SAFETY Auto Glass

I was connected with Safety Auto Glass Round Rock by Allstate. The repairman as late but friendly; my window was replaced with a cheapo piece of glass that didn't fit properly and thus water nows gets into my vehicle. I am awaiting a possible replacement. The repairman seems hopeful, however I called into theR ound Rock office and was lied to and treated badly. Over all, I'd look elsewhere, unless you are going to be working only with a guy named Roy.

After searching the internet and numerous phone calls for a good company to do my windshield replacement I contacted Safety Auto Glass. They were a little bit more expensive than some other companies I contacted, but the level of service provided from initial contact to completed job was fantastic! A bit unusual these days. I highly recommend this company for a quality job and great service.

After browsing Austin Citysearch to find a company to replace my front windshield, I came across Safety Auto Glass's listing. They had a rating of 8.4, so I looked at their website to see what they had to offer. They seemed credible and reliable, so I gave them a call to get a quote on the glass. They were a little more expensive than some other companies I had gotten quotes from, but I decided to go with them because they seemed to be more professional and they promised to install a particular brand of glass that I had requested (it is the same brand of glass that came on my car). I was completely disappointed with everything about my experience with Safety Auto Glass. First of all, they were 1 hour and 15 minutes late for my appointment even though they gave me a 4 hour window of time to get to my office. Then, they installed a different brand glass than what I had specifically asked for, which was part of the reason that I chose to do business with them. The installer didn't even know what glass he put on my car and that I was supposed to have a different brand. The glass was already installed on my car, so I didn't want to go through any more hassel at this point, being that I had to stay 2 hours after the end of the workday to get this done. So, I was ready to pay the installer, but he wouldn't let me pay with a credit card even though it explicitly states on their website that they accept credit card payments. Luckily I had my checkbook, or we would have had a big problem. Then, to top the whole poor experience off, the coping on the driver's side of the glass wasn't glued well at all, and you could slide it up and down along the glass. The windshield wasn't even sealed!!! I find it really funny that they are called "Safety Auto Glass" and my windshield wasn't even securely fastened to my car. I couldn't be more disappointed with Safety Auto Glass! My experience with them was a headache all the way through.

It was really nice to deal with a company that still understands what quality service means. Rare these days. Very rare. They went out of their way to accommadate my ever-changing schedule and they came to my office and replaced my windshield. The technician was professional and courteous. I will tell all my friends and family to use Safety Auto Glass!
