I have been going to Mazary for several years and have been very happy with the staff and the services.

I feel sad to see, that what seems to be some of its competitors, are trying to undermine this excellent service provider by using some very low tactics, such as, bad mouthing.. I think that they'll gain more by trying to improve their own service....

I would recommend Mazary to anyone serious about a great hairstyle and natural looking color service.

I normally would balance the reviews and make a judgement based upon the positives reported. However the responses by this company were a major turnoff. Very defensive and nasty. And several times suggesting the reviewers were liars if they didn't use their full names. Very few people use their full names for online services. So bottom line I would hesitate to use a company whose response to customer service issues is so negative.

This is the best salon for affordable and excellent hair extensions. I have been getting the extensions for nearly a year and love them! They are the most natural looking I have ever found and they don't fall out! Miriam is so personable and wonderful with last minute "emergency" hair appointments, even on her day off! I am a loyal customer for life! Thanks Mazary for excellent service!

I just moved to Plano, and was nervous about getting my hair done here because I'm from Pittsburgh, and have no idea what the stylists down here do. I made an appt at Mazary's before checking the reviews.. Once I checked the reviews though, I will admit that I was scared beyond belief to go to this place with my hair. I thought I was gonna get my money taken from me and have something that looked like a lawnmower ran through it! My husband though convinced me to just give it a try though. So I went.. and I have naturally dark brown hair and for forever since I went to Hairmetrics in Oakmont, PA.. have I been trying to get people to dye it lighter.. Most refuse because of my skin color and/or they say yes but I usually end up walking out with no full color but highlights only. Now I know I'm of a darker skin tone but I can get lighter hair because I'm not that dark.. as long as its done right. Well I'm not sure who I talked to but I'm pretty sure it was the boss because she certainly fit the description. I walked in with my magazines.. pointed at the hair cut I want on one page, which was short in the back, long in the front,, and bangs to eyebrown length.... pointed at the Orange/Red/Blonde Paramour-esque color I wanted on the other.. and she said ooh that would look so nice! A total transformation! It took about 3 1/2 hours to complete the whole thing and cost 220 dollars... but she got it PERFECT! My husband hates.. blondes and short hair.. but he loves mine now.. even more than my waist length dark brown hair I had before.

The girls were so nice there.. Always offering me something to drink... and even through in a FREE eyebrow lightening. If they bad mouth others.. I couldn't understand because they hardly spoke English. I even have a weird spot on my head from birth that they were considerate enough to not ask about.. or say a word about period.

This salon surpassed my expectations by far. Just realize they are a bit pricey and ask about anything else you notice them doing to your hair other than what you came in there for.

I have tried so many hair salons in the last few years but I really like Mazary Hair Salon. The entire staff is very nice and knowledgable. My hair was badly damaged and Alica, my stylist recommended a permanent hair treatment that I highly recommend. Alica takes a lot of time to cut your hair thoroughly and she understands what it is your asking for.

I just moved to Dallas and needed to find a great salon. I found this salon on google and I am not disappointed with my choice. I tried a couple of salons in Frisco that did an "Average" job on my highlights and cut, but it was not the "Wow" factor I was looking for. Alicia did my highlights at Mazary and did an "Awesome" job. She knew exactly what I needed and wanted! Pari cut my hair and spent a great deal of time making sure it was perfect and that I was satisfied. If you need a change or just moved to Dallas...Look no further! Call Mazary Hair Studio.....

I recently moved here from the Washington, DC area- I love it here but my hair didn't. I have shoulder-length hair that I just kept stuck on top of my head. I heard about Mazary and immediately made an appointment- they were very gracious and fit me in. I love the intimate salon environment- I've never had to wait and in fact they seem quite skilled at schedules- depending on what you need. Miriam consults with the stylists in the European tradition and the creative collaboration really separates this salon from any other I've been to. Alicia cut my hair so that it looks great even in the Texas weather changes... I'm a red-head and thanks to her my hair is radiant and the highlights sparkle. I always have at least 3-4 complete strangers (per month) compliment me on my hair and ask where I have it done... just happened last night- a man stopped me and asked about the salon because he wanted to get a gift certificate for his wife. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!

