they had no record of the all services I'd wanted!! At NONE of the three times did anybody reconcile the situation by a change in price or future discount.

After my last visit (in which I had to tell my esthetician the services for which I had made the appointment and convince her to provide them!), I am looking for another salon.

I was thrilled to find SUW when I moved to Denver. The staff are very professional, skilled and friendly. The couple times I have scheduled an appointment and the esthetician I booked with was out (sick) they found a way to get me in for my appointment. Appointments can be booked online! They have great prices too!

Booked an appointment with Studio Urban Wax on Saturday for a Playboy Brazilian and my Esthetician was Sorina. What a great experience! The location is on Broadway and easy to find. You buzz in from the street, and climb a 1/2 flight of stairs and you'll find the studio immediately to the left. The friendly receptionist greeted me and invited me to take a seat. The space is super cute and comfortable with exposed brick and nice finishes that isn't at all pretentious. The appointment started on time and Sorina took me back to one of the treatment room. The room was very clean and sanitary. Sorina was excellent giving me one of the best Brazilian bikini waxes I have ever had! I will definitely be back!

A long time waxer here in Denver and this Studio is the best of them all. My services are usually a playboy brazilian, brow wax and underarm.

As an aesthetician and instructor for over 11 years, I would like to address the "double-dipping" nonsense I see posted from time to time. There is nothing wrong with using the wax applicator multiple times to draw wax because the exposed top layer wax touching the skin sticks to the skin completely leaving the applicator when its applied. Seriously, you'll have a higher risk of getting a germ touching a door handle! Since I know the owners, I do know Studio Urban Wax does not use the same applicator when a service calls for waxing around the genital area such as a brazilian service. For my students, I often use Studio Urban Wax as the teaching example for waxing and sanitary protocols. You can be confident you are at the safest, cleanest waxing salon in metro Denver!

I have had 4 brazillian waxes here and they do a great job and are fast. However, the last two times I have been in (different girls) they double dipped! I am also an esthetician and that is the number one thing not to do when waxing.

I am an esthetician myself and see Kim for my brazilian's! In fact she is SO good I reccomend lots of MY clients to her when they want brazilian because she gets in done in half the time I can. She just ROCKS it like a ninja. NEVER awkward or uncomfortable. I actually met another esthetician recently and she ALSO goes to kim, crazy huh. Just goes to show you only want a pro near your cha cha and Kim's it!

I have been waxing on and off for a last few years and, because of my coarse hair type and irregular waxing schedule, tend to take a long time. My waxing specialist, Krista gave me a full brazilian, lower leg, and underarm in 50 minutes! On top of that she took care of ingrown hairs AND left me smoother than any other aesthetician has in my lifetime.

This also happened to be the least painful wax I've ever had due to Krista's fast hands and excellent conversational skills.The staff is knowledgeable and professional and the prices are super inexpensive. Please note that Urban Wax has a no tipping policy.

Finally, I was able to get an appointment same day. I've never been able to do that with any other waxing place. When I got there, the studio was clean and up to the best hygenic standards. They made sure to use fresh wax just for me. As it was my first time there I am glad left enough time before my appointment to find parking as there is no parking lot.

Overall superb experience...and I don't say that lightly.

I usually only have time on my lunch break to go, so they get me in and out in a flash!
I've never had an experience like the unlucky lady in the previous posting. Wonder who told you it was on 6th? Maybe don't listen to randoms on Broadway??
They ALWAYS tweeze if there's anything left. Ashley is wonderful and can always fit me in also. They always seem to know they different types of hair and how to treat them differently. I always recommend Studio Urban Wax to friends. They almost make the waxing apt a pleasure to go to!

This is a super place to get your brazilian bikini wax for a very reasonable price. My cost was $45 and the service I received and cleanliness of the place is worth twice that. The no tipping policy is nice. I don't mind tipping but since I saved some cash I don't mind coming back more often!

I have been routinely going to studio urban wax for about 6 months and have always been very happy with the service. I see Kim for brazilians and leg waxing and she does an awesome job. Shes always on time, very skilled, and a great conversationalist. The front desk staff is also very nice and friendly, they remember my name the minute i walk in the door. Overall this is a quality place, and i wouldnt think of going anywhere else!

