Buster Loves Tall Tails

by Colleen T.

Every week day my family drops our loved dog Buster at doggie day care there. he loves it sooo much! Every day he comes home tired and ready for bed. This day care makes sure that he interacts with other dogs. And this helps us very much because insted of attacking dogs ( like some other dogs ) Buster enjoys to play with them. Make sure if your dog goes to day care around this area or any other one of Tall Tail's areas, he/she goes here!

Peanut Loves Tall Tails

by Dollya S.

Before Peanut started attending Tall Tails over 2 years ago, she had anxiety (when left anywhere), ADHD, and was an active hypochondriac. Yes, she cost me over $900.00 just for a vet to tell me she liked the attention when she acted like her leg was hurting. In addition, Peanut has been asked not to return to two professional groomers for excessive crying! Yes, they told me that other patrons wonder if they're mistreating the animals because she cries so loudly, and to please not bring her there anymore. The first day of group obedience class she absolutely refused to listen and disrupted the group. Once again, we were told "maybe private lessons would be more effective for Peanut". My point is until meeting the staff at Tall Tails Peanut was very challenged in a lot of different ways. Because she was never aggressive and responded well with them, she was able to join the pack. Tall Tails has taught her to be well adjusted socially and act like a happy normal dog. Tall Tails knows how to care for dogs in large groups! Tall Tails also knows how to properly handle dogs with various personalities and various needs. I don't know what Peanut would do without Tall Tails, we're so thankful to have them as our dogs caregiver. If you have a non aggressive dog you want to be well cared for, I encourage you to use Tall Tails. I'm very sorry to Sami's owners and hope you and your family are able to move on. I wrote this review for Peanut and in hopes one tragedy doesn't erase over 10 years of hard work and experience from Tall Tails.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Dollya Santos

My dog loves Tall Tails

by Susanne M.

I've been bringing my Husky to Tall Tails 3 days a week for the past three years. She whines with excitement in the car as we are getting there - starting from 2 minutes away! I've never seen anything weird there or heard of any dogs running away. I don't think my dog would really do that so I'm not worried. I've gotten to know some of the staff well and they clearly love dogs. I'm sorry to the owner's of the dog that ran away - that must be hard but I have to defend Tall Tails as I think they are good people with a good business. We've been very happy and would be very upset if we couldn't bring our dog there.

This place seems sketchy

by Anonymous

I checked this place out as it would be a convenient location for me to bring my dog to. I stopped by twice to look, and left my dog for a few hours one other time. The person I spoke to assured me that there are usually at least two people supervising the dogs at all times, but every time I stopped by there was only one, and he didn't seem concerned about leaving the dogs alone to go into the office to do things. This makes me extremely nervous for my dog's safety because if things go wrong it can all happen very fast, and a few minutes unsupervised with that many dogs (seemed to be about 30 all the times I was there) seems like a disaster waiting to happen.

I never really saw anyone playing with the dogs at all, and the dogs were all pretty much standing around when I was there. The only interaction I saw from the people working there was the frequent harshly spoken "No barking".

All in all I have decided I do not feel safe leaving my dog here, and there are better dog day camp options that are comparably priced or only slightly more expensive for much better quality.
