Michelle created a long luxurious look for me out of hair extensions after I had a home dying hair incident and had to cut off all my hair. With only a little bob to work with she blended the extensions and created a very natural look for me. I am still in awe of the work she has done and will continue to return to her. The extensions are easy to care for, comfortable and long lasting. She is truly an artist. I recommend her to all.

Michelle transformed my dull dark-brown hair with grayish looking blonde highlights into beautiful vibrant hair. She combined a light base with golden blonde highlights and I am on my way to becoming a blonde once again! I am very happy with my new look. She also cut my hair in layers that added body to my thin hair. Michelle is very knowledgeable in her field and she will create a look that will definately accentuate your facial features and skin tone. Thank you Michelle!

I have been debating on getting hair extensions for a very long time. I heard about Great Lengths and decided to do my research. Here I found Michelle and continued reading all the wonderful things people wrote about her. I decided to go to the salon for a consultation to see how I felt and instantly was welcomed. Michelle really takes the time to listen to me and what I am looking for. She truly is a master of her craft. My hair always comes out just like I pictured it.

I?ve had some dreadful experiences with several hairstylists all over Miami, and I mean EVERYWHERE! When I first came to Michelle back in February, my hair was completely butchered. She managed to make it look beautiful again. This was also my first experience with hair extensions, and I absolutely love them! They are great! They look so natural, no one can tell. I consider it my own hair. And Michelle always gives me that edgy look I?m going for with radiant colors and sleek, modern haircuts. I get endless compliments on my hair. Michelle never seizes to amaze me with what she can do. The service is exquisite, as well as the environment. Michelle and Lucy (her assistant) are genuinely good people, and great at what they do.

Michelle is AMAZING!! I live in beverly hills and have tried all kinds of different extensions and stylists. I have found that Great Lengths is definitely the best and Michelle is a miracle worker! I flew to Miami just to have a consult with her bc I have heard such great reviews and they are most definitely ALL true! My hair had basically been ruined by all the previous stylists i had worked with and thanks to her my hair is now gorgeous! Thanks so much Michelle, I'll be back in four months for more, i think i will go longer this time. I was nervous at first bc I didnt want them to be too noticeable but now that I see what great work she did I dont think it matters how long I go, she can still make them look natural. I am writing this review because I think everyone should know what an amazing extensionist and colorist Michelle is. I have seen so many girls with really bad and noticeable extensions here in Miami, they all need to know about Michelle! I have been going to her for the over two years and not a single person, not even my closest friends, know that I have extensions. They think that all this beautiful hair is all mine, and I figure there is no reason to let them in on the secret if it's so unnoticeable. She truly knows how to customize for your hair type. I have very fine hair so the other extensions I have had in the past have all been really noticeable and weighed down my hair a lot. I don't know how she does it but she makes it look perfect. Michelle has been so good with my hair!

I have had extensions done by different people in both new york and miami, and never knew how fabulous they could look when done by the right person. Not only do they look amazing but with her I didn't have to sit in a chair for 9 hours, she did them in less then 4 hours, crazy!

Anyways, if you are considering getting hair extensions, you must go to Michelle, seriously, I have tried some of the "best" people in the industry in both Miami and NYC and Michelle is by far THE BEST!!!!!

Whether it's a cut, color or extensions, Michelle is the person to go to. She's excellent at what she does and the nicest and most caring person that I have ever met. Michelle's salon which is decorated in excellent taste makes you feel right at home and a conversation with her is always inspiring and educational. She rocks!

I just got my first set of Great Lengths hair extensions today and they are absolutely fabulous! Michelle does such amazing work on my hair. I can honestly say that I have finally found a stylist who is the "total package". She is friendly, courteous, always has a smile on her face, and of course a very talented hair colorist and extensionist. I drive over 2 hours to see her every six weeks and she is more than worth it. I know that if you go and see Michelle, you will never see another hair stylist again! She will provide you with a wonderful experience as well as the best hair you could ever imagine! Thank you, Michelle for my amazing look!!!

I have known Michelle for 3 years and never been so pleased with my hair. My highlights are better than ever. I have had my highlights in NY, LA, London and you can't compare. With Michelle's work I see my hair healthy with georgeous color. Also she is very nice to be around. She is very honest and let me know what I need and we come to a decision together about long term hair goals. She always listens to what I have to say and takes it into consideration. I hope she never moves from Miami. I will just have to travel there.

I have been going to Michelle's for about a year now. I can honestly say my hair has never looked better. She is fun and friendly and know exactly what to do to make me look my best. I've been darker in the winter and just had some highlights done for the summer. I've also had extensions added for thickening in my hair that not only made me look better, but made me feel better about myself. There is nothing better than looking to make you feel good.

