Bonnie is the BEST waxer in the Boston area. She does traditional waxing on men and women (faces, arms & legs, etc.), plus bikini and Brazilian waxing. She's fast, efficient, funny, caring and very professional. She also does great facials and microdermabrasion and reflexology. I've been going to her for over 5 years. It's well worth the drive to Newton. Her space is private and attractive. She makes you feel very comfortable in a potentially uncomfortable situation.

Bonnie provides great waxing services! I've been about three times and I have left happy every time. She is very careful and she keeps you very distracted so that waxing pains are minimized.
I love going and wish I could go now, but I'm currently out of the country. I will surely be visiting once I get back.
She has great bedside manners, very friendly and makes you feel so comfortable. Even though she is so busy, I have never had any problems with making appointments. I also love how quickly it's over, very quick and efficient!

I have been going to Bonnie for waxing for two years and I highly recommend her. She is very professional and always makes me feel comfortable and at ease. Before going to Bonnie, my experiences at other salons were very unpleasant, mostly because of the length of time and pain I had to endure on the waxing table. I find Bonnie to be very fast, thorough, and overall a much less painful experience. I actually look forward to seeing Bonnie every month. She has a fun sense of sarcastic humor and I truly enjoy our conversations while I?m there.

i found bonnie when i was looking for a waxer in the area to do my arms, after reading reviews i felt like i wanted to give a brazilian a try i had been wanting to for years but never had the nerve. she was great, i never felt weird about it, her attitude was great. i have reccomended her to a friend who has yet to make her 1st appt. but i am sure she will feel the same as i do.

Bonnie definitely did a good job. She was quick, and left little wax behind. You hardly notice that you are pants-less when you are in her room. She was a bit abrasive, and showed little sensitivity to the fact that waxing is painful. In fact, she makes fun of you if you show any weakness. When I called to change an appointment she was not shy about letting me know that she was irritated.

So, I have had my fair share of waxing experiences. I am a young woman, who has very senisiteve skin, and has often been left with swollen, broken skin, after waxing. BONNIE IS THE EXCEPTION! She has always been fast and efficient, leaving my bikini area smooth and hair free. She is very receptive to my sensitive skin needs and provides me with a soothing lotion after each wax. I honestly feel completely comfortable seeing Bonnie, and actually drive nearly two hours to have an appointment with her. She really is the BEST! If you have sensitive skin...Bonnie is your gal.

I've been going to Bonnie for ten years now and would never go anywhere else for a bikini wax! (I have followed her throughout the years, until she finally opened her own place in Newton Highlands!) I have recommended her to many friends and they have been as happy with her services as well! I doubt you will ever find someone who can make you feel as comfortable as Bonnie does...especially in an uncomfortable situation! Bonnie is always accomodating with appointments and always on time!!! (which is so important in a busy world!!) She is a perfectionist and her attention to detail is amazing! She is a true professional in every sense of the word. I also recommend her facials...amazing!

Bonnie is amazing- I have been going to see her for over five years, and I cannot imagine going to anyone else for waxing. When I lived in DC, I would book my visits with Bonnie whenever I was in town. She is quick (which is exactly what you want), yet she doesnt' sacrifice any accuracy- her attention to detail is fabulous. She even follows up the wax with tweezers to ensure she's doing a thorough job. Unlike some other waxers, Bonnie leaves no wax behind, so I can continue on with my day without any uncomfortable wax remaining! Bonnie's prices are totally reasonable- comparable to other area salons, and less than high-end city options. Bonnie is enthusiastic, witty and entertaining. She'll have you laughing and chatting the whole time, so you barely know what's happening. The next thing you know the wax is finished! She's no-nonsense in the best way possible and I love going to see her- both for the fantastic waxing job she does, and because she's simply fun to be around! I've recommended Bonnie to numerous friends and family over the years and all of them have loved Bonnie!

I've been going to Bonnie's for bikin waxes for over 5 years now. I've referred all my friends to her and we all use her and love her! She's extremely thorough and fast! After waxing, she takes out her magnifying glass and takes care of any ingrowns, and then tweezes out any stray hairs leaving me with an EVEN and clean looking area in a matter of 15 minutes. I've been to over 8 salons (expensive and cheap) before Bonnie and no one compares. I recommend her to everybody; she's extremely accomadating to anything you need, thorough and fast!

I live in Boston and have been going to Bonnie's for about 13 years. Yes, I've followed her from salon to salon, and now to her own business in Newton Highlands. From my first appointment with her to my most recent this morning I've had nothing short of exceptional service, personal attention and genuine interest in providing beautiful results. Bonnie pays attention to the details of your skin and its changes from visit to visit and over the years. She is a master at waxing- swift AND thorough. I've never been disappointed (neither has my husband), nor have the other women I've met at Bonnie's over the years. Thanks for being so good B!

I use to live in Newton and went to Bonnies for waxing. I now live in RI and will still go to get a wax by Bonnie. I've been to Newbury Street spas and she is the best. She is very thorough, makes you feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. There is no easy way to get waxed but she makes the experience fast and enjoyable. Her schedule is very busy so if you can respect that you will get respect back!!
I would recommend her to anyone.

I first went to see Bonnie as a newbie to waxing in 2005. Having had ingrown hairs and really fast regrowth from the other places I'd tried, I found Bonnie through an online search for the best wax in Boston. I went in one day without an appointment just to check the place out and talk to her about my waxing woes. She told me she had 15 minutes before her next appointment and had me hop up on the table for a "free sample" and I've been faithful ever since. I don't think strolling around with no pants on is any woman's idea of a "comfortable" situation - but Bonnie makes the best out of it by sharing stories and having plenty of distracting things to look at (like the posters on the ceiling). And I don't know what the first reviewer was talking about - I don't know anywhere where a full brazilian bikini wax (butt included!!) is less than $65... and if there is such a place, I'm sure it's nowhere near the thorough and enjoyable experience that Bonnie provides. I recommend her to everyone I know!!

Have been going to Bonnie for my waxing since 1997 (11 years + now), and she has always done a beautiful job. Her space in Newton Highlands is comfortable and welcoming - like Bonnie - and her waxing is clean and gorgeous. She is meticulous about cleaning up stray hairs and those pesky ingrowns, and she has kept my skin looking great through the years.
Bonnie is an expert with a great cozy spot (with easily available parking and near the T) - I regularly go there from Boston because she's wonderful. Will never go anywhere else for my waxing!!

She was very fast (10 minutes) but left A LOT of wax all over my bikini area and it was very sloppy. She left A LOT of stray hairs which I had to shave when I got home. There was so much wax left on my leg, that it actually stuck to my jeans the entire rest of the day and I had to go back to work for several meetings!!! She is also very expensive. A regular bikini wax (nothin' special or extra) was $65!!!!!
I wil not go again. For those of you used to wearing a "modesty paper underwear" or even your own...she has you strip in front of her, lift your legs and fully expose yourself to her. Didn't bother me, but it was unlike any other wax I've had. Terrible bedside matter - she actually ridiculed me when i asked for the bathroom before...saying "you should have done that already". (It was my first time there and I had no idea where the bathroom was!)
I don't know what everyone is raving about. She's a no BS kinda gal, and it shows.