I have been to numerous places in and around Dallas in the past 20 + years. I have been "loyal" to stylist for years and had to find new stylist for different reasons...they moved to another salon or I was disappointed by damaged/over processed hair - the usual stuff. Fearful from a recent experience of over processed "burned" hair that made me return to my natural hair color and on the edge of tears as I sat in Miriam's chair, she assured me she could give me back the blonde highlights I have had since I was a teen, the length I had loss from the breakage over the past 3 months (breakage so severe pieces of regrowth that were 2 inches long were sticking straight up from my scalp!) and the self esteem that comes with your appearance (whether you like to admit that or not).
I left Mazary with beautiful blonde hair that looked like it did months earlier prior to all the damage that had occured!
Thanks to Miriam, Alicia, Pari and Nine - my husband and my son saw the "old" me and when I looked in the mirror I saw the person that I had missed seeing! I have found my hair angel's!!!
Miriam was able to see my hair and within minutes determine what treatments were needed to achieve the desired outcome - an outcome that I could not have even imagined!

I have been going to Miriam for awhile now and she does the best coloring by far. Okay, so the salon itself is a little unconventional and the wait time can be a little long at certain times. Who cares! As a Mom of two, this is one time during my otherwise busy schedule that I don't want to rush. The specialists all go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and relaxed. I also attribute the slower pace at the salon to great color each time. I have never had a poor experience and I have been going to Miriam for 2 years now. I love her work!

I had never had extensions put in but Mazary Hair Studio helped by giving a free consultation that helped waiver my decision to a definite yes! Plus, they were able to slide me into their schedule that day. Since then, I have recommended the salon to all of my friends and family members. Not only does the studio have the top of the line hair extensions that are so natural, but all the over services they do are also just as exceptional. Their location is great, the service is client friendly, and the studio is always clean.

Not only are the usual style magazines available if you have to wait for your appointment time, these ladies step it up with water, sodas, great atmosphere, and excellent service. From cuts, color, styles, extensions to waxing - it is your one stop to freshen your look or do a complete makeover. I highly recommend this salon, its stylists, and services. Enjoy!

I just moved from Connecticut and had a hair-color-in-a-box disaster. After having to sign a waiver at another salon to have a temp color correction, and was not impressed, I had to really get my hair done. My husband was nice enough to search for a salon for me and found Mazary through this exact website. I got an appointment for a sort of meet and greet the next day. Miriam looked at my hair like it was no problem whatsoever and we scheduled a real appointment for two days later. It was funny because I had two people coloring my hair at once (high lights and low lights), and a third to wash and cut. Meanwhile they glowed over my 4 year old daughter during and after her haircut! I left the salon looking gorgeous and feeling great. I have had nothing but wonderful compliments on my new hairstyle. They gave me a cut that was complimentary to my face (and easy to do myself), my color was EXACTLY what I had asked for (perfectly matched low lights to my roots). They made me look more like the stylish mom of three that I am!

Exceptionally nice employees, very professional and focused hair stylists! My daughter was also impressed; she snacked on cookies and was wooed by all the girls. I really liked how they didn't have or try to sell any hair products. I felt like a queen. And the Willow Bend section of Plano is a nice place to be anyway. I'm definitely looking forward to my next rendezvous with Mazary Hair Studio.

I called Mazary Hair studio for my bridal hairstyle and last minute I may add (got the running around bride to be crazies..LOL). However, they got me in same day for my trial run and did a FANTASTIC job on everything. Miriam is wonderful...she is not satisfied until you are and wants you to be completely happy. I came back in for my Bridal pictures and they were so sweet because I was nervous and did a great job again. The thing I love the most about them is their SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE...let's face it in today's world it is often a thing of the past...but not so here. I was greeted promptly, they got me in a chair and provided me with a nice beverage while I relaxed and they took care of everything. I would HIGHLY recommend this salon...in fact I have found the salon of choice for me. This place is a treasured find. THANKS Miriam and staff for making me look beautiful!

I was in need of immediate service and they graciously took me in that afternoon. The girls and staff are so nice and made me feel comfortable ...I knew I was in good hands. I was looking into getting hair extensions and found Mazary on Citysearch - it was highly recommended, so I went for a free consultation. My appointment was at 5:30, and when I decided that I did want to get the hair extensions, Miriam stayed after hours to finish my hair.
After being in the salon for 30 minutes, I felt like I had been a regular customer for years. Everyone is so inviting and it was an overall wonderful experience. I will definitely become a regular patron at this hair studio.

