Mariam took the time away from her shop to fly from texas to Boston to take care of all the makeup and hairstyles for all my daughters wedding party. She is the best I have ever known and as a human being she is warm and friendly and just an all around good person. I will always follow Mariam around no matter what city or state she ends up in! Been following her for over 15 years now. I love this woman!! My daughter also flies in from Boston just to have Mariam do her hair. I will always be greatful to Mariam for the length she went to just to make my daughters wedding a success for her.

I live in London UK I visted my friend Fariba in Dallas 2 months ago. She looked so pretty with her new hair style that I just had to beg her to take me to her hair salon. She took me to Mazary Hair Studio where I had this amazing new hair cut and style. When I came back to England, all my friends wanted to know where I had this wonderful cut ? To thier disapointment, I had to tell them it was done in Dallas not London as they had wished.

Mazary has taken care of my hair for the last 3 years. Marian, the owner, is wonderful at pinpointing the color that is right for you and also to apply the blending extensions and cut. It's the best salon and the staff is well qualified.

I happened to find Mariam and Mazary Hair Studio almost 3 years ago when she was in a tiny store front shop. Her wonderful way with people and expetise in hair color and design have proven to be her strenghths. Her bussiness has grown, and her new studio is bigger and better, yet retains the same charm and friendly atmosphere.
Mariam has transformed my curly hair into beatiful straight locks and the color is amazing..

They're really good at what they're doing and provide the best color and extensions I've ever had. My fomer hair service provider, a very famous name and considered as a Beverly Hills notoriety, doesn't even come close to what the owner and stylists of this little Plano salon know and do.

This Salon is my home away from home. I travel every 4 weeks to Dallas and when I get in, I aways make an appointment with Mazary. The price is great and no one can do hair like they do! This comes from a person who travels over 1000 miles to get my hair done!

These great ladies are more mature and know what they are doing. They will make your hair right, exactly how you want it! They do book a lot and have a lot of walk ins. I have never seen them turn anyone down that comes in. So be prepared to wait a bit for your great hair... they do move in and out of all the clients to assure everyone gets great hair, hence a bit of a wait.

I have been going to Mazary for several years and have been very happy with the staff and the services.

I feel sad to see, that what seems to be some of its competitors, are trying to undermine this excellent service provider by using some very low tactics, such as, bad mouthing.. I think that they'll gain more by trying to improve their own service....

I would recommend Mazary to anyone serious about a great hairstyle and natural looking color service.

I normally would balance the reviews and make a judgement based upon the positives reported. However the responses by this company were a major turnoff. Very defensive and nasty. And several times suggesting the reviewers were liars if they didn't use their full names. Very few people use their full names for online services. So bottom line I would hesitate to use a company whose response to customer service issues is so negative.

This is the best salon for affordable and excellent hair extensions. I have been getting the extensions for nearly a year and love them! They are the most natural looking I have ever found and they don't fall out! Miriam is so personable and wonderful with last minute "emergency" hair appointments, even on her day off! I just moved to Plano, and was nervous about getting my hair done here because I'm from Pittsburgh, and have no idea what the stylists down here do. I made an appt at Mazary's before checking the reviews.. Once I checked the reviews though, I will admit that I was scared beyond belief to go to this place with my hair. I thought I was gonna get my money taken from me and have something that looked like a lawnmower ran through it! My husband though convinced me to just give it a try though. So I went.. and I have naturally dark brown hair and for forever since I went to Hairmetrics in Oakmont, PA.. have I been trying to get people to dye it lighter.. Most refuse because of my skin color and/or they say yes but I usually end up walking out with no full color but highlights only. Now I know I'm of a darker skin tone but I can get lighter hair because I'm not that dark.. as long as its done right. Well I'm not sure who I talked to but I'm pretty sure it was the boss because she certainly fit the description. I walked in with my magazines.. pointed at the hair cut I want on one page, which was short in the back, long in the front,, and bangs to eyebrown length.... pointed at the Orange/Red/Blonde Paramour-esque color I wanted on the other.. and she said ooh that would look so nice! A total transformation! It took about 3 1/2 hours to complete the whole thing and cost 220 dollars... but she got it PERFECT! My husband hates.. blondes and short hair.. but he loves mine now.. even more than my waist length dark brown hair I had before.

The girls were so nice there.. Always offering me something to drink... and even through in a FREE eyebrow lightening. If they bad mouth others.. I couldn't understand because they hardly spoke English. I even have a weird spot on my head from birth that they were considerate enough to not ask about.. or say a word about period.

This salon surpassed my expectations by far. Just realize they are a bit pricey and ask about anything else you notice them doing to your hair other than what you came in there for.

I have tried so many hair salons in the last few years but I really like Mazary Hair Salon. The entire staff is very nice and knowledgable. My hair was badly damaged and Alica, my stylist recommended a permanent hair treatment that I highly recommend. Alica takes a lot of time to cut your hair thoroughly and she understands what it is your asking for.

I just moved to Dallas and needed to find a great salon. I found this salon on google and I am not disappointed with my choice. I tried a couple of salons in Frisco that did an "Average" job on my highlights and cut, but it was not the "Wow" factor I was looking for. Alicia did my highlights at Mazary and did an "Awesome" job. She knew exactly what I needed and wanted! Pari cut my hair and spent a great deal of time making sure it was perfect and that I was satisfied. If you need a change or just moved to Dallas...Look no further! Call Mazary Hair Studio.....

