All I have to say is... you can get a better message at Message Envy or Message Harmony. Woodhouse Day Spa is also a chain, by the way. The customer service (who's the owner's sister) was shocking! I recommend Lake Austin Spa or anywhere else for that matter.

I travel over an hour to get to this spa. It has the most relaxing atmosphere, friendliest staff, and the best facials-I've had three out of four with Cheryl-she's my favorite. My family knows what I like for birthdays and special occasions and then I just sometimes treat myself. The massages are great, too.

Their service is impeccable; their staff is not only skilled, but calming. Since my son gave me a gift card for my first visit, I make my next appointment before I leave each month, just as I do with my hair stylist! The facility is great -- inducing a relaxed, perfumed state from the moment I rush in from the heat. The smiling, thoughtful staff makes the stay a pleasant oasis from the daily grind so I leave refreshed, relaxed, and renewed. My compliments to Nita -- excellent, invigorating yet relaxing massage; to Leslie, whose pedicure was very thorough and left my unattractive size 9 feet looking soft and lovely; and to Cathy, whose manicure left my hands and nails in perfect shape. Seeing that same group every month would be perfect. These few hours spent relinquishing control while Woodhouse attends to the details has become a highlight of my month. Even waiting for the polish to dry is relaxing -- definitely a surprise for a type a person!

The Woodhouse Day Spa offered fantastic options during Spa Week 2008. Monica gave me a soothing facial and offered excellent personal skincare advice. The facial included a massage of the head, neck, shoulders, and arms. I felt very pampered. I also treated myself to a manicure and pedicure. Amber gave me the best manicure and pedicure I've ever had.
I felt welcome and relaxed from the beginning to the end. Yes, I had some cinnamon tea--and bought a tin of it. This place really was my cup of tea.

The atmosphere of this spa is excellent. Peaceful, they greet you with nice tea. The people are also very nice. However, I was not thrilled with their special facial. I specifically stated that I am sensitive to frangrances and wrote that on my checkin stuff. I told the facialist about my sensitivities and she said they only used a little bit of the oils in their products, I usually only use frangrance free if I can. I had blotchy spots the next day and my chin is peeling. The problem is that they have specific rituals that they follow, do not deviate from them and they love aromatherapy. Great for them, not great for those of us with sensitivities to perfumes - even when they are "essential oils".

I just had a pedicure with Shanie, and I recommend her wholeheartedly. She was considerate and professional, and gave me a divine foot and leg massage. I told her my feet were extra sensitive, and she took a lot of care not to be too rough with the pumice or instruments. The whole experience was relaxing and fun, and now my feet look and feel rejuvenated.

The facility was very clean and well kept, and every member of the staff was friendly and courteous. Parking was easy.

I love The Woodhouse. I try and go there for a pedicure or massage at least once a month. From the moment you arrive you will feel pampered. All of the technicians are very pleasant and do what they can to make your experience a good one. They have two very nice waiting areas, which make you not mind having to wait at all, where you can sip on tea or water while you wait. The entire place smells very calming of lavender, I believe it is. Very much a good place! I would recommend to anyone!

I set up a bridal shower here for my sister for a group of three to experience peppermint pedicures. We felt pampered from the moment we walked through the front door. We arrived early for our appointment and were invited into a plush waiting area and offered our choice of water or a list of complimentary teas. The nail techs were ready to care for us very punctually and invited us individually to follow them. Upon being seated on the foot baths we were presented with warm neck wraps and their serene oil, which was immediately relaxing. Our foot soaks were followed by delicate foot pampering and delightful foot and leg massages that almost put me to sleep. Shanni was my nail tech and was professional and courteous. She ended the massage a velvety lotion for the feet and legs. The three of us were able to sit in the same room during our pedicures and enjoy the bridal shower experience I was hoping for. Even when our pedicures were done they invited us to return to the waiting area and relax and be together. I will be a repeat customer.

What a Treat!!

From the moment I entered the door of the Spa I encountered nothing but courtesy, respect and friendliness. I had a facial (my first) which was fantastic. The staff member was very professional and knowledgeable.

I had a delightful expericence and would highly recommend the Spa, can't wait to return..

This is the best day spa I have ever been to in the Austin area. The receptionists are GREAT, always friendly and knowledgable. Best facial I have ever had! Completely relaxing environment. Never had a bad experience. Management, you've done a great job, you have a wonderful staff!

I am a spa LOVER! My husband and I travel to spas for vacation. I was very surprised to find such a high quality spa here near the middle of Capital of TX Highway. The robes, the quiet, the atmosphere and the services are all the highest of quality -- I had a deep tissue massage and a facial recently that were as good as any at an exclusive travel destination resort spa like Enchanment Resort in Sedona.

