Christy Honsberger at Ellouise

When I was out and about one day, I saw this girl with a hair cut and color sassy enough to make me ask who done it. She told me, with a big smile, "this really sweet and cool chick, Christy..."
I wrote down her name and the name of the salon and called the next day to make an appointment. I came in with one, rigid idea---keep it long! But Christy kindly pointed out the benefits of getting rid of the dry, splitting, beat-up looking ends. And I'm so glad she did! She worked with the natural wave in my hair to give me a cut that was not only the kind of sassy I wanted, was easy to manage, and still looked "long," but a cut that didn't cost me an arm and a leg to get! She is smart, funny, and is eager to work with her client to achieve his/her complete satisfaction.
All this in a salon that is airy, elegant, and full of really cool art!

I was referred to Christy through a co worker, I'm new in town wasn't sure where to go. Had such a great experience. The salon is beautiful, situated on an industrial street an old warehouse style building, very cool! Christy was a sweetheart, I was a bit nervous going to someone new but the minute we talked I knew I was in good hands. Loved my hair! Loved the place! A unique find in Pasadena.

I just moved to LA, and wasn't sure where to go. I got desperate and asked a woman who's hair I admired out at dinner. She handed me Christy's card. I'm so thankful! It's very hard to find someone who actually listens to what you want. Christy gave me exactly what I asked for. She even taught me how to easily blowdry my hair, turns out I've been doing it the hard way all these years. I can't wait to send my husband to her!

My hair now has twice the volume and twice the compliments. What an excellent experience - I look forward to returning for color.

Christy is the most talented stylist I have ever encountered! I am someone who asks a million questions, and Christy actually had answers for me. She obviously very good at what she does and I felt that she really enjoys her work as well. She had great ideas and when we were done my hair looked like the picture we agreed on- that's never happened to me before.
She is very sweet and you can tell she is just a genuinely nice person. Ask for her she's great.
