Nomi Day Spa

I have been going to Nomi's for almost 3 years. My skin has been glowing the whole time so I guess I owe Naomi a rave review.

I had an amazing aesthetician in Seattle where I previously lived and I have to admit I was worried that I would find the same here for a reasonable price. I found that easily in Naomi.

Naomi is incredibly nice, very relaxed and easy to talk to. I usually like to zone out when getting any sort of spa treatment, but I always talk to Naomi during my facial. However, if you want to zone out, Naomi is very intuitive and will let you be without any chit chat.

I go about every 6 weeks for a facial and eyebrow wax. No matter what type of skin you have (I have referred a lot of friends here) you will be well taken care of and your skin will thank you. It's a relaxing, enjoyable experience and incredibly reasonable compared to the brand name spa's. If you're considering needing a facial, don't walk...run to Nomi.

I know some people might be weary about the location (for me it's a plus b/c I live in Potrero) but it's completely safe and parking is a snap.

Bonus: Nomi is open from 9AM-9PM Thursday to Saturday. This is great for me because I don't have to take time off from work or compete for the coveted Saturday morning appointments.

It is a treat to see Naomi for facials. The entire experience is relaxing and soothing. She has a gentle touch and a great way of making you feel pampered.

Amazing facial! I walked into this peaceful, clean space, and Naomi greeted me warmly. Naomi was thorough and nurturing, and was clearly attentive to my skin and what I needed. The building is right off 280 and parking is easy. I'd highly recommend Nomi Day Spa!

I have really sensitive skin. I have tried waxing before and was rewarded with bruising all over. Now, five years later, my hair has became thicker and razors are much more expensive so I decided to try waxing again. I was very concerned about the experience so I researched all the spas on City Search. I was looking for a place that was going to give me personalized, friendly, professional service that would listen to my concerns and if I was lucky not bruise me in the end. I was immediately drawn to Nomi Day Spa because it was owned and operated by the same person who was going to take care of me- not some employee of a spa that didn't necessarily have a vested interest in my happiness and satisfaction. From setting the appoinment to getting stripped Naomi has been exactly what I was looking for- personal, friendly, professional and guess what? I didn't bruise!!! YAY! The fact that her spa is calming and inviting doesn't hurt either! Naomi's personal touch to her practice reminds me of how business' used to be- you know when you actually got above and beyond the service you expected because they actually cared? I never thought I would say this but I look forward to getting waxed!! The whole experience is actually enjoyable- thank you Naomi!!

I have been going to Naomi for about 3 years now for both facials and eye brow waxes, and she is wonderful! She is really warm, professional, meticulous and knowledgeable. Her facials are excellent. She uses great products, but has never once pushed them on me, I had to ask her what she what I should try and it has made a huge difference with the look and texture of my skin. As for the eyebrow waxes, she is THE best I've gone to and won't go to anyone else now! She takes a lot of pride in her work. Also the place is warm, cozy and clean...very important to me!

This is not your typical spa experience. Naomi is very personal and made me feel comfortable, especially with bikini waxes and the like. I especially favor her for doing a wonderful job on my eyebrows. It's been a while since I've had anyone wax my brows so I was forced to pluck them myself for some time... until now. Parking is no problem and I love that she's available early evenings.

So I went to Naomi today and she was great the space was really cool, very soothing and hip-earthy with calming music in the background - its way out in the hill, but Im definitely going back. She used a purple wax that hardened and didnt need a strip. It wasnt as bad as I expected it to be it hurt but not that bad. She didnt need to use the tweezers too much either. She was really funny too great personality. I highly recommend Naomi!

I approached my bikini wax with fear - I am a wimp. Naomi was so professional and competent, put me at ease right away. It was all over in a flash and I will certainly be back. Next time I'm going to try a facial, too...