Calling all blondes! If you have color processed blonde hair, you know how hard it is to find someone who truly knows how to do blonde. I moved here 2 years ago and went through four colour "specialists" before I found Miriam at Mazary Hair Studio. She is amazing!! I go medium blonde with highlights and lowlights, but more highlights than lowlights, and sometimes I tone it down for a small change. Whatever I want to do, Miriam makes it happen, and she nails it every time. So, my blonde sisters, if you are looking a great colourist try Mazary Hair Studio. Who isn't afraid to try out a new hair salon?? Well, fear no more!! Mazary Hair Studio is the place where you can relax and know that you will leave the salon feeling fabulous!

I recently returned to Mazary for the second time and Alicia cut my hair. (Pari, the woman who cut my hair the first time, was out of the country on vacation.) I couldn't be happier! Alicia took the time to listen to what kind of cut I wanted, added her input, and started the process. An hour and a half later, I was thrilled! My thin, dark, one-length, long-overdue for a haircut, hair had been masterfully changed into a multi-layered bob which makes my hair look full and thick. The price for the cut is actually less than what I have paid in the past for a cut. She's lots of fun and great at what she does. I particularly her attention to detail. She wasn't going to let me leave until my cut was perfect.

The experience was fantastic. From the home-made breads they offer to the selection of drinks, it's just lots of fun. I recently returned for a brow shaping with Effie and will most definately return to see her as well. I would recommend Mazary to anyone needing a cut. I've not tried any of the color processes and won't ever get extensions, but I've seen many people walk out of the salon super excited with their new color and extensions.

I always had a hard time finding a good stylist. I was so scared of getting my hair done because everytime I walked out of a salon I would walk out crying like a little baby, but not anymore. I finally find my match! I was attended with quick service, very polite, and with real professional that knew what they were doing. It took two girls to do my hair and Alicia did an excellent job cutting my hair. She was very patient and took her time. I would definatley recommend Mazary's Studio. The next day I went to work and everyone complimented me on my hair. Now I know that the next time I get my hair done at Mazary's Hair Studio I'll have a big smile on my face. Thanks everyone!

For someone like me, who expects to get what I pay for, Mazary is the place for hair. My color has never looked better, my cut grows out so beautifully that I'm not panicked by the time my next appointment rolls around, and I have never been kept waiting. Mazary is a little pricey, but you can easily pay more around Dallas. All of the girls who work for Miriam are taken under her expert wing so it doesn't matter who your appointment is with. She speaks warmly to everyone who walks in and touches every head with her discerning eye. Miriam is not only working on her own clients, she is constantly teaching and appraising the other stylists and making absolutely certain that you are pleased and that you look perfect before you walk out the door.

Regardless of your age or personal style, I truly believe you will feel comfortable here. I know you will look -- and feel --- better when you leave than when you walked in.

WOW! I found this place on the internet and called to make an appointment. I havent had my hair highlighted in over 10 years and was a little nervous to trust anyone. I took a chance and it was well worth it. Marium and Alica were amazing. They are very fun, professional, and treat everyone like royalty. Their customer service is top of the line and their hair product keep your hair healthly. They write down your colors and keep a file so you wont ever have to remember. Keep up the great work and for anyone out there with doubt this is the place to go!

