Dark, formal setting in the heart of Back Bay. Sorellina's Italian cuisine is top-notch - definitely not the same kind of typical North End scene (not that those are all bad). This is an elegant restaurant with some interesting twists intertwined with the basics you'd expect. Great dining experience.

Sorellina is a modern Italian restaurant. Their menu is very creative and the service has always been fantastic when I've gone. From the host and bartender to the wait staff they are extremely friendly and helpful. The beat ravioli is surprisingly wonderful and sweet and the kobe beef meatballs are great as well. This is a great place for a date, social meal or a night on the town. It is not casual but not over the top formal either. Nice slacks - tie or no tie - will work well.

When this restaurant first opened, I was very impressed with the food. These days it seems mediocre and over-priced. The bar scene is still fun with friends.