The last time I had been waxed it was really awkward so I was reluctant to get another brazilian. After reading the reviews about Studio Urban Wax I decided to give it another go. I schedule an appointment with Ashley. She was super friendly and made me feel comfortable. The place was really clean. The receptionist wasn't very warm or friendly but Ashley more than made up for that. I've had issues with people making my eyebrows too thin but Ashley took the time to look at my face and eyebrows and sculpted them to best fit my face. I am so happy and will definitely return even if it across town

Moving from sunny California to Denver I was eager to get my waxing ritual back on track. Through friends at DU who swear by how awesome Studio Urban Wax is I felt great about setting an appointment with them for my brazilian, eyebrow and legs. My girl was Rebekah and she did not disapoint! I received the best waxing service I've ever had anywhere! My braziliian was done expertly and with VERY VERY LITTLE discomfort, if any. My eyebrows are fab-fab-fab! Besides the great service what I noticed most was how SUPER CLEAN, friendly and professional everyone was. As of this post I've visited Studio Urban Wax four times and the place is a perfect ten in my book!!

I went in for an appointment and was told it had been deleted. I made it the day before. The manager said " It happens" I will choose to go somewhere where it does not happen. This was my day off and I had many errands scheduled around this appointment. I found another studio which is reliable and professional.

After reading everyone else's reviews, I suppose I could chalk my experience up to having the one bad brow specialist who worked there. She not only took off about 1/5 of my inner brow leaving them unequal and awkward looking, but then proceeded to try and fill them in with black, (after I told her that look never works on me), where I then proceeded to look extremely Gothic and awful. I was mortified leaving the salon and I will not return there again.

I was really nervous about going to Urban Wax! I have never had a wax let alone a Brazilian! When I got there it was really nice! The place was really nice and clean! I decided to go in before my vacation and decided to get a Brazilian, Leg, and Brow shaping and tint and Lash tint! I had no idea what to expect!
Ashley was really nice and helped me relax...The Brazilian was not nearly as bad as what I thought it would be! Don?t get me wrong IT HURT...its waxing...The Tinting was great!! She was constantly asked me if I was ok and if I needed a break. It did not hurt after for but an hour. She was really nice and personable. I have since gone back and I am so pleased with not having to worry about shaving every three days!!!! I recommend this place for SURE!

I've heard horrific stories of Bikini waxing. Stories of the agonizing pain petrified me before I went for my first Brazilian on May 5, but I had mine done at Studio Urban Wax on South Broadway and I?m converted. You immediately sense why this place is popular. I was escorted to a hygienic waxing room by my esthetician, Kim, and my service began with Kim giving me clear instructions (Thank God!) on what I should expect. She applied a warm wax to my bikini area and slowly began peeling the sides of it and you can feel the big pull coming as she began peeling the sides faster . Surprisingly, it wasn?t any more painful than an ear piercing as she did the rest of the area and my posterior. After a few more pulls, I felt my confidence growing by leaps! After finishing up, I secretly congratulated myself for going through with it. I just want to let those out there who are thinking about getting this done to go for it! And I can say I had a very good experience with Studio Urban Wax.

I was impressed by the waxing thread for Studio Urban Wax, so I stopped by after a hair cut at Floyd's to find out about getting my arms waxed to prep for a sleeve tattoo. Not only were they fast & painless (well, compared to the tattoo), but the price was very reasonable. Best part is no stubble while my tattoo is healing and I can get 2 sessions in before I need to get another wax. Thanks for the tip ladies.

I had missed my waxing apt at another salon and really needed to get in some place quick. My regular waxing girl had heard of this place so I called from her salon in hopes that I could get in. The lady on the phone was short with me and didn't offer to put me on a wait list or even listen to me. I asked if there was anything for the day and she quickly replied no and then just hung up. I was willing to come in on another day, but didn't have a chance to get a word in.

Relax and wax it! Advice I've finally taken from my girlfriends about managing my garden. Following more advice to where to go from my waxing girlfriends I made an appointment with Urban Wax. Needless to say I was anxious about my upcoming bikini wax. But before I knew it the service was done and I was on my way. The waxer was great and I'm very happy with the results. I've been smooth for weeks! The place is professional and clean. It has a very nice feel inside. I felt very comfortable. I'll definitely be back!!!

