Best doggie day care ever!!! We have been taking our 3 dogs there for the last 4 years. They absolutely love it! They keep my small dog behind the counter with the other small dogs and my two larger dogs romp with the other dogs. My dogs

Moving here from New York, my first stop on the day of the move-in was Camp Barkalot, where I dropped my pup off for a day of play while the movers lugged around heavy items.\n\nBarkalot is more like a dog park than a doggie daycare. A well-supervised dogpark with indoor and outdoor components -- but a dogpark in the sense that the dogs mix and mingle and are largely free to get along and have fun. In the summers, the outdoor area has umbrellas for shade and kiddie pools for the pups who like water. \n\nMy dog greets the staff like he greets family -- literally. He does this funny ears-back butt-wagging thing when he greets family, but I have never seen him do it with anyone else before I saw him greet Barkalot staffers this way once we had been going there for a few months.\n\nWe use barkalot not just for daycare but also for kenneling when we go out of town. Always a great experience.\n\nOn top of it, the owners and staff are really friendly and clearly are dog lovers (they so kindly laugh off my dog's tendency to flip out when he sees a cat in the cat room, or when he decides he wants to mark his territory in the main area). \n\n I am moving from Salt Lake in a few months and wish I could take Barkalot with me. A+++\n\n(my dog is a big dog, but just a quick word to anyone with a small dog: they do a great job of keeping smaller dogs in their own area, unless you specifically request otherwise).

We recently moved here from out of state and I found Camp Barkalot online. I tried it out and have gone back many times since our first visit. I have a pitbull/black lab mix and many doggy daycare places discriminate against pit mixes but not this place. My dog always loves going to play here and I feel completely at ease dropping her off to play for the day. The owners are extremely well organized, friendly and professional and we have been nothing but impressed with how their operation runs. Not to mention, my dog always comes home happy and tired! I highly recommend this place.

I've been taking my dog Camp Barkalot for several months now (both daycamp and overnight). I am so glad I found this place. Unlike some places that keep your dog locked up all day, dogs here are free to roam and play. Great for socialization and to release his abundant puppy energy. Prices are very reasonable.

I love this place, friendly staff and very clean facility. my bulldog plays all day and loves going their every day for doggy daycare. I find their prices to be very good and reasonable. The owners (I believe it's family owned) get to know the dogs and really seem to care about them. I'm a little concerned that my dog likes them better than me! I've taken 2 dogs to Camp Barkalot, and I have always felt that they are safe and happy. I love they have a big window where you can watch your dog play. They also separate the ""big"" dogs from the ""little"" dogs (or in my case, a medium-sized dog who thinks she's little), so your dog is safe and comfortable. The grooming is also great. They allow you to take your dogs in early in the day to play, and then, just before them pick them up, they will bathe them so that when you pick them up, they're slime-free (always a plus). I haven't boarded a dog yet, but am confident that when I do, my dog will have a better vacation than I do. I love this place!

Our dog loves Camp Barkalot! They have tons of room for him to run and play, both indoor and outdoor. Whenever we pick him up he's always exhausted from playing all day. The owners, Chris and Dave, are great. They really love the pets and are dedicated to them. They are open 7 days a week, which is so convenient. They are located right off I-15 so it's easy to drop off/pick up our dog. I love that they have a groomer on site because we can pick up our dog freshly bathed and smelling good. Our dog has sensitive skin so they use the hypoallergenic shampoo and that is great. I would highly recommend them! Pros: fantastic service, good location, they really care about the petsCons: Parking is a little limited, but it works.

My two dogs get more tired at Camp Barkalot than they do when I take them hiking in the canyons and when I pull up to the front they are so excited to go in they forget all about me which kind of makes me feel sad, but as long as their happy. The owners are very friendly and have always been there when I drop off and pick up, they also have plenty of staff with the dogs in the play area. I recommend !

I have been taking my dog to Camp Bark A Lot since they first opened, and it has been nice to see them making continual improvements to the place and adding new staff. The dogs have constant supervision, the facility is clean and well maintained, and the owners are hands on. They know all the customers and dogs by name and are very friendly and interested, despite being incredibly busy all day long. But most importantly, my dog LOVES going and has the time of her life playing with the other dogs and the staff.

I heartily recommend to everyone.

