This is a warning to stay away from American Laser Skincare. I have personally had bad experiences with them where due to inexperience of technicians and poor quality lights (they do not even have an actual laser machine), the laser hair removal was not only ineffective, but left permanent marks on my skin.\nOn the better business bureau (BBB), American Laser Skincare has 925 complaints within the last 3 years! They are not a ethical company. While I was having problems, I first dealt with the Maple Grove, MN manager Rebecca S. She was very rude and defensive and didn't want to work with me at all. I looked her up and found her on Linkedin. She posted her resume which helps explain her behavior. She boasts about reducing refunds and raising costs of treatments.\nRebecca S. claims on her resume (these are direct quotes from the manager's Linkedin account):\n* Reduced refunds from over 20% of sales to less than 4% by improving the sales process, implementing service systems and enhancing the quality of treatments through training.\n* Increased dollars per treatment from 32$ to 75$ per treatment.\n\nNext I dealt with the regional manager Joann B. She was much more professional than Rebecca S., but she also refused to give me any kind of refund as she said a common side effect of laser hair removal is permanent skin damage. This is only true if done improperly (poor technical training and low quality machines).\nThere are laser hair removal places with very high ratings. Be warned of American Laser Skincare and do research before choosing a location. I can recommend other places in the Twin Cities that have been fantastic (a night and day difference from American Laser).

My experience at American Laser wasn't anything like I thought it would be. I thought it would be stuffy and snooty. It was quite the opposite. The women were awesome. They were knowledgeable and made it fun. They are kind and considerate and made me very comfortable. I look forward to each visit as I have made some new friends.

I am really impressed with the team at the Edinl clinic, The clinic manager and assistant manager come into the treatment room with me as I am being treated. The ask how the treatments are coming along and how I'm tolerating and discommort. They communicat that they are committed to monitoring things carefully to make sure the client is getting a safe, effective and througough treatment. They also ask a bunch of questions about the service experience. I have nothing but great things to say about the edina team. They work hard, they're well trained, they are professional and I enjoy seeing the technicians at my appointmets. The manager sat down with me in the beginning and explained why is was going to take at least six treatements to get throught the hair growth cycles. I'm very happy with my results. I've had 4 treatments and 60% of the hair is gone. I recommend this treatment to all my friends too. ALC gives you a $250 mastercard for all new referrals that purchase over $1000
package. The Edina team rocks!

I bought the laser hair removal package underarms and bikini. I have gone for a year and still only 30-40% hairless! They are high pressured and great at sales saying they always see great results and reassure that you will too. They also sold me on Affirm with microderm treatments saying the deal they were giving me was a great deal but only avail until the end of the week because changing computer systems and wouldn't be able to make their own deals. My before pictures looked better than my last set of pictures! My creases or wrinkles looked worse. Microderms were not that great either, I gave myself a home chemical peel and felt better than the microderm. The technicians are super friendly but they push the products too so I wonder if they get commission.

The correct conjugation is not "buyed," it's "bought." And what does "...and one fine day I mailed them so badly" even mean?! You are in America, so if you want to get good customer service, it helps to speak the language company employees are speaking.

I signed up for a hair removal package back in june of '07 I have had 4 treatments so far and rarely have to shave. I was very hairy to start with so I was told it will take more than the 6 tx I bought and thats when my guarantee starts. I have friends that have bought at other places where you have to keep paying and keep paying for extra treatments. I know I won't be hair free in 6 tx but I'm almost half way done with 4. All of the staff at the Edina office is very friendly. I have recently puchased a fat removal package and on the 1st tx lost 3/4 in on my waist! I have been very happy there and will continue to give american laser my buisiness.

I always suggest everyone to buy any product or any item from american laser centre, edina by cash only especially dont buy any product by credit card or debit card, because if u want to return a product none of staff members dont know how to refund money to our account.my expereince was so bad, i buyed a cream from american laser centre, edina. after couple of weeks i called them and i said i want to return the product, becuase my dermatologist suggested not to use any other creams because i was on medication.I spoke to a lady, she said u can come and return at anytime, but she didnt mention that i should return in 30 daysI went to edina, alc to return the product but the lady who was in front office said, i cant take it, because manager or assistant manager should be there. really it was worst response.after 1 week again i went to alc, a lady i dont know she was a manager or assistant manager but she said iam sorry i cant refund your money because already 30 days duration is over, i was literally shocked anyway i explained her the hole thing then she and she had my credit card details and receipt.when i was tracking about my refund with them there was no proper response either by phone call or neither by mail.Really response was too bad and one fine day i mailed them so badly.Finally one day I received a call from their manager and again she took my card details. see how careless they are.ultimately i got my refund in to my account after 6 weeks.Really edian, alc staff should take care of these things, because i wasted my time in tracking them and i thought unnecessarily i buyed that product by my card if it was by cash things were different i think.