I was having huge issues with my previous salon and located Mazary online through google. I called on Friday and was able to get an appointment for first thing Saturday morning. I arrived for my appointment an hour early (due to my own scheduling mistake), but it was not a problem. Mariam welcomed me and took me right in. The entire staff was welcoming and kind. I've had hair extensions for 3 years and had them done in major US cities from Atlanta to Seattle at the best salons. On 7/2007, I moved to Dallas &searched for The BEST once more! I found it! Mazary!!! Miriam & her wonderful stylists have given me PERFECTION over the past year. I write this review, because I believe Miriam's attention to detail, instruction on care, and advice on what products to use, and also MY RESPONSIBILITY to take care of them properly is a recipe not just for great looking extensions, but healthier, stronger, more shiny hair in general. My hair looks great & is growing unbelievably.I can't agree with the sob stories about people getting home & having their extensions "fall out"! This just doesn't happen, it NEVER happens. (probably buyers' remorse) Look, Miriam can give you all you dream of in long beautiful hair, but if you don't use the proper shampoo/conditioner, brush, follow the very simple care instructions at home, you'll probably have some issues. SHE TELLS CLIENTS THAT!! Extensions always come with instructions! I just replaced mine on 8/20, which were put in 6/5. In those weeks,I spent 3 wks at the beach, in pools, on boats, in the sun, having to wash, style often...guess what, I didn't lose ONE precious extension from 6/5 until 8/20. I just cared for them as I was told. I had them replaced, because my hair had grown almost 2 inches! My hair is so strong and healthy now, I barely needed 100 ext.'s in my very fine hair! MIRIAM, is a physician of hair (being a health prof. myself, I know compliance is key). Miriam knows what your hair needs, she doesn't send you home without explicit care instructions.FOLLOW THEM, use the right shampoo/conditioning product,etc. take care of them! I went to Mazary 3 weeks ago to have extensions put in my hair for my wedding- They did not last even 1 week-
Exactly one day before my wedding, I started having problems- I was in a complete panic- I was trying to get everything in order for my wedding that was supposed to take place in less than 24 hours and had a family dinner to go to later that evening- I called Mariam to explain my delima, hoping I could get in to get them fixed, instead of her offering to make it right, she automatically starting making negative statements towards me, saying it was my fault and had to be improperly taking care of them for them to start falling out-
I ended my call with her and immediately called my best friend, who came right over and was able to temporairly fix them- I ended up going somewhere else after the wedding to have them fixed correctly-
I was reading the reviews posted here to see if any one else has experience what I have, and It amazes me what the positive reviews say- I was not in any way abused while I was there, but I did not see any staff flock around anyone, spoil them, or offer choclates- Instead, it was just a normal place, with alot of sale pitches, which I considered a little on the pushy side, trying to sell their prodiucts- After my experience, I spoke with some of my friends who have also been to Mazary, and I heard the same thing from them- Basically, it is just a normal place with high prices-
I will not go back and have learned just because a place is expensive, it does not mean you are going to get that professional look-

Mazary - my heroines! My former stylist, who I've had for several years, left for a salon out of the area. I searched and searched for a new place. Finally found a salon I felt comfortable with...and went and had new color and asked for a trim. The color was great, but the trim was a disaster. The "trim" became a full blown "cut", which cost me 3-4 inches in length. The ends were done shaggy, which left my fine hair looking horrendous. I found Mazary and called quite desperate on a Monday morning. Miriam answered and was completely compassionate about my plight. Even though the salon was not open that day, she offered to meet me that afternoon for a consult. After discussing options, she booked an appointment for me the following morning. When I arrived, I walked in and started bawling. Instantly 4 women (3 Mazary women and 1 fellow customer) surrounded me. They gave me hugs, delicious hazelnut coffee and a scrumptious brownie (who doesn't love chocolate TLC?!). I was given a great scalp treatment and massage, deep conditioning treatment for my hair, received a complimentary hand massage and then Miriam did a gorgeous job recreating my cut, only taking off what length was necessary to get the style back in order. I am delighted with the outcome and highly recommend Miriam and her ladies. They create a wonderful environment, treat each other and their customers with the highest respect and a commitment to excellence. I will be back again and again and again. Thank you, Mazary. You are my angels!

I read the reviews and I was really excited that finally I found a place that takes good care of my hair. But after going there, I realized it was just average. I don't think it's bad, but there's nothing impressive about it. One thing I didn't like was the sales pitch. It was non stop offering for services that I didn't need. It started with thousands of $ worth of extensions, to hair color, hair vitamins, hair treatment. I only went for a simple haircut and the sales pitch took longer than the cut and the styling.

I was ready for a big change and didn't trust just anyone to do it, but am fairly new to the area, so had no idea where to go. I found Mazary online and decided to try it based on the reveiws. I am glad I did. I went from long hair to very short, received an overall color and even a pink hair extension. It was fabulous all around. It was more expensive than I thought it would be, but I've thoroughly enjoyed my new style and have received lots of compliments. I feel like I've found a great salon and will be going back. I've already recommended it to several friends.

Miriam is the best I have ever seen. I have natuarally curly and very thick hair and she does a FANASTIC highlight and low light. I have had many compliments on my color. It looks very natural. If you don't mind spending several hours there then this is the place for you. It is definitely worth the time and money. I won't let anyone else touch my hair.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating as soon as you walk in the door. They offer you a drink and want to make sure they start at your appointment time. Alicia listened to what I had in mind. I was going in for a change in hair color (from blonde to red). Even though my color is not exactly what I told her I was looking for, she assured me that the first time, it may be darker than expected. She explained that red is a hard color to achieve and that after she can see how it fades and "takes" to my hair, we would get a better result. I plan to stop by after a week and let her look at it and see what she thinks about adjusting the color solution. Everyone was extremely polite and I will definately visit them again soon! The prices are more than what expected, but since I am new to TX this may be the "norm" here. Thanks to Alicia and the rest of the staff!!

