SoleFood  5 Star Rating - World class

Right in the lobby of the Loews Hotel, SoleFood draws a business traveler crowd. The perfect place to go for a cocktail after a long day of traveling and working. Be ready to expense both drinks and food - yikes - really expensive. You may not even get away with slipping this expense report by your boss without a question or two. The food is exquisite with an ever so dramatic presentation. The ambiance is perfect and upscale. The service is fantastic. I love this place !

not a place for a romantic dinner 3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

When you first walk in it has a night club feel, the tables are to close together for any romance and the music is too loud. The food was just ok the service was the best part.
I would try someplace else for a romantic dinner.

Pros: service
Cons: ambience

Great Value for price for lunch...can also get in and out, in good time ,for a lunch break. 5 Star Rating - World class

I went to Solefood the other day with a few co-workers to check out their lunch. WOW, I was blown away. For starters we walked in with no reservation and were sat right away, even with a very busy diing room. Our server, don't remember her name, but she was GREAT! Lots of great specials and a wide variety of sandwiches & salads. She recommended the "lunch box" which is like a sampling of 4 items, the soup of the day, a special salad, sweet potato chips and a half of a sandwich. My sandwich that day was sirloin tips with caramelized onions and blue cheese on brioche...a"philly cheesesteak" with a twist. Fabulous!! My friend had the crabcake sandwich (yummy) and my other friend had the chilean sea bass (even yummier). We'll be back, no doubt about it...and with more friends. Cocktails the next time!!

Solefood is the spot 5 Star Rating - World class

I went to Solefood for happy hour with my friends from work. Their drinks, 3$ appetizers, and bar staff was wonderful. When the bartender spilled my drink on the Bar, I think his name was Billy, he gave me a replacement, now THATS service. There seems to be lots of energy in the lounge, with the music complimenting the atmosphere. It seems like this is the place to see and be seen by local Philadelphians. Later we decided to get a table in the dining room, and we were again surpised by the food quality. The "Sole" was outstanding, topped with jumbo lobster meat, and garnished with caviar. Great value for price!

Great Happy Hour and Terrific Food 5 Star Rating - World class

I went to Sole Food in the Loews Hotel the other night with some co-workers at around 6:00. I arrived to find out that they were having happy hour. All of the martinis were under $6.00, as well as there complete list of specialty cocktails. They also had $3.00 appetizers. I had the Tuna Tartar, which was amazing, the same as there dinner menu which costs $14.00 in the dining room. There were candles all over the room and great lounge music playing. The crowd was all having fun and drinking, and it wasnt too crowded. I would definetly come back, especially for there HAPPY HOUR......Great lounge staff also.. They recomended I try the dining room so I will be back to have dinner there next time....

Pros: Happy Hour, Great Lounge Servers, Awesome prices and music
Cons: none

Absolutely Wonderful - Just Wonderful 5 Star Rating - World class

My boss wanted to take me out to breakfast for Christmas and suggested Solefood, I didnt know what to think because it's a seafood restaurant, however I was really surprised. They have a STARBUCKS bar in the restaurant this made my morning even better, which was a plus! For an appetizer I had a very large portion of fresh sliced mixed fruit, and immediately after we were finished our waiter brought out the entree', great timing and it was quite busy. I had the crab hash and it was truly to die for, large lumps of fresh crab meat and diced potatoes under the hash topped with Herb Hollandaise and accented with scrambled eggs on the side, I couldn't eat the entire entree, I truly wished I could. It was so delicious. The atmosphere was very comfortable; I actually forgot I was dining with my boss!

Pros: Great Prices, Fresh Food, Comfortable