I recently moved here from the Washington, DC area- I love it here but my hair didn't. I have shoulder-length hair that I just kept stuck on top of my head. I heard about Mazary and immediately made an appointment- they were very gracious and fit me in. I love the intimate salon environment- I've never had to wait and in fact they seem quite skilled at schedules- depending on what you need. Miriam consults with the stylists in the European tradition and the creative collaboration really separates this salon from any other I've been to. Alicia cut my hair so that it looks great even in the Texas weather changes... I'm a red-head and thanks to her my hair is radiant and the highlights sparkle. I always have at least 3-4 complete strangers (per month) compliment me on my hair and ask where I have it done... just happened last night- a man stopped me and asked about the salon because he wanted to get a gift certificate for his wife. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!

I have been to numerous places in and around Dallas in the past 20 + years. I have been "loyal" to stylist for years and had to find new stylist for different reasons...they moved to another salon or I was disappointed by damaged/over processed hair - the usual stuff. Fearful from a recent experience of over processed "burned" hair that made me return to my natural hair color and on the edge of tears as I sat in Miriam's chair, she assured me she could give me back the blonde highlights I have had since I was a teen, the length I had loss from the breakage over the past 3 months (breakage so severe pieces of regrowth that were 2 inches long were sticking straight up from my scalp!) and the self esteem that comes with your appearance (whether you like to admit that or not).
I left Mazary with beautiful blonde hair that looked like it did months earlier prior to all the damage that had occured!
Thanks to Miriam, Alicia, Pari and Nine - my husband and my son saw the "old" me and when I looked in the mirror I saw the person that I had missed seeing! I have found my hair angel's!!!
Miriam was able to see my hair and within minutes determine what treatments were needed to achieve the desired outcome - an outcome that I could not have even imagined!

I have been going to Miriam for awhile now and she does the best coloring by far. Okay, so the salon itself is a little unconventional and the wait time can be a little long at certain times. Who cares! As a Mom of two, this is one time during my otherwise busy schedule that I don't want to rush. The specialists all go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and relaxed. I also attribute the slower pace at the salon to great color each time. I have never had a poor experience and I have been going to Miriam for 2 years now. I love her work!

I had never had extensions put in but Mazary Hair Studio helped by giving a free consultation that helped waiver my decision to a definite yes! Plus, they were able to slide me into their schedule that day. Since then, I have recommended the salon to all of my friends and family members. Not only does the studio have the top of the line hair extensions that are so natural, but all the over services they do are also just as exceptional. Their location is great, the service is client friendly, and the studio is always clean.

I just moved from Connecticut and had a hair-color-in-a-box disaster. After having to sign a waiver at another salon to have a temp color correction, and was not impressed, I had to really get my hair done. My husband was nice enough to search for a salon for me and found Mazary through this exact website. I got an appointment for a sort of meet and greet the next day. Miriam looked at my hair like it was no problem whatsoever and we scheduled a real appointment for two days later. It was funny because I had two people coloring my hair at once (high lights and low lights), and a third to wash and cut. Meanwhile they glowed over my 4 year old daughter during and after her haircut! I left the salon looking gorgeous and feeling great. I have had nothing but wonderful compliments on my new hairstyle. They gave me a cut that was complimentary to my face (and easy to do myself), my color was EXACTLY what I had asked for (perfectly matched low lights to my roots). They made me look more like the stylish mom of three that I am!

Exceptionally nice employees, very professional and focused hair stylists! My daughter was also impressed; she snacked on cookies and was wooed by all the girls. I really liked how they didn't have or try to sell any hair products. I felt like a queen. And the Willow Bend section of Plano is a nice place to be anyway. I'm definitely looking forward to my next rendezvous with Mazary Hair Studio.

I called Mazary Hair studio for my bridal hairstyle and last minute I may add (got the running around bride to be crazies..LOL). However, they got me in same day for my trial run and did a FANTASTIC job on everything. Miriam is wonderful...she is not satisfied until you are and wants you to be completely happy. I came back in for my Bridal pictures and they were so sweet because I was nervous and did a great job again. The thing I love the most about them is their SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE...let's face it in today's world it is often a thing of the past...but not so here. I was greeted promptly, they got me in a chair and provided me with a nice beverage while I relaxed and they took care of everything. I would HIGHLY recommend this salon...in fact I have found the salon of choice for me. This place is a treasured find. THANKS Miriam and staff for making me look beautiful!

I was looking into getting hair extensions and found Mazary on Citysearch - it was highly recommended, so I went for a free consultation. My appointment was at 5:30, and when I decided that I did want to get the hair extensions, Miriam stayed after hours to finish my hair.
After being in the salon for 30 minutes, I felt like I had been a regular customer for years. Everyone is so inviting and it was an overall wonderful experience. I will definitely become a regular patron at this hair studio.

Calling all blondes! If you have color processed blonde hair, you know how hard it is to find someone who truly knows how to do blonde. I moved here 2 years ago and went through four colour "specialists" before I found Miriam at Mazary Hair Studio. She is amazing!! I go medium blonde with highlights and lowlights, but more highlights than lowlights, and sometimes I tone it down for a small change. Whatever I want to do, Miriam makes it happen, and she nails it every time. So, my blonde sisters, if you are looking a great colourist try Mazary Hair Studio. You know how many frogs we kiss to find a great hair dresser! Kiss no more!

Who isn't afraid to try out a new hair salon?? Well, fear no more!! Mazary Hair Studio is the place where you can relax and know that you will leave the salon feeling fabulous!

I recently returned to Mazary for the second time and Alicia cut my hair. (Pari, the woman who cut my hair the first time, was out of the country on vacation.) I couldn't be happier! Alicia took the time to listen to what kind of cut I wanted, added her input, and started the process. An hour and a half later, I was thrilled! My thin, dark, one-length, long-overdue for a haircut, hair had been masterfully changed into a multi-layered bob which makes my hair look full and thick. The price for the cut is actually less than what I have paid in the past for a cut. She's lots of fun and great at what she does. I particularly her attention to detail. She wasn't going to let me leave until my cut was perfect.

