Ok pizza, fast delivery

by Cassie E. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 2,088

Padrino's is nothing to write home about. The crust was too thick and chewy for my taste. But other than that, it wasn't bad pizza and the delivery was pretty quick. It hit the spot at the time but I don't think I'd order it regularly if I lived in the area.

Variety

by Maris A. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 3,132

I was in Seattle on business when I stopped at this restaurant. It was quick and easy and service was good. It is reasonably priced, but if you traveling with a group it is a good choice because it has a lot of variety. Not only does it have pizza but it has Greek salads, spicy Thai, gyros, and much more. Though I only was there once I liked what I saw.

Terrible Pizza and worse chicken wings

by Anonymous

This was one of the worst pizza experiences of my life. The pizza was cold and the chicken wings were half cooked. I just finished easting and I feel like i am going to vomit. Padrinos is voted as one of Seattle's best take out food places for 2006, i guess 2006 was a bad year or there were only a few entries that year.

Some of Seattle's WORST Pizza

by MetMan

I got a flyer in the mail the other day from Padrino's, and decided to try it out; a Paggliacci's alternative is a good thing. This is NOT it. The service was good enough, but the actual product was complete junk.

The measure of a pizza place is the cheese pizza. Without a good foundation, the house falls down. And I don't think there was a single good thing about Padrino's cheese pizza. I also got a pizza with toppings, and while some of the toppings (though not the sausage) were good, toppings do not a pizza make.

The crust was too thick to be NY style, too thin to be Chicago style or Sicilian, and cooked too slowly to be crunchy in any sense of the word. I'm not convinced that the crust is much better than microwaved Wonderbread.

The sauce tasted cheap, over seasoned (with the wrong seasonings), and probably out of a can. The cheese was average, but nothing special at all.

Overall, I would pick Dominoes over Padrino's, for both taste and price. At least Dominoes' pizza has some crunch to the crust. The only other pizzas I recall being this bad were from the backwoods of Maine.

In summary, Padrino's provides horrible, overpriced pizza. Only order if your tastebuds are dead and you like spending more money than Dominoes will charge you.

Pros: Delivery guy was decent guy, some of the toppings were good

Cons: Bad crust, bad sauce, way too expensive for the quality

Not impressed

by klc1984

Saw ad for free chicken wings with a large pizza. Ordered from them for the first time and it took roughly around 45 minutes for the food to come. They got the order wrong and sent something completely different. The chicken wings were OK, nothing special about them. The salad was overly cripsy and didn't taste right like the lettuce hadn't been washed. After eating half of it I had my fiancee try it and he spewed it right out into the garbage. So as we threw away the salad they called us back to let us know they messed up the order and they would deiver the pizza to us because of that. When it arrived they sent us the whole order again which I did not find impressive at all because the pizza was soggy, bland and cold. I picked through the salad and found about 15 good pieces of lettuce which still had a bad texture. I woke up the next morning sick as a dog and threw up six times with the worst food poisioning of my life.

I'd reccomend sticking with a chain that has a good reputation for quality food.

Pros: attempted to correct order.

Cons: got order wrong, salad unwashed/food poisioning, bland food.

Good and Bad.....

by DoogieHowser

We stayed at a hotel Downtown Seattle so we ordered for Padrino's delivery, we ordered Mozerella Sticks, a meat lovers calzone and a small pepperoni/pineapple pizza. Delivery was about 45 minutes which is expected but the food was a bit oily. the calzone was flooded with oil/grease and juices that it was a total mess to eat because the bread was kinda soggy it just fell apart, the pizza barely had any sauce on it that the crust just absorbs all the saliva in your mouth leaving it dry and your looking for the nearest glass of water and there were only 11 pepperooni's...yeah we were able to count them because there was so little of it and the pineaple pieces were veeeeeeeeery tiny, now I have to admit the mozerella sticks were insanely good, I wish they would give a little more sauce to dip it in instead of the tiny cup they give where your only able to dip 3 mozerella sticks in and it's all gone leaving you extra mozerella sticks WITH NOTHING TO DIP IT IN!!!! at leas there was nothing wrong with the sodas.

Pros: Sodas were cold.

Cons: Too much oil/grease.

Disappointing

by TheWordyBird

We ordered a pizza with three substitutions, two of which they outright omitted and one of which they barely put any of the ingredient on. Left us with a mess. Oh, and a rather cardboard crust. We'll stick with other delivery folks.

Pros: What ingredients we had seemed fresh enough

Cons: Thoroughly botched the order, even though the guy on the phone read it back correctly

OK

I've only ordered from Padrino's once. Delivery was fast and it was inexpensive but it's not very good pizza. It wasn't terrible - just kind of plain.

A must try....

by kolas1

Most people you talk to will have never heard of Padrino's pizza, but it's definitely in the top 5 Seattle pizzas. Sausage pizzas have a sausage that covers the entire pizza, so you have a good slice of sausage with every bite! Highly recommended, for pickup or delivery

Excellent Pizza and Service

by chrisinballard

Padrinos has some of the best pizza I have had in Seattle. The owner has spiffed the place up a bit in the past year (including a new oven) and it appears to be a going concern now rather than a dying hole in the wall. The crust had a strong garlic flavor. It was crispy brown on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The sauce (my personal vote for the most critcal ingredient of any pizza) was spicy and full of flavor without being heavy. The toppings were piled on, but not so high they made the dough soggy. Support this guy, we need more independents in Seattle.

Pros: Food, Service, Speed

Cons: Parking (sometimes)

My Favorite Pizza Delivery

by monterousa

Everyone seems to go nuts over Pagliacci, but I think Padrinos Pizza is better by far! Everything from the crust (delicious!), to the sauce and fillings are sooooo good.Definitely give this place a try.

Pros: Awesome pizza.

Cons: Can't think of anything.