This was definitely one of the most pleasurable experiences I have had at a hair salon. The owner and the staff are the most hospitable individuals and ensure you are thoroughly taken care of. They continuously check to ensure you have everything you need. The best part of all; this was the best highlight and haircut I have had in the DFW Area. They ask relevant questions to ensure they meet your expectations each step of the way. I brought in a picture of exactly what I wanted and they exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend you book your next hair appointment at Mazary's. You will not be disappointed!!

Miriam and her staff are unbelievable, that is all I have to say. We all hear stories about how expensive services are -- especially in North Dallas. Mazary is worth every penny & more. Miriam goes above & beyond and so does her staff. She immediately understood the quirks of my hair -- knew what would work best with the shape of my face -- and took the time to tailor the cut to my personality. I had been to Mazary Hair Studio almost a year ago for hair extensions, and after having recent surgery with some hair loss, I really wanted to get the extensions again.
I was in the area one day and just thought I would stop in Mazary's and see about getting my extensions done there after remembering how pleased I was with them the first time. Well when I walked in, it was like I had never left. Everyone in the salon remembered me and greeted me, and It was so nice to see that the same girls were all still there too. From the start, Mariam knew just what I needed with extensions and hair color and was also willing to start at that moment if my schedule allowed it. We decided to do the color right then and I would come back the next day for the extensions. After the color process, I was amazed at how beautifully Mariam had transformed my old highlights and color into whole new tones that were so much more flattering than before. That is when I knew that I should have been going there all along for my hair color.
The next day, when I came in, Mariam chose the perfect extensions with just the right colors to match my own hair and then Affi did all the application. I soon saw that Affi was a true master at applying hair extensions as she worked in just the right patterns of color, it was like she was working on an artisic masterpiece.
When she was finished, I never believed my hair could look that amazing. I have had extensions a few other times from other salons, and I have to say that this total application showed the major amount of talent and skill it takes to do a beautiful head of hair extensions.
So, If you need hair color or want to take the plunge into the world of hair extensions, you will surely be rewarded greatly by the talents and expertise of these girls at Mazary Hair Salon time and time again.

The next day, Mariam chose the perfect extensions to match my new color and by the end of that appointment, , my new hair extensions integrated into my own hair looked absolutely stunning. Affi did all of the extension application and she is truly a master at hair extensions. She worked in the perfect colors with my own color like she was creating an artistic masterpiece. The entire process did look like a work of art and I never realized how important it is to work in just the right color extensions in the right patterns to match your own hair color. I don't think I will go a year again without visiting Mazary's again because I believe you can truly walk in and put yourself entirely in that staff's hands and feel the most cofmortable and confident in anything any of them do. They are a true gem to have in our area. Thanks to all of the staff, and I will see you again soon.

This hair salon is very accomodating to me. I am handicapped, and have difficulties styling my own hair, and the staff here helps me find ways to accomplish this. I am very satisfied with their service. I can walk in with no notice and they will help me.

Whenever I'm in the studio, I am made to feel as if I'm the only patron there; smiles are on all of the faces; services go beyond just physical improvements. I'm always relaxed & have fun. I leave with stylish, up-to-date looks.

Pros: Experts, easily accessible, very timely services, appointments easily made

Cons: time's up . . . can't think of any.

When I decided to have 10" of hair cut off for Locks of Love, I went to Mazary, because my grandparents always go there and rave about it. I was not disappointed; my new style is AWESOME, and I've been able to help someone else out in the process. I really recommend them!

I've gone to multiple salons in the North Dallas area over the last 10 years, and the best I can say about most of them is they were great for damaging my hair! Mazary has reversed this trend; my hair is now the perfect color, the damage has been corrected, and I am completely satisfied. The staff is friendly and attentive, and I even have my husband going now! By the way, although not an advertised service, they are also superb at eyebrows!

My wife moved over to Mazary from Regis - they were doing too much damage to her hair. She had excellent service and prompt attention, along with appointments on the day and time we needed because of our jobs. I thought "Why not?" and so I tried it out, instead of the Sports Clips cuts that I had been getting. Superb - haven't been any other place since!

I had a great experience with hair studio. My hair after highlight, coloring and hair cut looked gorgeous. I recomend this Studio to everybody