The experience was fantastic. From the home-made breads they offer to the selection of drinks, it's just lots of fun. I recently returned for a brow shaping with Effie and will most definately return to see her as well. I would recommend Mazary to anyone needing a cut. I've not tried any of the color processes and won't ever get extensions, but I've seen many people walk out of the salon super excited with their new color and extensions.

I always had a hard time finding a good stylist. I was so scared of getting my hair done because everytime I walked out of a salon I would walk out crying like a little baby, but not anymore. I finally find my match! I was attended with quick service, very polite, and with real professional that knew what they were doing. It took two girls to do my hair and Alicia did an excellent job cutting my hair. She was very patient and took her time. I would definatley recommend Mazary's Studio. The next day I went to work and everyone complimented me on my hair. Now I know that the next time I get my hair done at Mazary's Hair Studio I'll have a big smile on my face. Thanks everyone!

For someone like me, who expects to get what I pay for, Mazary is the place for hair. My color has never looked better, my cut grows out so beautifully that I'm not panicked by the time my next appointment rolls around, and I have never been kept waiting. Mazary is a little pricey, but you can easily pay more around Dallas. All of the girls who work for Miriam are taken under her expert wing so it doesn't matter who your appointment is with. She speaks warmly to everyone who walks in and touches every head with her discerning eye. Miriam is not only working on her own clients, she is constantly teaching and appraising the other stylists and making absolutely certain that you are pleased and that you look perfect before you walk out the door.

Regardless of your age or personal style, I truly believe you will feel comfortable here. I know you will look -- and feel --- better when you leave than when you walked in.

WOW! I found this place on the internet and called to make an appointment. I havent had my hair highlighted in over 10 years and was a little nervous to trust anyone. I took a chance and it was well worth it. Marium and Alica were amazing. They are very fun, professional, and treat everyone like royalty. Their customer service is top of the line and their hair product keep your hair healthly. They write down your colors and keep a file so you wont ever have to remember. Keep up the great work and for anyone out there with doubt this is the place to go!

I was having huge issues with my previous salon and located Mazary online through google. I called on Friday and was able to get an appointment for first thing Saturday morning. I arrived for my appointment an hour early (due to my own scheduling mistake), but it was not a problem. Mariam welcomed me and took me right in. The entire staff was welcoming and kind. I've had hair extensions for 3 years and had them done in major US cities from Atlanta to Seattle at the best salons. On 7/2007, I moved to Dallas &searched for The BEST once more! I found it! Mazary!!! Miriam & her wonderful stylists have given me PERFECTION over the past year. I write this review, because I believe Miriam's attention to detail, instruction on care, and advice on what products to use, and also MY RESPONSIBILITY to take care of them properly is a recipe not just for great looking extensions, but healthier, stronger, more shiny hair in general. My hair looks great & is growing unbelievably.I can't agree with the sob stories about people getting home & having their extensions "fall out"! This just doesn't happen, it NEVER happens. (probably buyers' remorse) Look, Miriam can give you all you dream of in long beautiful hair, but if you don't use the proper shampoo/conditioner, brush, follow the very simple care instructions at home, you'll probably have some issues. SHE TELLS CLIENTS THAT!! Extensions always come with instructions! I just replaced mine on 8/20, which were put in 6/5. In those weeks,I spent 3 wks at the beach, in pools, on boats, in the sun, having to wash, style often...guess what, I didn't lose ONE precious extension from 6/5 until 8/20. I just cared for them as I was told. I had them replaced, because my hair had grown almost 2 inches! My hair is so strong and healthy now, I barely needed 100 ext.'s in my very fine hair! MIRIAM, is a physician of hair (being a health prof. myself, I know compliance is key). Miriam knows what your hair needs, she doesn't send you home without explicit care instructions.FOLLOW THEM, use the right shampoo/conditioning product,etc. take care of them! I went to Mazary 3 weeks ago to have extensions put in my hair for my wedding- They did not last even 1 week-
Exactly one day before my wedding, I started having problems- I was in a complete panic- I was trying to get everything in order for my wedding that was supposed to take place in less than 24 hours and had a family dinner to go to later that evening- I called Mariam to explain my delima, hoping I could get in to get them fixed, instead of her offering to make it right, she automatically starting making negative statements towards me, saying it was my fault and had to be improperly taking care of them for them to start falling out-
I ended my call with her and immediately called my best friend, who came right over and was able to temporairly fix them- I ended up going somewhere else after the wedding to have them fixed correctly-
I was reading the reviews posted here to see if any one else has experience what I have, and It amazes me what the positive reviews say- I was not in any way abused while I was there, but I did not see any staff flock around anyone, spoil them, or offer choclates- Instead, it was just a normal place, with alot of sale pitches, which I considered a little on the pushy side, trying to sell their prodiucts- After my experience, I spoke with some of my friends who have also been to Mazary, and I heard the same thing from them- Basically, it is just a normal place with high prices-
I will not go back and have learned just because a place is expensive, it does not mean you are going to get that professional look-

Mazary - my heroines! My former stylist, who I've had for several years, left for a salon out of the area. I searched and searched for a new place. Finally found a salon I felt comfortable with...and went and had new color and asked for a trim. The color was great, but the trim was a disaster. The "trim" became a full blown "cut", which cost me 3-4 inches in length. The ends were done shaggy, which left my fine hair looking horrendous. I found Mazary and called quite desperate on a Monday morning. Miriam answered and was completely compassionate about my plight. Even though the salon was not open that day, she offered to meet me that afternoon for a consult. After discussing options, she booked an appointment for me the following morning. When I arrived, I walked in and started bawling. Instantly 4 women (3 Mazary women and 1 fellow customer) surrounded me. They gave me hugs, delicious hazelnut coffee and a scrumptious brownie (who doesn't love chocolate TLC?!). I was given a great scalp treatment and massage, deep conditioning treatment for my hair, received a complimentary hand massage and then Miriam did a gorgeous job recreating my cut, only taking off what length was necessary to get the style back in order. I am delighted with the outcome and highly recommend Miriam and her ladies. They create a wonderful environment, treat each other and their customers with the highest respect and a commitment to excellence. I will be back again and again and again. Thank you, Mazary. You are my angels!

