Great cheap massage 5 Star Rating - World class

I went about a month ago and tried a "combo" massage -- Swedish & Thai -- and it was an interesting experience to say the least. I've gotten a ton of massages by a ton of different masseuses, but I'd never received a Thai massage before. While I probably will go for just the Swedish next time (the Thai just wasn't my thing), it certainly wasn't a waste of my money. I walked out of there surprisingly relaxed for someone who'd just been bent in ways I didn't were possible. If you're the kind of person that needs a Burke Williams atmosphere, this isn't the place. It's also not some skeezy hole-in-the-wall either. It's pretty much what you'd expect for a $65 1-hour massage -- a smaller building with a pleasant staff and pleasant atmosphere. The prices are uber-reasonable (see last sentence) too! Looking forward to the massage/facial combo next time!

Pros: CHEAP
Cons: Parking is limited

Best Thai Massage and Facial in LA 5 Star Rating - World class

Best thai massage and facial in Los Angeles (let alone the east side)...!!!!

I love the combination massage where you get the relaxation of a traditional massage mixed with a thai massage. It's called the "herbal ball/thai massage". It is hands down the best massage in la.

Also, if you get facials, then you need to get a facial by NINA . They are A LIST (I am talking better than Ole henriksen , Kinara or the Penninsula Hotel). I just tell her to do what ever facial she thinks i need and i leave there with glowing skin! She takes years, stress and lines off my face in one session.
I promise you won't be dissapointed!

Pros: parking in back

Wonderful massages for great value! 5 Star Rating - World class

A friend and I went here for the first time, and had a wonderful experience. Service was very pleasant and efficient, and I for one often enjoy the smaller, privately owned businesses such as this one over the oft much more pretentious facilities. I had a deep tissue massage, and had muscles massaged that I didn't even know existed. My friend got the Swedish a found it very relaxing. She checked in with me often to make sure the pressure was okay, used great oils and was generous with the hot towels. Each room, while relatively small, is very cozy and soothing with soft relaxing music being played. An very well executed hour massage is only $65, but I only paid $50 with my first time customer Citysearch coupon, and they even have happy hour rates before 2pm. And located on Hillhurst in Los Feliz, there's plenty of places to go for coffee or lunch after (Alcove Cafe is right next door). I'll defintiely be returning often.

Good Value! 4 Star Rating - Very good

I've had a handful of massages and facials before, and I was pleased with my experience. The staff were very friendly, but not too talkative, which I appreciate. The woman who I had for my facial and the woman who I had for the massage were great. I like massages with pressure and not with nice, dainty strokes, so I was glad when my masseuse was able to give me exactly the right pressure without my asking. The best part is the cost - only $125 for a 45 min. facial and 1 hour massage.

Nothing was really "negative" about my visit, but you must go into this realizing your in a small storefront on Hillhurst and not a luxurious, grandiose spa on the west side. The rooms are small and a little cramped, but quiet and soothing nonetheless. Additionally, I thought the facial products used were a bit heavy and potent-smelling. I'm prone to acne, and I was a little scared that they were filling up my pores. But no bad side effect yet, so overall, I'm very pleased.

Pros: cost, friendly staff
Cons: ambience