My first time at Nomi Spa was the best experience I've ever had. I got a brazilian, eyebrow and lip wax and a facial that left me feeling I was in heaven!!! I have been searching for a spa for over a year and I'm so happy that I finally found the one!! Niomi was so nice and soothing she made the whole time I was there magnificent. I can't wait till my next appointment!!!!!

I loved the whole experience from start to finish. I have been to many spas where you are kept waiting and have products pushed on you. Not the case here...Naomi is welcoming and very knowledgeable about skin and beauty. My skin looked incredible and still does...I highly recommend her to anyone who wants a soothing, relaxing experience. And her shaping of eyebrows is killer! I love it!

I've been a client of Naomi's for almost two years -- her facials have done wonders for my skin. Whether my skin is sensitive, broken out, dry, or (on rare occasions) perfectly fine, she mixes the right treatment to make my skin (and me) feel beautiful. Her new space is peaceful and relaxing -- not bothered hearing the background noise of crowded spas. Fabulous!!

I called with trepidation, and approached with downright fear. As a man and a first timer I found myself ready to just call it off, but I persevered and entered Nomi Day Spa as a warrior.

Now I find myself, like the first time I shaved, anxiously awaiting the hair to grow back so I can come in again or maybe my first facial is in order.

I highly suggest Naomi and Nomi Day Spa to all guys, even if you are not a woolly mammoth of a man.

nomi day spa is the best thing to hit potrero hill since eliza's! she has the most gentle and thourough touch. . . even with brazilians! and her facials are reasonably priced for the decandant service that they are. i, for one, will never go anywhere else.

Nomi Day Spa and my visit with Naomi for a facial and brazilian was among the best in the city. I parked with no problem, was greeted by Naomi herself opening the door for me, was made to feel extremely comfortable, and left with glowing beautiful skin. Naomi truly does things her way, and the right way...and it shows. My wax lasted longer than any other wax I've ever had and was virtually painless. I will continue to recommend Nomi Day Spa to everyone!

I tried Nomi Day Spa a few weeks ago, and I was highly impressed. Naomi is lovely and she made the whole experience fantastic, from arrival to departure. I had a facial and really felt that Naomi took the time to get to know my skin and my personal needs before she started the facial, with the effect that I walked out looking and feeling great. I am definitely going back soon!

Naomi makes this potentially very awkward service very bearable! She is professional, thorough, and very gentle! If you ever considered doing a Brazilian--Naomi will make the experience much less painful than you imagined.

What a gem! To find a spa in potrero hill felt like finding a treasure. The space is sophisticated, cozy and zen . . .and naomi's touch is unequaled. I've had a facial and a brazialian and both were effective and pleasant. I will definitely go back and would urge you to check it out.

I have been going to Naomi for almost a year for facials and waxes. When she opened her own place I jumped at the chance to see her in her own element. She is now able to use products of her own choosing (and she is quite discriminating). The space is beautiful with easy parking. She is a talented aesthetician and can you say Brazilian in under 20 minutes? Ladiesif you are looking for quick and as painless as possibleNomi Day Spa is the place for you.

Naomi gives you her complete attention. Shes not pushing products or running from client to client. She greets you at the door and leads you into her adorable spa treatment room. Everything smells terrific, and I swear everytime I walk out of there I feel like I am totally glowing and calm. I recommend the Pure facial, its a perfect treatment, and Naomi has a way of making you feel like you are the most important client of her day.

Update October 2008: I have returned countless times for facials and brow waxings. Everytime I am greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. Naomi effortlessly makes your experience relaxing and rejuvenating. Bliss!

I have been going to Nomi Day Spa since it's inception and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to unwind or just pamper themself. Although it is located in an industrial neighborhood, which is a lttle off putting at first, you are immediately put at ease by the vibrant and tranquil interior decor. However, the spa's best asset is the owner, Naomi. Besides being a brillant esthetician, she is exceedingly gracious and goes out of her way to make sure you're visit is as comfortable and soothing as possible.