I read the reviews and I was really excited that finally I found a place that takes good care of my hair. But after going there, I realized it was just average. I don't think it's bad, but there's nothing impressive about it. One thing I didn't like was the sales pitch. It was non stop offering for services that I didn't need. It started with thousands of $ worth of extensions, to hair color, hair vitamins, hair treatment. I only went for a simple haircut and the sales pitch took longer than the cut and the styling.

I was ready for a big change and didn't trust just anyone to do it, but am fairly new to the area, so had no idea where to go. I found Mazary online and decided to try it based on the reveiws. I am glad I did. I went from long hair to very short, received an overall color and even a pink hair extension. It was fabulous all around. It was more expensive than I thought it would be, but I've thoroughly enjoyed my new style and have received lots of compliments. I feel like I've found a great salon and will be going back. I've already recommended it to several friends.

Miriam is the best I have ever seen. I have natuarally curly and very thick hair and she does a FANASTIC highlight and low light. I have had many compliments on my color. It looks very natural. The staff was very friendly and accomodating as soon as you walk in the door. They offer you a drink and want to make sure they start at your appointment time. Alicia listened to what I had in mind. I was going in for a change in hair color (from blonde to red). Even though my color is not exactly what I told her I was looking for, she assured me that the first time, it may be darker than expected. She explained that red is a hard color to achieve and that after she can see how it fades and "takes" to my hair, we would get a better result. I plan to stop by after a week and let her look at it and see what she thinks about adjusting the color solution. Everyone was extremely polite and I will definately visit them again soon! The prices are more than what expected, but since I am new to TX this may be the "norm" here. Thanks to Alicia and the rest of the staff!!

I had been to Mazary Hair Studio almost a year ago for hair extensions, and after having recent surgery with some hair loss, I really wanted to get the extensions again.
I was in the area one day and just thought I would stop in Mazary's and see about getting my extensions done there after remembering how pleased I was with them the first time. Well when I walked in, it was like I had never left. Everyone in the salon remembered me and greeted me, and It was so nice to see that the same girls were all still there too. From the start, Mariam knew just what I needed with extensions and hair color and was also willing to start at that moment if my schedule allowed it. We decided to do the color right then and I would come back the next day for the extensions. After the color process, I was amazed at how beautifully Mariam had transformed my old highlights and color into whole new tones that were so much more flattering than before. That is when I knew that I should have been going there all along for my hair color.
The next day, when I came in, Mariam chose the perfect extensions with just the right colors to match my own hair and then Affi did all the application. I soon saw that Affi was a true master at applying hair extensions as she worked in just the right patterns of color, it was like she was working on an artisic masterpiece.
When she was finished, I never believed my hair could look that amazing. I have had extensions a few other times from other salons, and I have to say that this total application showed the major amount of talent and skill it takes to do a beautiful head of hair extensions.
So, If you need hair color or want to take the plunge into the world of hair extensions, you will surely be rewarded greatly by the talents and expertise of these girls at Mazary Hair Salon time and time again.

The next day, Mariam chose the perfect extensions to match my new color and by the end of that appointment, , my new hair extensions integrated into my own hair looked absolutely stunning. Affi did all of the extension application and she is truly a master at hair extensions. She worked in the perfect colors with my own color like she was creating an artistic masterpiece. The entire process did look like a work of art and I never realized how important it is to work in just the right color extensions in the right patterns to match your own hair color. I don't think I will go a year again without visiting Mazary's again because I believe you can truly walk in and put yourself entirely in that staff's hands and feel the most cofmortable and confident in anything any of them do. They are a true gem to have in our area. Thanks to all of the staff, and I will see you again soon.

I've gone to multiple salons in the North Dallas area over the last 10 years, and the best I can say about most of them is they were great for damaging my hair! Mazary has reversed this trend; my hair is now the perfect color, the damage has been corrected, and I am completely satisfied. The staff is friendly and attentive, and I even have my husband going now! By the way, although not an advertised service, they are also superb at eyebrows!

My hair color experience here was excellent. I was not as happy with my cut, initially, but I've had a few days to work with and I like it much better. When I moved to Texas from Southern California I needed to find a hair stylist. Price was not an issue as long as I liked the cut and color. I'm someone who decides at the last minute to get my hair cut or colored, so I needed someone who would make time for me with short notice. I tried the Jose Eber salon in Plano thinking that the higher price would result in a better look (which it didn't) and Toni & Guy because I waited too long and needed my hair done right away, but didn't find what I liked until I tried Mazary. The owner, Miriam, has a wonderful, warm personality and makes you feel at ease immediately. She does a good job on my hair, which I like to have look professional and stylish. Miriam is always willing to fit me into her schedule when I call at the last minute, even if it means coming in earlier or staying later than she had originally planned. I highly recommend Mazary for both cuts and color.