We had both 4 cats and 2 dogs stay here for about 2 weeks! We just returned from living in Europe and \r\nthey picked up our pets, helped with customs and did an absolute wonderful job! Highly recommended by someone that takes their pets seriously! Good prices and worth every Penny! The best part is that \r\nyour animals gets to walk around instead of being caged up.

Camp Barkalot is great. The owners and staff are so nice. They took the time to remember my name as well as my dog and are always quick to greet us whenever we walk in. I've never used them for overnight boarding but the day care is wonderful. They are conveniently located so I can drop my dog off on the way to work and know that she's playing in a safe, clean environment. I love picking up a happy, tired dog!

They truly care for each and every dog and you can tell because I think the dogs like them better than they like the own people. they offer two sides to this place, one for big dogs and one for little dogs. That way no dog feels intimidated. They also offer kennels for overnight stay. Prices here are also perfect and a twenty day pass is only $200. the pass never expires and you can take as long as you want to use your pass up.

We absolutely LOVE Camp Bark a Lot. They are well priced and the staff is amazing. They remember my dog from day one, and treat her like their own. They make sure all of the dogs are happy, fed and hydrated. So when we pick her up, she's ready for a nap! It's extremely clean and professional. We also take our dog to their groomer, and she is the BEST. We recommend Camp Bark a lot of boarding, grooming and day care!!

We have taken our dogs there twice and they have so much fun. The folks there are friendly and seem to really love what they do. We took our dogs to a vet kennel once and it was terrible. At camp bark a lot the dogs get lot's of interaction and are taken outside frequently. I give it 4 paws up!

Hello and thank you to Camp Barkalot. I recently had to go on a cruise and leave my pride and joy behind. I was so nervous and scared!! My family was all going with us so we were unable to leave him with them. I was so pleased with how Camp Barkalot took care of my black lab. I called almost everyday to check on him and even had friends go by during the week. We were so happy with the care he recieved we are actually going to use them when ever we go out of town now. I would reccomend Camp Barkalot to anyone who is worried about leaving there dog with someone.

I took both of my dogs to stay for a few days while my husband and I went out of town. We brought our dogs own food and were told that was okay and they would be fed that food. When we picked the dogs up they both smelled very strongly of urine, as if they hadn't been out in a long while. Their bedding was also heavily soiled and smelled very foul. \r\nWe returned home to find that in our bag, their entire supply of food was still with us. I am fairly sure that they were fed, but we specifically asked that they be fed their own food and were told by Camp Barkalot staff they this wouldn't be a problem. \r\nI am currently searching for a new place to take my dogs this weekend because I will never go back to Camp Barkalot.

Before a long Thanksgiving trip, we took our dogs first for an evaluation visit, then for an overnight stay, to decide if this kennel would work for our dogs. Everything seemed fine, and after the overnight stay, we asked for a wash for both dogs. \r\n\r\nAbout five days later, I was shocked to notice that one of our dogs was injured. We took him in to an emergency vet, thinking he had simply fallen or cut himself in the house. When he was shaved to get a look at the wound, his entire back was covered with running sores, the likes of which I have NEVER seen. The vet was distressed too, and told us it looked like an allergic reaction that had become infected. The kind that might come from a strong reaction to, say, shampoo. We told him about the trip to Camp Barkalot, and he thought the timing was right. He also told us there was a good chance our dog would not survive this secondary infection. \r\n\r\nNeedless to say, we called Camp Barkalot the next day to see if anything like this had happened before. We were told, ?Oh yeah, we had a Great Dane a couple months ago have a reaction like that to the shampoo.? Oh. So, why wouldn?t you change shampoos? Why wouldn?t you warn people? Why wouldn?t you even offer an apology? \r\n\r\nLuckily, everything has worked out. Our dog did recover, we have found a kennel we like, and all of us are doing well. We had one other interaction with Camp Barkalot. My husband went in to pick up our dogs? records to take to the other kennel. He again spoke with staff about what had happened. The response was pretty much: Oh, well. Needless to say, our dogs will not be going back, and I have talked to other dog owners I know recommending a switch. \r\n\r\nIn a time of contentious lawsuits, I can understand that businesses are cautious. Additionally, I understand accidents happen. But why not offer a simple apology, or call to see how our dog has fared? Why not switch from such a problematic shampoo? I am not sure, but I would recommend going elsewhere.

Great place for my dog to spend the day, as soon as my Golden Retriever Abby heres the words Camp Barkalot she grabs the leash in her mouth and waits at the door. I know she is well loved there and I can tell all the other dogs feel the same.
