Friends told me about this place so I thought I should at least check it out. I am so glad I did. I had THE best breakfast ever with some of the best tasting coffee I have had in years. From the outside there is nothing to tell you just how nice it is inside. I'm gonna check out the rest of their extensive menu over the coming months. Will report back.

I come here a couple times a month for breakfast.

I love the loose leaf teas and the stuffed French toast.

Sometimes you have to wait for a table, but the wait isn't long and the staff keeps you informed.

We had never been in Denver and found DJ's on citysearch. We plugged it into Garmin this morning and were on our way. The banana walnut pancakes were delicious. So were the biscuits and gravy. They are not skimpy with their portions and the coffee was very good. This was just what we needed and it was a very comfortable place, friendly staff. We'll definitely be back one day. Good value too.

If you want an award-winning place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or anything in between, try DJ's Berkeley Caf in northwest Denver! DJ's is a comfortable and inviting spot to try some fantastic "benny" (eggs benedict) combinations that other places only dream of. Don't fear, you can still get a classic "meat and potatoes" breakfast if you must, but why waste your taste buds on that when you can try a delicious scramble or omelet? If you want something even more unique, try the chorizo breakfast stew! I swear this is one of the best hangover cures in Denver! If you're a coffee or tea fan, you're in luck! DJ's has a great variety of both to choose from.

When it's nice outside, be sure to dine "al fresco" on the patio. Nothing beats the fresh air and tasty food combination! Come to DJ's and see why people from as far away southeast Aurora and Highlands Ranch say it's worth the trip.

Wow. The first time I came to DJs the lines were out the door. I found out why. Without hype, I must say, DJ's makes delicious breakfasts. I've tried the eggs, bacon and frenchtoast - to die for. Best french toast I've had. My husband loves the breakfast burrito, eggs benedict and biscuits with gravy. They also serve great coffee. We are so happy to have found a consistently declicious breakfast place in Denver with great ambience. Also love the interior, the booths, and friendly service.

Huge fan here! DJs is a charming, unpretentious, local joint. The atmosphere is casual with both indoor and outdoor seating. It is my favorite little secret spot for breakfast. The baristas make the best fat-free latte i've ever had with more foam than fat-free milk should legitimately make. But somehow they do it! The wait staff work in a friendly way that makes you feel welcome and comfortable.
I've had most of their omelet/scrambles and liked them all. Can't beat the good homemade biscuit, yum. Best blueberry pancakes ever. This week I had the belgian waffle and i am now hooked. Wow!

I love this place, my life is brighter now that they have opened. I'm in at least once a week and I try something different off the menu every time. I have never been disappointed. Great food and great staff. If we can't figure out where to go and it's before 2PM we head over to Tennyson to our stand by, never let you down, affordable DJs Berkeley Cafe. If you haven't seen for yourself, get there! Oh and my boyfriend can't get enough of their Biscuits and Gravy.

Pros: Coffee, Service, Food, everything

Cons: They haven't yet expanded to every Denver neighborhood

I've been to DJ's for two relaxing and delicious breakfasts twice since 'discovering' it via an article in a neighborhood paper.

The seating is comfortable, the decor modern and attractive, and it still had a nice 'indie' feel to it. Strong coffee which is something that can be in short supply in places like DJ's that also serves a wide selection of good-tasting foods.

DJ's is now high on my list of NW Denver favorites (which includes: Mona's, Taza de Cafe, Simple Foods, and Cafe Cafe.

Yummy food, nice people, they don't care if you sit and search internet for hours. i'll definitly come back again and again. Cool decor, knowledgeable staff, and hashbrowns to die for. Support your local neighborhood.

Not only is this Cafe/coffee shop a great place to hang out, given the incredible coffee, friendly staff, and wi-fi internet access, but the food is incredible. I've tried almost every offering on the menu, and I haven't had a bad dish yet. In fact, DJ's Cafe is one of the best places to get many standard favorites as well as truly unique twists on traditional favorites. The blueberry pancakes are incredible....best I've ever had. The french fries are made fresh right when you order them tossed with coarse salt and herbs (yum!)....no frozen rubbery fries here. The breakfast burrito is very nicely done with a delicious spicy sausage and homemade green chile with very lean pork, and just the right amount of spice to boost the flavor without burning your tongue. Don't forget mom's chicken-pot-pie and the very nicely done eggplant parmesan with fresh mozzarella and basil...both to-die-for. The crepes are delicious, and you can't go wrong whether your craving is for sweet or savory. Really, you can't go wrong no matter what you order. Why? Because it's all delicious! Plus, DJ's modern yet cozy ambiance is warm and inviting, which makes it a great neighborhood spot. So, needless to say, yeah, I think this place is great. I've been disappointed by so many other restaurants, but this one never fails to impress. Kudos to the brother duo that own and operate this fantastic restaurant.

DJ's rocks the d- town up and down. I can get my vegetarian on or have a luncheon made for a lion. The only advise is to get a phone (number) that works so I can call in an order on the way to work.

From the outside one may not reconize DJ's as the best new place to grab a bite to eat in Berkley, but once you step in side the atmosphere is great. With exposed brick walls, local art, and cozy booths you will surely enjoy. The ambiance does not stand alone, the food and service are also wonderful, I reccomend the Muffaletta sandwich with fries! Enjoy.

Here is is guys and gals-Located just off of 38th and Tennyson, where the parking is still FREE! The place is warm and inviting, the service is excellent and the food is delicious! I have been there several times. I love the homemade chicken-potpie, potato salad and the hollandaise sauce they use on their eggs benedict. My young children like the basket of toys to keep them busy. My 2 year old really enjoyed the potato pancake and chocolate eclair. The owners and waitstaff are very friendly and the girls restroom is clean and accommodating. I guarantee you'll love it and be back again to try the whole menu!

This is my new favorite place to eat in all of Denver! Fresh food, great people, up and coming hot area of Denver to hang. I almost hate to write this dazzling review because I don't want to fight the crowds trying to get in after others discover this gem of a restaurant. But great places deserve to be acknowledged, so here it is folks: visit this new spot, be treated like royalty, and eat the freshest, tastiest, best food in the city! Best of all, you get all this for reasonable prices.

I look forward to spending the winter around DJs working on my laptop and drinking awesome lattes. The atmosphere is open, airy and comfortable, inviting and the wireless internet service works well and doesnt cut out.

The sandwiches are made with wonderful, fresh herbs and fine cheese...good meats and the french fries are truly homemade by hand.

Breakfast? There is no more authentic corn beef hash, and everything is fresh and tasty. The place and the people pretty much embody the spectrum of fine folks in the highlands; young, hip, but not too cocky and yuppie-ish.

I will be back with business associates, because the place is just fine for a pro-power lunch.

I never write reviews for these places, but I want DJs around for many winters to come.

Great service which is always a plus at lunchtime.

Now I am eyeing frozen mocha!