At almost 5:00 pm on a Saturday, I was wanting a haircut badly and doubting I'd find a decent place that would fit me in. Especially not with my normal guy! I googled hair salons in the area and found all the great reviews for Mazary's, so I gave them a call. Astonishingly enough, a very sweet man answered the phone and said they could take me in 15 minutes. WOW! I drove over and I was greeted by the same man outside, he walked me in and offered me a beverage, some complementary wine! I've never had wine at a salon before, this was a first! I was seated immediately and the wonderful Mariam took care of me, looked at my hair, listened to my needs, and gave me a beautiful cut! Her assistant, Pari, did an amazing job weaving my eyebrows ( which was also a first)! I was very happy and very pleased with this AWESOME staff in Plano. Thank you so much I will definately come back again!

I've moved here from Beverly Hills, California and for about one year I had nightmare experiences in 3 other professional salons located in Plano. The Mazery Studio is the first place I left feeling happy about my hair and scalp condition since I alway go lighter than my natural color. The people who work at the Mazery Hair Studio are very professional, hard working and do a great job. If you don't like something they are always willing to work with you so that you leave happy. This place is absolutely amazing....I have been going for a year now. I discovered it on citysearch as it was the only place I could find review of all the salons in the area being new in Dallas. I have naturally dark hair and for someone to get highlights with the just the right color to make them look natural has always been near impossible. But Miriam is a color expert...she knew just the right combination of color/tonor to get the perfect highlights. I recently had my highlights done by one of the new girls and she was amazing. She was meticulous about rehighlighting the same strands and getting as close to the root as possible!!!! Even the girl who blowdried my hair was amazing. My hair looks wonderful and I have Miriam and her staff to thank for it. Miriam you are a gem...I wish you all the best!!

This is my second visit to the salon and I got the same great color and cut for a great price. They also stock great hair products called fx suds that you can't find in a lot of places. I haven't got extensions, but I have seen their work and it is amazing how real it looks. The owner or manager won't allow a stylist to do an up do, extensions, etc. unless she is great at what she does. They are very serious about making sure every client walks out with a smile and wants to return. It is nice to finally find a place where I know that I am going to be heard when I ask for something and trust the person to do a great job. I travel all over the country for work and I will wait and let the gray show before I will go anywhere else!

Being the most incredibly picky human alive about my hair, and being so much so that I will literally at times wait to get my haircut until I visit DC (where i lived & had the most wonderful stylist), which sometimes doesn't happen except for 1x per year, (i've lived in Dallas 4 years). And when I have ventured out into Dallas / Plano area to try out different salon's, well... to put it nicely... I never go back.

It was until today, when I pulled up the yellow pages in Plano, because i was desperate for a haircut before I went to Vegas, because it's easily been at least 6 months since i'd gotten a cut and my hair was below my waist, and just dead as can be on the ends, that I found my permanent stylist in TX. Today (I just got back from getting my haircut) I called the salon after finding them in the yellow pages. The phone was answered promptly and Miriam informed me that while they were closed, she was going to be in the area and would be more than happy to meet me. (first impression - NOW THAT"S WHAT I CALL SERVICE!). She met me there in moments, and while the shop was closed, she was more than accomodating.

She looked at my VERY long hair and was complementary, especially since she specializes in Extensions, "do you know how much people pay to have this hair?!" She said. I told her I definitely wanted to keep it long but i needed a change. I gave her the same explanation as above regarding my luck w/ stylists and my perameters were simply, "keep it long, make it more layered and styled, and healthy healthy healthy." She said I'll make you happy.

And SHE DID! Within 30 minutes (and that's while juggling phone calls etc... - because she was the only person there) I had a completely new and styled 'do EXACTLY what I didn't even know I wanted, it was perfect. It's like she talked to my hair in secret and they came up with the perfect solution together for my head! :) Go there! It's absolutely worth it. I'll be a loyal customer forever.

I recently moved from Hawaii and was desperately in search of a new stylist...after many failed attempts, I fortunately came across Mazarys. Geri does a great job and although I usually had my hair in a very light blond she suggested that I tone it down a little and add more highlights throughout. It looks great and I am pleased that I have found someone to replace my old stylist. I have long hair so I couldnt use the extensions but I have watched others receive them and they are gorgeous...Also for any one who likes threading instead of waxing, this is the best place I've been able to find in Dallas.

When I first came to Mazary to get exstensions I was a little nervous because I have had them done before from someone else and they did it a different way and it damaged my hair but Mazary does it where they bond it. I have nothing but positive comments from my friends on how great a job they have done of making it look so natural. My boss who has gotten them done for over 7 years was impressed, she couldnt believe how you couldnt see any of the bonds. I also get constant compliments on the coloring variation in my hair. The way they are able to mix so many different shades of blonde to get it to look so natural is amazing. They have great people that work there and they are quick as well. They are great at taking last minute appointments if they can. I would recommend them to anyone who needs exstensions or who simply just needs a highlight. Great work Mazary!

I am very particular about who I entrust my hair to, after receiving more than my share of bad haircuts over the years, so when I relocated to DFW I was very nervous, and unsure of who I should go to. After researching salons for a few weeks, I decided upon Mazary. From the moment I stepped into the salon, I was put at ease, and made to feel completely comfortable. Everyone was so friendly, and helpful, and I was offered everything from a drink to lunch. Miriam was so professional, and concerned with my comfort from start to finish. She really listened to what I had to say, and using her expertise, created a beautiful haircut and style that fit my face shape, personality, and personal style. I love it, and will continue to come back to Miriam again and again!

I have used Mariam for many years to color my hair. She always does an excellent job, she is a color genius! I have very fine hair so it is important to use a color EXPERT so my hair does not get damaged. I have tried several hair styles and lengths?even extensions, but Mariam knows what looks best on me, I trust her implicitly and always just put my hair in her hands to do what is best for me. I?d follow her anywhere, but it is great to see in this great shop in the wonderful Willow Bend location. I would recommend her to ANYONE, best wishes to Mariam and the girls.