My color was completely screwed up and Michelle fixed it in one application. Now people stop me and ask me about it! I have very fine hair and she meticulously tweeks a perfect short (I'm a guy) cut. Her place is very "boutiquey" you are not some wet head in a picture window while being oggled by mall shoppers. I am a fussy perfectionist and was sooooo relieved to find her. ( I used to fly to another city for a cut)

I have been a long time client of Michelle's and I am very happy with my hair. She takes into consideration the color, cut style to match it up to my complexion beautifully. We have done several color changes over the years and her work is unparalled. I get stopped often on the streets and have recmmended several friends to her. She always takes into consideration what I want and what my hair needs are to make everything work.
I find her prices very reasonable consideraing the service provided.

Michelle is extremely talented and personable colorist. She is fun to be with and understands what her clients are looking for in color and cut. I had been going to the same colorist for twnety years until he passed away. It was very difficult for me to trust someone eles to highlight my hair. I drive three and half hours to see Michelle she has always been on time. The salon is very clean and neat. Having my hair colored and cut has always been a pleasurable experience with Michelle. I highly recommend her ....she is wonderful

If you want great hair extensions, great color, great cut, and a great person that would actually care about you and your hair, you HAVE TO GO TO MICHELLE!!!!!! There are very few hair stylists and colorists that really take the time to get to know what you really want your hair to look like and Michelle is a genuinely caring person. I went to Michelle in tears over a recent "color nightmare".
She took time to consult with me and assure me that it was fixable.
Little by little she worked with me to create my dream hair, rich color and
gorgeous highlights that accent my face. She even did a cute cut for me.
I have been her faithful client for over a year now and wouldn't trust my hair
to anyone else!

It took me about a month of meticulous searching/communicating to find a hair stylist that had both the high level of expertise, professionalism, and compassion that I found with Michelle.
I am a domestic violence "refugee" and after about a year of reconstructive surgery needed after years of abuse found that my once long, thick, healthy hair was in a horrid state. I was so embarrassed about facing the world and decided to go for hair extensions. Most other stylists I found were "out to make a buck," and really didn't care who was sitting in their chair. I contacted Michelle and explained my circumstance and she immediately called me, first to put me at ease, and then to discuss my options. She cleared her schedule and saw me immediately all the while constantly putting me at ease and making sure I was comfortable. She wavered her fee, and asked for just the basic cost of the extensions.
As someone who had become afraid of any Physical contact, I though I would have to "endure" the sitting at a salon while the extensions were put in, but under Michelle's constant gentle assurance and professionalism the whole experience was an uplifting, pleasant one.
As I left her salon, I felt like I was turning a corner in life, and since then have begun to once again take care of my appearance. I left with a light heart and a smile, ready to face the world again.
Michelle is not only a great professional stylist, she is a wonderful person and her compassion and care is put into every strand of hair she works on.

I moved to Miami from New York City in 2002. For years I flew to New York regularly to have my hair colored by a person I had used since my graduate school days. I truly believed my NY colorist was the best to be found. Recently my travel schedule precluded my travel to New York for about four months. My hair was in terrible shape, my dark roots monopolized my head and my passport had expired. I diligently searched for referrals thinking that regardless of how bad the Miami experience was, I could get it fixed in New York. What wonderful luck to have found Michelle ... she is an amazing colorist and a true professional. My hair has never looked better. The color is gorgeous; the condition is terrific and the cut is truly the best I have ever had. I have no plans to return to my former colorist.

Every time I moved it took me some time to find a good hairdresser. After more than four years in Miami, I was still thinking of that amazing cut I would get while living in Tokyo and my hairdresser that was very good with color in Milan.
I was going to salons my friends would recommend me and would come home O.K., but not happy. ? and than I went to a hairdresser that was all but good with my hair. I came home sad and angry! I Googled ?the best hairdresser in Miami? and found Michelle! She did lowlights and highlights, cut, ? and proved she is the best! Michelle is the greatest! I was going to Miami for a vacation about a year ago, and decided that, for the heck of it, I'd get a new look while I was there. I began to search online for Miami's top colorists/stylists, and ran across all of the wonderful reviews about Michelle on CitySearch. After looking around a little more, and not finding anyone that came close to the wonderful things that I read about Michelle, I called her, and was able to get an appointment. I was extremely nervous, because I had only trusted one person previously to color my hair. From the time I walked in the salon, I was totally pampered and Michelle made me feel completely at ease. She made sure that she had a good understanding of the look that I was hoping for, and EXTREMELY METICULOUSLY worked her magic! (I don't know how I could ever be satisfied with another hairstylist!) My highlights were beautiful, my cut was fabulous and I came home (to Alabama!) to rave reviews! Now, Michelle is THE stylist that I trust for my color and cuts, and YES, I travel to Miami a couple of times a year just to see her (ok, and to shop while I'm in the neighborhood : )!). I'd very highly recommend her to anyone looking for true talent, professionalism, and a great personality!