I first went to Woodhouse when I won a silent auction prize, and have been going back ever since. The facials took years off my age. I loved the mood, the steam and the aromas of all their products put me where I needed to be. Great head and shoulder massages as well. I also have friends tell me that their massage therapist is over the top in her deep tissue technique, as well. I love their products and use them at home in between appointments.

People say I don't look my age. Well, there is a reason I don't. Once a month I have my facial and massage. There are a variety of facials at Woodhouse and it just depends on what I need that month. This is one appointment I don't miss and the results are evident with everyone noticing the difference. That alone encourages me to continue on this path. Plus, it feels so wonderful. Try it out, I'm sure you'll find the outstanding results as I have.

I love visiting Woodhouse Day Spa. As soon as I walk through the doors, I am greeted by a wonderful floral smell and the sound of trickling water. I immediately relax and look forward to my experience. Someone is always there to ask how I am doing and guide me through the services I have requested. The look and feel of the spa is elegant but welcoming. You feel comfortable going in for a quick massage or spending several hours there with a group of friends. The staff is polite and professional and all of my services have been exceptional. I highly recommed Woodhouse Day Spa.

My mom and I spent an afternoon at Woodhouse Day Spa, each receiving a massage, manicure, and pedicure. My mom said it best, "Pebble Beach has nothing on Woodhouse!"

Not long afterward, I went in for another massage. It too was so amazing that I bought a Gift Card for my husband and made him an appointment for him. Even though he was hesitant to go initially, when he came back home he said, "You must really love me to give me such an experience. I love you too. I really needed that." He just loved his massage, foot massage, and Shirodhara Scalp Massage. It was the first time in months I saw him relaxed and himself again.

Thank you Woodhouse! We're customer for life!!!

If you want to get any kind of wrap Elisha is the girl to go to at Woodhouse Spa. I've always heard a girl needs to have a detoxifying wrap once in her life, well i'm going to be getting them regularly after my visit a few weeks back. After a busy weekend of moving Woodhouse was relaxing and completely calming. Elisha made me feel right at home as she explained every step of the process and allowed me to ask questions along the way. I love her and Woodhouse so much not only will i be going back for the body wrap, but i'm also going to get the Minkyti facial as well! Spoil yourself and make an appointment with Elisha today and dont' worry about only going M-Sat as they are open on Sundays!!!

I received a gift card for the Woodhouse Day Spa and had a wonderful experience. The massage and facial I had done were incredible. I have been to many day spas but this experience was different. The atmosphere of the spa was very relaxing and peaceful. The staff was friendly and willing to do anything to make you feel special and your experience a memorable one. Overall, this day spa exceeded my expectations.

I have been getting manicures and pedicures for about 20 years. Gabby Crawford does the best of both that I have ever had. I am so sorry that she left Harlingen. Appreciate her in Austin. She's magnificent.

From the moment I walked through the doors I knew it was going to be a good day. The decor is luxurious, yet tasteful, and everything contributes to the overall feeling of relaxation. First, I had a facial with Sheryl. She really made me feel like I was in capable hands. It was not only relaxing; my face got at least 8 compliments the week after. Then, my deep tissue massage with Nita turned me to jelly. The spa had me rest in a room with a sweeping view of the Hill Country, then I floated through the rest of my day. This day was a gift, but I have no qualms about plunking my own money down in the future.

I purchased a swedish massage and seaweed body treatment for my girlfriend, and she loved it. The staff at the Woodhouse was so helpful on the phone when booking her appointments, and they treated her like a queen. My girlfriend said Chrissy was so professional, and made her feel so comfortable during her treatments. I truly appreciate the service she received, and will tell everyone to check them out.

I've been to Woodhouse many times. I recommend the Oxygen or Minkiti Facials. They are heaven compared to other facials I've had. Both Carol and Becky are pros.
Massage is great too--ask for Nita. Best deep tissue kind of massage I've had.

Only thing lacking is nail services. For $60+ I expect more foot rub time.

But that's it. I wouldnt' keep going back if it wasn't fabulous!

I had the wonderful opportunity of visiting Austin's newest day spa last week. The Woodhouse Day Spa located off of 360 has a relaxing, beautiful, and peaceful atmosphere that is new to the Austin area. I scheduled the Minkyti facial with Jamie Hutchings, one of the extraordinary Estheticians at the spa, and I was so impressed with her professionalism and knowledge of the skin. She has trained all over the country and it showed! I highly recommend visiting this spa to experience a new type of well being and pampering. A job well done!!!

The atmosphere in this spa is amaizing. There is no other place like it in Austin!
Its an escape from everyday life and the peolpe that work there spend their days dedicated to making each and every persons experience wonderful.