I just got my hair extensions done here, and was just blown away by the wonderful job and terrific customer service. Everyone in the salon was super nice, helpful, and talented. My hair has never looked better.
The salon was sparkling clean, and they were super helpful, always making sure I was comfortable and happy. (I was)!
I left feeling as though I'd made new friends.
I recommend Mazary Salon to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW-My sister also gets her hair extensions done here. They were so gorgeous, I couldn't wait to go get mine done there. I'm soooooooo happy I finally did. It's the best investment I've made in a long time.

There are many places in DFW to get extensions now, so DON'T go here! The extenstions will start falling out immediately, and the extensions you just paid $2000 for?? Go back to have the ones that fell out replaced, and they will charge you another several hundred dollars. Some of the "assistants" that are putting in extensions at this salon are not certified. They badmouth their clients after they leave the salon! They also use cheap color here. Ask to see the product!

The Mazary Hair Studio is lovely. I'm not the best at conveying what I want, but Mirium was great at taking what I said and morphing it into a color. I got an all over color and highlights and it looks wonderful. They have superb teamwork, one person will color, one person will rinse, another will cut, and the end result is great. The staff is so friendly. As we all know hair treatments can sometimes be time consuming, but the time flies because of the great atmosphere they provide. Plus they offer you a beverage about every half hour. When you're there you don't feel like you're just a head of hair, but a person. Their attention to detail and customer service will keep me coming back.

If you've had a bad hair cut you know what it's like to try and get the nerve up and go to another salon. Well imagine if you had a bad hair cut, top that with terribly damaging color and now your hair is falling out!
Thank goodness for Mazary Hair Studio and their team. The first good sign was when I called a friendly voice listened earnestly to my tragic tale and when I finished she talked a little about procedure and price then told me if I was still interested come in a consultation.
Jade took about 15 minutes to chat with me and show me different extension options and it was all so very personal. When I came in a few days later the entire team was ready for me, Marline did a absolutely perfect job on coloring my hair, without even a color chart she mixed up amazing tones and highlights making my hair so radiant and natural.
Then Jade, a total rock star if I ever saw one up close, shaped the nasty remains of my hair into a sassy and classic style. But this hairdo heroine was just getting started. Next Jade was joined by Ashely, a heart stopping talented styles, and they both began putting on 3 or 4 different colors of extensions. Both Jade and Ashley won my trust and heart with their honesty and sincerity.
Everyone in the salon worked as a team, very relaxed and casual but attention to detail was always top of mind. These lady's helped each other with different customers, joked and yet every customer left with perfect hair and a smile of satisfaction. The confidence this team exudes makes you feel at ease. Jade and Ashley transformed my hair and my confidence.
Keep in mind this was not my first visit to one of Dallas' "premier" salons, so I was ready for the snobs, over priced products, harsh attitudes and egos. What a relief to not have all that at Mazary. Just fabulous stylist, personal atmosphere and excellent attitudes! Jade, Ashley and the entire Mazary ? YOU ROCK

Mazary Hair Salon is a cut above the rest in Dallas. I've been coloring my hair for.......oh, years (ha), and the customer service, professionalism and brand of products used at Mazary has made me select this salon as the one for ME. It is well worth a drive from Midlothian! Everyone is friendly, the stylists and staff actually LISTEN to the clients and know what they are doing, and just the general feel of the salon while I am there is enjoyable. I have received more compliments on my hair since going to Mazary than in all the years of having my hair done. I highly recommend this salon!!!!

I decided to visit Mazary's for a brief consultation and left with a new " look ".

The experience was well organized, the staff fantastic, the salon comfortable and inviting, and even better the " Hair Professional" know what they are doing. Normally when you are in a salon and have several people work on you, it feels as if they are short handed or possibly overbooked, this is not the case at all. At this salon, each one of the sylist's has their own expertise and they all work together to give you the best combination of that knowledge. Mazary oversees the entire process and finalizes your design before you are complete.

Thanks for my new hairdo!!! I will see you in a couple of weeks.

My experience at Mazary was a gift from a friend so I have no judgement on the cost, however, I can say that they are all extremely professionaly girls that understand the look you're going for with ease. I told the stylist the color I was aiming for and she brought out a huge list for me to choose from and the outcome was more intense than I had expected but still looked awesome. I am very sastisfied with my new color and highlights. It was cozy and comfortable and I can't wait to go back and get extensions.

I visited Mazary's Salon a couple of days ago and it wasn't "the best" like most the reviews on here stated, but it wasn't the worse salon I've ever been to either. It was okay. The size of the salon was pretty small and there are only two chairs for customers to sit in. The salon was clean, but it just felt like the customers were seated too close to one another. Like some reviews on here stated, about three different people worked on my hair. I guess I'm just use to one stylist and someone else to shampoo and not three different people working on my hair. I had one person place the highlights and foil on my hair, while Miriam was cutting another lady's hair and supervising at the same time. Then I had another lady shampoo my hair, and lastly, Miriam actually cut my hair. Anyway, I do like my highlights and hair cut, but to be honest, i do feel like the results are just average. One thing I might add, I did leave the salon with styled but still damp hair. What I'm trying to say is that my hair was not dried all the way. Don't get me wrong, this salon is not the worst, but it didn't leave me feeling like a new person. I may try Mazary's Salon again in the future, but for now, I'll just keep looking.