My hair looks amazing after having it colored and cut by Michelle. As soon as she looked at me, she knew what would suit me. I needed some corrective coloring because my previous stylist did not color my hair right. My hair turned out amazing and I love my new cut. Even my boyfriend noticed the difference in my highlights and usually guys never notice those things :-). She even gave me lots of tips on styling it and told me I could call her anytime for questions. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

I dont even know where to begin.. im 16 and a few months ago my hair was down to my belly button!! When i got cancer in Feb i then LOST ALL OF MY HAIR! every single long strand.. When i finally finsihed all of my treatment it was about a few months until highschool would begin again.. Of course i wanted to go to school with my long hair but i knew that wasnt going to happen! Then one day my mom woke me up and told me about MICHELLE! and the extensions that she does.. the only catch is my hair would have to be ONE INCH! Well of course i was dieing! I was soo happy but i didnt know what to expect and how it would turn out. So we drove 5 hours down to Miami and finally met Michelle.. who i have been dieing to meet!! and she told me the best news i have heard in a while.. my hair is an inch and would would LOVE to do them!! Well that Friday rolled around and it was an absolute BLAST!! Her and i were laughing about everything the entire time.. it was just like hanging out with a best friend! When she was done it was the most amazing, and beautiful thing i have ever seen!! The colors she used blended with my hair perfectly and it looks and feels better then my old hair! It was truly amazing.. so when i went back to school thanks to Michelle she confused about half of the school thinking how can she not have lost her have during the chemo!! Michelle is a true artist who cares about her clients. In February my 16 year-old daughter was diagnosed with cancer and lost her long, beautiful hair to chemotherapy. While undergoing treatment she heard about extensions but was devastated when told by a number of hairstylists that they could not be applied until her hair was 3-4" long. At that time I read about Michelle on the internet and told her about the situation. She said that she could work with hair that is only 1" long! My daughter was excited and from that time on she remained in constant touch with Michelle. The opportunity to have extensions with very short hair combined with Michelle's support and encouragement kept her going throughout the treatments! Michelle certainly played a huge role in my daughter's complete recovery!
Last week the dream was realized. My daughter was ready to be transformed. Michelle spent 12 hours meticulously applying hundreds of extensions. Five colors were used to achieve a beautifully blended look. During the entire time they shared stories, laughed, and I am sure ached. Yet each extension was placed by the hands of a gifted artist with a compassionate heart.
The final extension was placed, hair cut and styled and an amazing transformation was made. The extensions were amazing!! When she looked in the mirror she said that she finally felt the "cancer thing" was behind her. On Tuesday she proudly walked back into school with her head held high! Her hair was amazing and the confidence she felt radiated from the inside out. She was healed!
I can never thank Michelle enough for all that she has done for my daughter. Her compassion and willingness to work "outside of the box" combined with an unequaled artistic ability gives anyone who has the good fortune of meeting her, an experience of a lifetime.

WOW, what a blessing to have found Michelle! I had a hair nightmare...I was in a hair fashion show where my hair was dyed 3 very contrasting colors from white on top to black on bottom. After several failed attempts to fix it, I found Michelle and told her my story. Instead of shying away from the challenge, Michelle confidently told me that she could not only fix it, but bring me back to the classy blonde I was on the inside. :) BOY, DID SHE EVER! MY HAIR HAS NEVER LOOKED BETTER! The triple highlighting, time, care, precision, professionalism, and personality of Michelle is just amazing. I wish I could post a picture so you all could see it. The cut/color that Michelle gave me was by far the best I have had in Miami. I have been to atleast 6 other salons in Miami and none of them compared to Michelle. She took the time to ask me questions about what I wanted and did not rush the process at all. Michelle was very professional from the time I entered the salon until the time I left. Michelle does amazing things with hair! I have unruly, curly hair and it always seems like a chore to find a hair stylist. I have had some pretty awful hairstyles! When I found Michelle, she was confidant, warm, friendly, and trusting. My color has never looked so good! Michelle is a true artist in what she does, and she really cares about her clients. Michelle does excellent color and highlights. She clearly explains the coloring process and the required maintenance that will keep it looking new. When I came to Michelle, I had very damaged hair from previous color and bleaching. She brought my hair back to life, no more hay-like split ends. Michelle was able to still give me blond hair, she even selected a better shade to compliment my skin tone. I decided to get hair extensions while I was trying to grow my hair out. I feel very fortunate to have met Michelle because I truly believe she is an expert at hair extensions. Not only did she take the time to explain in detail what she would be doing but was focused on what would be best for my hair. She is an extremely patient and comfortable person to be around during the long process. Every time I make the 2 hour drive over to see her, it is just like visiting a friend. I have been to many color specialists and have never been quite satisfied with my color until I met Michelle. She convinced me I should try changing my hair color from blonde to red. I am in love with my red hair and have received many compliments from my friends to total strangers. I am an extreme perfectionist. I have gone through many hair stylist because of poor work. I have to say Michelle is the BEST professional stylist I have gone to. She is extremely professional and has a natural talent for styling hair. Not only does she do amazing work, but she makes it feel like you are getting your hair done by your best friend. She made my hair look like a natural blonde again and gave me extensions that truly looked and felt real. I have never seen so many men turn their heads at me before!