If I could give any piece of advice to virgin waxers it is simply to go to a reputable, quality waxing salon. Studio Urban Wax specializes in waxing. They are an upscale waxing salon. Very clean and classy place with a wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The price is VERY reasonable and a great value for the quality of service you get. They have tiered pricing based on how long an aesthetician has been with the salon. I get my service from Monique. Even though Monique is a tier 1 she was the lead aesthetician from The Woodhouse Day Spa for several years. She is excellent! I highly recommend Monique at this waxing salon.

I shed more hair in my house than my dogs and cat. Even worse, my hair is dense, coarse and heavy. It is not something very attractive for women to feel. I do not like feeling it myself. The only positive is that it does tend to keep me warm in the winter time. have tried to shave my hair, but it only grows back thicker and coarser. Plus, it is very difficult to find someone willing to shave your back. Thus, I began to look into body waxing. A female co-worker recommended this place and I'm very glad she did.

I've had nothing but quality waxing services from Studio Urban Wax. I book a face wax and I am very particular about my eyebrows. I get great results each time and I've grown very fond of Rebekah. The studio just recently opened in its new location and is uber modern and hip, and there is even a place to plug in your ipod if you want to rock out to your own music during your treatment -- very cool!

Rebekah is the absolute best. She is very professional and knowledgeable. My first appointment with her for my first Brazilian was in January and I was so impressed I bought a package deal. By the way, she does have a cream you can purchase to take some of the sting out of the waxing. Her studio is clean, neat and very "urban". There are places closer to where I live, but I have had such great service with Rebekah, I won't go any pleace else!

I finally got the courage to do a Brazilian. I've never had any waxing done before so I was like totally scouring the internet and citysearch looking for the right place. THANK YOU CITYSEARCHERS for leading me to Studio Urban Wax!! Paula did a wonderful job making me feel comfortable. I had the strip wax and it was fine. New to the area. Competitive mens swimmer and long time waxer. I'm used to getting waxed and know a good wax from a bad. I usually do close to a full body wax. I was very impressed with Rebekah. Reviews are dead-on.

I got a gift certificate from a girl-friend who is a regular here. I've always wanted to tint my lash and with the gift, decided this was the perfect time to do it. I had both services done by Rebekah and I am pleased with the results. She is great. Very knowledgeable and really took the time to give me a great service. Great service is far and few, but I'm telling you this place has it. I'm already scheduled for my next service.

I'm tired of spending my time at hair salons who add any service you can dream of to their menu and look you straight in the face and say we are the experts, especially when it comes to waxing. I got burned because I blindly accepting a waxing treatment this way. I'd be the firs to point the finger at myself for being naive. But never again. I googled and found Studio Urban Wax. This salon did a very good job on my brow, legs and bikini. I am a satisfied customer. Nice job!

Waxing is totally my thing. I've been waxing for two years and the place I normally hook up at couldn't get me in. Came to citysearch and found Studio Urban Wax. Read a few reviews and called them. They were able to accommodate my time. I booked a brazilian and brow wax. Rebecca did my service and she did a super job! I could tell she is a pro and gave this wax warrior a few tips I didn't know. The best waxer I have personally gone too!

I decided to get my first Brazilian waxing as a present for my boyfriend. I was really nervous, but Natalie was really nice, calming, and made me feel SOOOO comfortable. She made sure that was doing ok numerous times and was pretty gentle. Don't get me wrong - it definitely hurt, but Natalie was understanding and made me feel really great even though I was laying down before a stranger without any pants. It was especially nice because she waxes herself, so she knows the areas that are super sensitive. I am definitely going back soon!

I had my first Braziian wax ever with Rebekah. She was outstanding! She makes you feel very comfortable; I wasn't at all self-conscious. She is very professional. I love that she is always on time - a huge requirement in my book! She also e-mails you to confirm appointments and sends friendly reminders. The price is comparable to other places (I've since moved to Dallas). You know from your first contact with her that she takes pride in her work.