Mazary salon is the best service and color job I have ever received in Dallas / Fort Worth area! I have been all over this area trying to find someone that knew and understood my hair type and NO ONE knew what to do with it even those over priced salons. Their idea to fix it was to cut it all off! Not with Mariam, she knew exactly what to do and did an amazing job at it. She spent a lot of time on my hair making sure that it did not get damaged at all and did a beautiful job with the color (which I love!). I love her work and love the other ladies that work with her. All of them had customer service in mind and did not let me leave the salon unsatisfied at all. She has a new customer for life now!

After several unsuccessful hair salon visits, I tried Mazary because of the great reviews it received here. I was not disappointed! Not only did I receive the best cut and color I've had in a long time, they were able to repair the botched highlighting from my previous salon. I was very impressed with the teamwork there. About three different stylists worked on my hair. If one got called away, another one stepped in seamlessly - so I wasn't left waiting in the chair. Everyone was friendly and happy and did a great job. I'll definitely go back.

I have been to mazary 2 times. First time was good, second time was horrible. The customer service was the worst I have ever seen on second visit. Also a friend received hair extensions. After 2 weeks extensions started coming out and mariam wanted to charge to put back in. There is no set price for haircuts as she charged one person $5 less for the exact same haircut as I received. Myself and friend have spent over $1200 for 2 visits.

The Mazry Hair Studio is truly a breath of fresh hair because they actually mean if your not happy with your color or cut they will make it right. The atmosphere is extremely upbeat and positive. You can tell everyone likes each other in the salon. The stylist are half artisans and therapists as they relate to their customers.

I have been shopping for the last 6 months for a salon that I could call my get away where I could come monthly for that much needed matinence of hair and spend a few hours away from the world. I know I have found it at the Mazary salon.

I received one of the best hair cuts that money could buy. I was so impreseed with colorist that worked to get the color that I truly wanted.

This salon truly believes in building the infrastructure that builds a solid and faithful customer base which is providing the best service possible! Hey, that is what call good business.

I was looking to get extensions put in for a friend's wedding. I had initially gone to a different salon for sew-in extensions and the results were horrible. I looked up some websites for taking out hair extensions and came across the Mazary Salon. Miriam was kind enough to take them out and I booked an appt. w/ her for clip-on extensions. I was a bit nervous at first because of my previous bad experience but was more than pleased when I saw the end result. She was able to find the perfect match and did exactly what I asked for. She made me feel very at ease and comfortable and is one of the sweetest stylists I have met. I was complimented all night on my hair. I will definitely go back to Miriam the next time I get extensions put in.

I was looking for a stylist that would actually tell me what style and color would look good on me as I'm not very good at determining myself. I just happen to find Miriam at Mazary. From the minute I walked into the Salon, everyone was friendly and made sure I was taken care of. One of the things that I saw with Miriam that I have never seen with other stylist is that she teaches her other stylist. She checks their work before the client leaves the salon to make sure the style, color etc. is up to her standards. When I received my service, I had both Miriam and two other stylist work on my hair. All were great to talk to and professional and I love my color and style. I would definitely recomment this salon to anyone and will be going back for additional services.

I currently live in Denton but was recommended to drive out almost an hour to try this salon. IT WAS COMPLETELY WORTH IT! The ladies there were so much fun and did an amazing job with my hair. I wanted to have a real pro placing me extensions, in order to have a natural look ...I made all kind of searches, on internet, the magazines and even went salon to salon. I'm happy that I got the correct result and was able to find Miriam and her salon.

Mariam is my personal hair goddess and she is without question the nicest human being ever to grace a planet and certainly one of the most talented and patient when it comes to handling obsessive compulsive clients who are adamant about GREAT HAIR.
I have annoyingly fine hair and went to Mariam for extentions prior to embarking on a USO tour to Kuwait and Iraq. That was two years ago and it has been the best two years of hair in my ENTIRE LIFE.
She is a perfectionist and if you are unhappy with something she will bend over backwards to fix it to your liking.
She has a remarkable talent for color so if you need highlights GO TO MARIAM AZARY. She will rock your follicles like no other stylist.
It is not just hair that Mariam excells at, she is a wonderful friend and her customer service is second to none.

I really loved the Mazary hair salon- Mariam got my coloring just how I liked it, and she is definitely one of the better colorists I have went to. I love my new extensions-they are so fun and exactly what I was looking for. For upkeep, etc. I am definitely going back to Mazary to get them readjusted, get my hair redone, etc. I have looked all over for a moderately priced place which does an amazing job, and this is it! Also, the staff (Jeri, Kathleen, & Scott) were all so friendly and did very good jobs as well. Although the space is small now, Mazary will be moving to a larger location soon (from what was said), so I'm sure the tight space issue will be soon resolved. Also, try going on a weekday because I went on both Saturday and Wednesday - the weekday was a bit more calm and relaxed, but the job was just as well done on Saturday with no problems! I hope that my opinion helped some of you out, but truth is, you never know if you will like the place or not until you try it out yourself, so I definitely recommend all of you looking for a new colorist, or if you are getting extensions to go to Mazary!!!

I visited the mazary salon a couple of weeks ago after viewing her websiteand reading the reviews! I was highly disappointed when i got there. I had to wait 45 mins for her to even see me and i had 4 different people working on me at all different times. The salon was small and uncomfortably dirty! This salon is just very unorganized and i am not satisfied with my color or cut! I would not recommend this salon!

Thanks to Miriam I like my hair again!

Not only do I think she did a great job on my hair, but I applaud her for being very honest, creative, and not just doing what I wanted. She took her time in order to explain the best styles which would match my profile, and showed me pictures of some of her clients with similar facial caracteristics.
To be honest, I was a little hesitant at first, but found out she was right!

She did also a fantastic color-highlight that looks really great!

Miriam, the owner, is fantastic and a real artist. She's always ahead of the trends and has loads of experience.

She knows your personality and needs, and I always leave feeling beautiful. Her cuts grow out great and I only need come back every few months, so its a great value. Not to mention she knows her color and products, and can really help you find what will work for you.

I've never felt so good about getting my hair done! People stop me on the street to ask me where I get my hair done!

I recently had a makeover done at Mazary and was very pleased with the results. I cut off about 7 inches and went back to my natural color with some highlights. I have never been happier with my hair. I'm getting tens of compliments on it.

I have been going to Mariam for at least ten years, after working with several of the so-called top stylists and colorists. I have never enjoyed so many compliments, both on my color and cut. She is a supberb colorist, carefully selecting the shading that is most complimentary to onea's complexion. As a blond, I can attest that he never lets my hair go ashy - a common complaint - and always makes sure that the color is that wonderful blend one sees in a child's hair. Her styling is equally great. taking into account my lifestyle, my fashion likes and dislikes and everything else which makes for a great cut. She's also very friendly and a real sweatheart.

After searching all over Plano for someone to put in hair extensions for me, I decided on Miram. This was one of the best decisions I 've ever made. Miram listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly what I asked for, even though she suggested something else. I wore the extensions, which looked absolutely amazing and natural, for about two weeks then decided Miram knew what she was talking about the first time. She changed the sewn in wefted extensions to a brand knew extension system, called Double Hair by Balmain, which are placed close to the scalp with tiny heated pieces of fiberglass (NO SEWING) and the extensions can be used again. You don't have to buy new hair everytime you go back!!! These are the best extensions I've ever seen. The process took mininal time to put in, about 45 minutes -1 hour and look BEAUTIFUL! I can do anything to these extensions that I would do to my own hair. I can wash and dry them, use hot rollers, curling irons and flat irons. I can even do the touch up on the new growth of my hair color without having to take them out. The extensions can stay in for 6-8 weeks before I have to go back and have them repositioned. Of course this all depends on how fast my hair grows. The best part about all of this though, has been Miriam. She is the sweetest, most considerate hair stylist I've had in my 20 years of going to salons. I'll never go anywhere else . . . unless she does.

In my opinion, the best colorist in the city is Miriam at Mazary. I used to go to Miriam when she was at Maquillage Salon in Irving. I was so happy to find her again and to see that she has established her own business and has 2 locations! No matter, where she goes.. I won't loose her this time and I know I have the choice of where to see her! When she does my highlights, she makes sure to only lighten the roots of the strands she worked on last time. With other colorists, the highlights would look good the first time but then after the second or third time, my entire head would be solid blonde. I also dont have to get my highlights done as often, because my natural color still exists in between the strands she lightens. Miriam is my angel !!

I found her salon after having a perm disaster at another salon--she not only was able to fix the damage from the first salon but gave me a haircut that I have kept for over a year now, I like it so much. I tried this place not knowing what to expect! I had very long curly coarse hair and had a color job done really bad. I needed help , I went to Mazary and met with Mariam. She helped me learn about my hair and how to take care of it. I let her use her skill and take a chance to do whatever she wanted. All I have to say is that I was speachless when I looked in the miror..She's a real master... It was the best hair cut style and blowout that I have ever recieved from any hair salon... My brown hair color had been "messed up" about a year ago (the top layer was ash/green tinted and the bottom red/warm tinted). Two other color "experts" could NOT fix it, they just tried to cover it up. I was almost in tears when I went to Mariam. She told me what needed to be done, what it would cost, and she did it! I am so grateful that I found her. What a relief to find a REAL color expert with very fair prices!!!

I city searched (you and I both know city search has let all of us down sometimes), and Mariam Azary popped up. She was close to my home so i gave her a try. She was quick, knowledgeable, friendly, and AMAZING. Im a pretty picky guy, and i do not like all the real yellow blond highlights, but she made it natural, stylish, and NOT BLEACHY YELLOW! Never have i found someone to style and make my hair look this good. I just thought it would be the least i could do to thank Mariam on here. Thanks city search for actually getting something right!!! See you soon Mariam!!

P.S. It's funny how Coppoleg(see above) also "visited" another hairstylist the same time he/she "visited" Mariam and felt dissatisfied with both of them. Check it out, its actually funny, cause they are both Top 10!!!! Jealously I smell? That's ok, ill just bring all 50,000 UT students to Mariam.

I recently went to Mariam to highlight my hair because of all the fabulous reviews on this website. I thought this site and its users would give me some good advice... I was wrong. I felt her work was average to below-average. I have had 5 people highlight my hair throughout my life... and she has been near the bottom of my list. I also would say her customer service skills were poor. She had a walk-in client in her chair when I arrived on-time for my appointment and had the audacity to ask me to wait (she was just starting to highlight this woman's hair). Anyway, don't waste your time ladies... her prices aren't low enough to justify the poor service and average highlights.

I have had a terrible highlight situation few months ago and have been trying to fix it ever since. Mariam gave me all over blond highlights that are shiny and natural and go amazing with my fair skin.

I'm happy to have become her customer and I thank City Search and its users for having posted their reviews.

The job is exceptional and great!

I went to her Irving location and she fixed my hair which was a mess! A real mess I said!
She's a real hair color and design master

No wonder she has been nominated TOP TEN in Dallas

She refused my tip but got the promise that I'll express my feeling and apreciation, and here I'm...

I had never had such a great hair cut and highlight work.

Mariam is a real master and a fantastic chemist. She used a special mixture made especially for me and the result is astonishing.

My hair is alive and like talking.

I'm happy of having moved to Dallas for many reasons. For sure, finding Mariam is one of them.

Mariam should take care of every women on this planet.
She does a fantastic job for 1/2 of what I was getting charged
